Nothing will change at Man Utd though until they invest time over multiple years with one manager. Thats why I think Spurs must stick with Jose for many years. I find it staggering how many managers they've let go after still bringing trophies in, just because they aren't the Premiership or the Champions League.

Shame the story spoils it. Whilst I'd like to think I don't care about story parts, its one of the few things that keeps me engaged in a game. Knowing whats going on through a good story adds more I think many will actually recognise. We all listen to good stories which allows for better gameplay in some instances, many ironically think they don't whilst it sub-consciously does. Glad some parts give you some replayability though @phil bottle. How much would you say its worth in your opinion?

Didn't get chance to say much at the time but its yet another great loss. And in 2020 too 😞 Whilst he wasn't my favourite Bond, he was still amazing and what he did in it as well as other things. Totally agree on both counts. Video editing is the same theme running through what you want to learn and you have access to plenty of clips of your own (and ours if you want them). I know you used to do pretty well back in the day on YouTube so no harm in picking some of that back up. That brain needs to keep active between now and whenever stuff will come back to the world we once knew.

This is actually fantastic. Great find @Dan94 . I've just checked as i've still not upgraded yet from my S9 and its only £6 more with nothing upfront if I take myself down from unlimited data to 30GB again which should be relatively easy to stay under.

Not really because his Dad seemed a huge influence. If he did, why come back for anyone less than McGregor and he's made it clear that's a fat no. On the Boxing circuit, I haven't had chance to watch the Chisora Vs Usyk but heard it was a belter. Usyk is really setting the world alight and I could see him moving up to fight AJ in the coming years. Fury vs AJ needs to happen soon for me to keep the boxing world interesting although they're gonna wait for the crowd and a huge pay packet day. I don't think anyone wants to see them fight Wilder, hes lost the plot completely.

Yeah, i took a chance on that corner and felt like I nailed it 😄 I did hit Kiwi, that's for sure but if i'm totally honest I was on the inside of that corner so I think for 3 or 4 corners before I was expecting him to back off cos there was no way 2 cars could get round that corner, so its why I made sure I was on the inside. Thats kinda why chat was annoyingly not there as i was ready to tell @JBR-Kiwi to back off cos I wasn't gonna lose position on that corner! Although, yeah. I fucked up after that with @Greboth 🤣🤣 and cos I then started to feel about having a number of bumps, I decided to wait to join after you all went through. Probably best as I couldn't get my pace up even though I was solidly lapping low 1.31's. I think thats what I like about racing; regardless of how slow or fast you are, track positions are respected and for a very brief moment it felt like I was catching Greebs...until I forgot my speed and decided not brake 🙈

Nope, hated that one! 🤣 Corners are super hard to get round and I find its like the circuit wants you to go off the track which is then a nightmare as it buggers your speed up around the entire lap. Still, a decent first few laps - I probably made it interesting by trying to keep Greebs close enough to the pack by whacking him on the chicane. Annoyingly I felt like I was in touch for a few laps but if i'm honest I never broker 1.30 in that Audi as I the braking and turning into corners on the Laguna Seca isn't that clear to me. I actually take a lot from talking to you all through practice and the race so not being able to talk to you guys cos Sony screwed up chat for the whole night was annoying AF and disappointing. Still, looks like it was a great race ahead of me! 😜

Well, I'll be playing upgrades initially like Destiny 2 and FIFA 21 but I was thinking of GT7 and possibly Cyberpunk 2077 to see if it truly meets the expectations. I suppose Cold War is a standard purchase cos of you guys and I'd love Valhalla if its anything like Black Flag. If I'm honest I've not seen many PS5 games coming out. I'm just looking forward to having 60FPS on Destiny with fast loading times. Oh yes, lovely jubbly!!

🤣🤣 Whats been great to read from my opinion is what a few of you have said about the place and everyone rather than me. This is why I try and tell so many people that may haven't been here for a while to keep checking in. 100 bajillion percent agree. Other people here that haven't got one or tried to get them started should give them a go and maybe take a sneak peak at a few others too. Only takes a minute to check someones PPR out 👍

Chat stuff like discord was initially made to grab people for games and quick chat, not to replace this place. At least it also gives people auto notifications when stuff gets posted which might actually help people keep up to date a little more. The forum sections don't really take much maintenance tbh. Forums will always be about whatever people post up...so everyone can help with this one and stick stuff up! Like the previous post I did in June, there's loads of things we can do, improve, create, etc but we also need to keep everything running, like the usual game nights of fun and lolz. You're always welcome to support and help where you can. The people that raised their hands and i created separate sections for them to put ideas down and get stuff could revisit these perhaps as a good start?

