  1. Welcome to FG, Adam @foxhoundmoses ! It's been great playing with you a few times already. I'm sure @Nutcuttlit and @J&B will look forward to blasting zombies with you! Take a look around and get involved where you can/want to mate. Hope you enjoy being around FG, you'll quickly become part of the furniture I'm sure 😎
  2. Anyone actually picking this up? Be interested to see someone play it and give an opinion from here.
  3. Can you put the details of how to register and buy in on the Calendar event pleeeaase 😀 I know we have to pre-register so we're all in so probably helpful for people to know what to do first if they haven't played already.
  4. I actually agree with pretty much most of this @techno Gary. I've said for a while that as the game evolves, the Power grind has become a secondary factor in as far as achieving goals go whereas in the first number of years, the big Power number was the ultimate goal. What people strive for is new content and i'd agree with them. We all want the best, endgame, brand new never seen before content over older, already completed content. The one part in the detail of this that I struggle to side with though is that some people view literally dismiss any old content in the game like its not 'fun' any more or meaningless. Crucible, Strikes, Gambit, Dungeons, Raids, Menagerie, etc gets categorised into something really boring and the negative train sweeps over people. You'd find a ton of these modes actually really engaging compared to other games. The negativity then breeds to guns and armor. "Woopee, brand new content! A D1 Exotic". I'm sorry, but the people that argue they want more Destiny 1 things back moan when thats stuff is back thats it not new. Selective memory lapses happen all the time. They can't make a million guns each Season, but because there's not 100 guns brand new, they brand the entire season shite before trying out some of the 7-10 guns that are new and new activities that are on offer. And some are pretty crazy good. All in all, I totally agree with Power grind issues. I never look at the numbers anymore, only when I need to see if i'm high enough for an activity, which I think a good way to combat it would totally be putting more Hard modes in the game. Clive @Teenwolf25 has said many times as well as Chad @Riff Machine that make the Raids normal level accessible with unlimited revives and then Hard mode has limited revives at higher power levels. Match that reward and Bingo, stuff to grind for which works with getting higher numbers. Menagerie? Add a few extra bosses and levels. Reckoning? Add a few extra bosses and levels. Forges? Create different objectives to Rounds other than just throwing balls, like Niobe Labs has. Raids? Add new harder modes that have slight twist on each section. If they do things like they do above, then I think the Power Grind as we know won't be an issue. You logon, you have stuff to do. You get rewards from that stuff, you do harder versions of the activies. Oh, and yes it'll never be an MMO, i agree with that too. I don't want it to be. All I want is pretty much every activity to be able to have 6-8 people playing the same activity in the same Fireteam. How good would Patrol and other gamemodes be if they did this?! Personally, the reset to the world come September has me hyped because its kind of blowing up the stale world as we know it. I would much prefer it if every season they started to go back to old content and then work on improving and refreshing it. Good thread Gary. 👍
  5. This has been a fantastic response everyone, don't underestimate how much I appreciate every single one of them ❤️ The poll will remain 'open' for a while so more people that haven't seen this yet can still contribute and give their thoughts. I'm going to get cracking on how to start each area of suggestion with everyone that has raised an interest. I'll try and set that up starting today and over the next 1-3 days so watch this space.
  6. That AI element sounds ace. Not tried normal AC yet, does the same happen in that?
  7. Tom @LordBaguette in his excitement in organising just missed off the RSVP addition which i've just added so you can RSVP on the event now all! Nice one for putting the next one up Tommy Batch Man 🤗
  8. Honestly mate, it was way better than I expected because lately the newest games seem to not really support our bug FG Friday nights but it was such a good laugh. One in the Chamber is sooooooo good. So intense and funny at the same time, good change up and we needed another mode alongside Gun Game. I actually felt that the team games worked well too. Probably need to look at the settings and maybe set some specific games up so we can play that again. And shipment was just as insane as it usually is when we've played it on other CoDs 😂 Nice one Matt, the fact you put effort in beforehand and checked to see how to do the modes and custom matches massively helped - nice to see someone else think of a large MP game for Fridays which I appreciated very muchly 😄❤️
  9. A little sneak pic to some trial stuff we've tried so far... ❤️
  10. See and read the following post here first: Now select any or all of the above that you might want to help and get involved in. You can write more info below if there's you're thinking something is missing or want to explain what part you want to be involved in more. Thanks All!