Love that you're trying something new Tom, I think its a great thing to learn too. One of those things many of us would want to be great in but it takes time to learn how it all works. I can't offer much advice from my angle, although if you want to help create some stuff with me at FG likie visuals, gifs, etc then please let me know. This is the right time to get involved if you @Greboth as an example helping out some FGers and also doing the GT Sport ones. @jordie1892 is also kindly helping out with some visuals for FIFA and I certainly wouldn't mind you chiming on any other games that we could do stuff for. Hopefully it all helps from a practice and portfolio perspective.

You see this is great to know. I perhaps am not clear with some vision bits and pieces because i want everything to succeed. We have certain things I personally want to see better and i started that in the separate thread back in June. You would be a super person to write simple step guides and tips for people. You can create whatever ones you think for whatever games. If we get it going I just need to sort out access but I think you could likely write one already in there. Theres also regular social accounts i want to keep them more up to date. Push out larger story posts of all of our escapades. Make them into mini-series. You'd be incredible at that. @ChaosGladiator did some awesome write ups on DayZ before in his PPR. If I know it will be regular we can find ways to highlight things going forward, not just at our Home. As for your PPR, i'd argue it isn't pointless at all. People don't realise how interesting they are and you only find even more cool shit about a person when they start sharing this stuff. In mine, I share Personal home life, games progress, Fg stuff, etc. You can share what you like. But look at it in a different way Nutty; if you share some of your awesome things you did with your animals it might inspire others to be interested in them and do stuff with animals too. They might get a pet Tortoise, etc. The point is, your voice shouldn't be devalued because you don't say shit on here. The PPR brings lights to your life in a place where I would hope others are all interested in each other, through the good times and the bad times. Do an update. See how you go. Thing is I've never ever said we can't live with just one. The balancing act is spot on, otherwise as we get older its easy to float more apart with other responsibilities in life, etc. In an ideal world i'll gather enough funds to create this place into a proper App which will help and then if we all ended up just one chat App it would be so much easier but you've got to respect how people like different things. I want it to be permanent, clearly youtubers do it fixed time cos they can get the costs down but that doesn't help people like yourself and many others that might want one at any stage. Hell i want more but i'm not ready yet 😅 Unfortnately, costs end up being costs which i spoke about ages ago but I think we just need to start somewhere and see where it goes. Well life hasn't been quite the same this year has it now? It's been a struggle, even for Mr Annoying Positive guy over here. Keeping going mentally is challenging enough in life as it is, let alone more lockdown news across the world. However, I haven't stopped, maybe procrastinated a little too much, but I wanted to report we are getting somewhere. Needless to say I can't do it without you all visiting and popping in, not forgetting our home for which i'm extremely grateful. This could be a long-ish one but it will be worth it so please read all of it! I'll do my best to keep it brief (yeah, okay Lee) and maybe give you some visuals a long the way to make it easier to not switch off 😁 FG Progress Updates We mentioned some months ago here, we (or more so I, with the help of you amazing people) wanted to make a stand and keep things moving where we could to make a difference. I've copied the bits mentioned from the thread and shown any progress next to it: Merchandise Shop - New application purchased for FG so it can support the Merch shop. Early days but you may see that there is a resemblance of a shop on our Home (you can check it out in the menu bar). It needs a lot of fleshing out with way more bits need to be added of course so obviously any ideas of things we should have in there please can you keep them coming. Big shout out to Matty @Misneach_ as he working through to find an american provider so we can get the same or similar designs to save on the postage. FG Points/Gamerscore - This hasn't moved anywhere. Not received any ideas since we raised it and sits lower down the pecking order as it was an added incentive to your daily life at FG. Creating new sections (New entire page spaces for games) - I've started creating a few but obviously need a little more content to get them fully up and running. I'm considering making a few live with bare bones and getting all of you to help flesh them out a bit and offer suggestions on what you think would work best. That way we have something workable ongoing to regularly improve. Destiny and FIFA are a few i'm looking at but there's a lot of work under the hood with the new functionality to get it bang on. Just wanted to show you something to see progress is