  11. Its been a while since I did an FG update. So bear with (with who? where is he! I can't see it!? ffs, Lee) I'm sure everyone's days are blending into one these days. 2020 has been one of those years for the history books and we could've said that in March, let alone December which is still just over 5 months away. Isolation has been a double-edged sword in some respect; its been great to see so many chances to spend more time with your immediate family at home but what comes with permanent home comforts is the lethargic lack of routine, loneliness, depression, anxiety which we've also seen impact so many of us. I imagine you all can relate to some degree? For a week or two I've wanted to write something but I've hesitated because I know I have to be ready to 'Walk the Walk' not just 'Talk the Talk' when I really want to make the most of this place for everyone and makes sense to pick up the things we've talked about over the past few years. Who knows if i'm ready, but i'm willing to give it my best shot and there's no better time to dust ourselves off in the midst of some soul searching in isolation. It'd be ace to start creating some of that Legacy i talked about in the article I did back in January. I think the best way to keep everyone in the loop is being open and letting you know a few pressing items I want to see progress with over the coming weeks and months - and I would love to get as many of you involved which I'm working on ways to get to that. Please keep reading! Merchandise Shop - this requires me to purchase and install a whole new section for FG which i'm hoping you'll all enjoy FG Points/Gamerscore - A way to have a meaningful way that gives everyone here an added bonus for being around FG where possible Creating new sections New entire page spaces for games - we can make as many as we'd like providing we can maintain support New homepage - to remind everyone of everything we do. We aren't just a Forum any more, we are far more awesome than that Expanding existing areas Guides & Tips section - the fairly new section needs some love and there's some amazing people here that do great info tips for you all that can easily get lost Re-engaging with old FGers - life's too short to miss everyone and its great seeing so many faces come back, lets do things to get other ones back too. For me its the case of, Why Not, you have nothing to lose seeing old faces and friends. Open our doors to new FGers - we should make more people aware of what we do best - they can have a home here and we can all help them in whatever problems they have. The PPR section just shows how much we have all done to help each other and long may that continue. Regular gaming nights schedule - to help people to keep themselves free, get involved and most importantly make sure the right game is updated and downloaded! Finding more ways to help others Picking up and driving some real charity fundraisers starting with charity streams Try to get a regular pattern on sending out Feel Good Fund parcels to caring FGers I'd hope you all agree whilst there's more we can always find to do, most importantly this is a ton to look forward to as a group/family. Other posts to follow but if you have any burning thoughts please shout up below - a poll will go alongside this post to ask absolutely anyone here if they want to get involved in any specific stuff in the coming weeks and months. Thank you for the last few months everyone; here's to having a better second half to 2020 for all of us 👊😎 GGFG
  12. Brime has shown up a few days ago and has blown over the last few hours as a potential streamer competitive site. Not even a website just yet...
  13. I say why not mate, nothing wrong with sharing your opinion out there. I think the FG Film Club shows that something a little different and fun around all the games we play (and isolation) is good when people interact and mention what they liked/disliked about it - usually watching things years later can give you different perspectives and pick up extra little added bonuses. You doing something similar may help peak interest in other films people may have dismissed in the past. You can always help support me pick some films for future weeks at FG mate. I'd love some support on it.
  14. Indeed. Really weird. He knew something went down very badly. About the last minute I think is enough to watch, i just skipped to that bit.
  15. Ah perfect! I imagine this will help in the new dungeon then 👍
  16. I've never tried Wormgod Caress but I may need to now! It's also using a few mods that I might not have like Solar Plex. I'll check out what I have tonight to see if I can replicate it.
  17. 2:19.292 is the fastest lap based on our little time trial session online last night. I don't think I got a tow so i'll take that.
  18. You missed off the end 'for the past 12 months'. I can kinda see Phil's point as over the years they've had great names and spent millions on people like Torres, Coutinho, Suarez, etc. and not really dominated until this year. Still, can't take it away from them. Delighted for Henderson and Milner, top professionals.
  19. Hope that wasn't about Blackburn as well Philly!! 😤 A very sad day for all other fans yesterday as the 30 years is now over. 😂 In all seriousness, lots of respect to that team winning the league, it had to happen again someday and that team gels extremely well together. Its feels right the Champions of Europe and the World Club Cup are now the English League Champions. Ah well, get ready for years of painful noises in that scouse accent...😩
  20. Make sure you put your name down on the event @G_dub52 @Greboth @slamminbones and everyone else so Matty knows who's coming! Nice one for putting something up Matty @Misneach_ ! 😍
  21. I didn't initally...so after BoP on and Super Soft tyres i ended up 6 seconds faster! Well happy i'm not far behind you both. Yeah, I think you'll let me have that corner/straight 😄
  22. Its about the 4th or 5th turn looking at your lap video. In fact you make me feel better because you slightly undercut the same corner...i'm a little more to the left of that but i've noticed you don't have to lift the pedal with GTI.
  23. Nice one James, i've updated the title 👍
  24. Okay. Gonna have a break to get some other stuff done. Spa Track - Volkwagen GTI VGT (Gr.3) Best time so far 2:20.376 My splits show me that if I could put them into one lap it would get me 2:18.659 so i'm super glad i'm much closer to you both than I realised! There might be an early corner that is kinda flown by though! Not sure if you guys do the same?!