being made even if it still needs major tweaks and changes: Creating new sections - New homepage - its coming along too. Not too much to giveaway here but I think we need to have a central point for everyone to remember all the other parts of stuff we have fun with too. Work in progress below but getting there...even if it could end up meaning one extra click for some: Expanding existing areas - we now have dedicated forums and discord channels for a few games with also corresponding notifications for those games. You may have seen a few pop up in discord and these should work well with new page spaces if we decide to have them. Guides & Tips section - We haven't received any new updates to it. With Destiny launching soon and with other brand new games as well as existing games starting to get a following (FIFA, 7 Days, etc) it would be good to get a few more up. Re-engaging with old FGers - we've seen a few faces come back, and its nice to see some of the PPRs of old (and new!) being updated. Its just a rubbish time for everyone so reading everyones PPRs, hearing that you're all okay and getting by however you can is really awesome to see. Would love to see more updates and people embrace PPRs more, even if its just to read others and comment on their ones. Its the one big way we can make a difference in such a small amount of effort. Open our doors to new FGers - A few people have graced us with their presence. Awesome thanks to people like Nutty @Nutcuttlit spreading the FG wings out there on all manor of games. When you can, make sure you take the moment to make newer people feel part of the group properly. The more we help each other, the better we'll all feel about stuff going on. Regular gaming nights schedule - We've definitely picked up a few things and I can only see more to come. FIFA Monday Night Football, GT Sport Weekly Races on Tuesdays, 7 Days horde nights every so often, and Destiny Raids have popped up again too. I think what I probably need to do is more simple YouTube explanations on how to set up events, etc as I fear just because I might not be able to turn up or can't make a night doesn't mean we can't make a go of things. We also have to be persistent. If a few times they don't work, you keep trying as the more it becomes force of habit, the more times people will join for fun and good times. Ways to help others (real charity fundraisers starting with charity streams) - I don't think we've managed to find enough time to do these of late which is a shame as its something we could definitely do to support others. I did think about a group Movember even if its 3 days late. Try to get a regular pattern on sending out Feel Good Fund parcels to caring FGers - There's been a few parcels sent out. I haven't updated the thread lately but this probably leads into a time where because this year has an absolute awful one for many, i'm going to try and do what I can to make something happen, starting with the BIG Xmas FGFGF Giveaway. Comms - WhatsApp We clearly still have a major problem with how life is at present, even though we have Discord, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our Home here to keep in touch. Whilst I started many years ago saying it could work, over recent years it proved to get in the way, as it makes us all a little lazy at times. However, with the year we've had, how many people are splintered over all those ways to connect, the inability to help get everyone on one simple chat application AND Sony royally fucking up playstation chat parties, I'm planning on resurrecting one purely for FGers. All I ask is that you don't forget this place as this is our Home. If we don't have a home, FG will splinter and die which we all don't want. Let me know if you want to be part of one and we'll see how it goes. When we seem in a better place in the world we'll see how things lay, like everything here and we can change things around as and when we're at that point. Nope. Every version you buy is cross gen. So a PS4 or PS5 copy will allow you to play with the other Playstation groups. Same for Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Destiny is one game you can use straight away on the PS5 and continue to play with PS4 players.

Yeah, i could. Depends how you see it working though? I was looking into an acca facility where we have a little internal game but It was pretty clear when you watch the documentary when he first needs a new manager what Levy thinks of him. I don't blame him tbh, his trophy record is clear to see. He just needed proper backing, like he got at good ol' Cheatski back in the day.

Everyone will be moved up to 1050 come Nov 10th, regardless if you have bought anything or not. Destiny will start everyone at the same pegging so everyone can basically access nearly all content available. You then work up your Power as you play to access content that is generally harder to get better rewards. Rinse and repeat through the different gamemodes. PvP, PvE, mix of both, etc.

@J4MES OX4D In short, to combat any burnt out feeling i'll try and get both if I can. I'd obviously pick Destiny up ahead of CoD if I can't have both striaght away and thats more down to the variety of stuff to do in the game. I can play PvP like in CoD and thats one element of whats in it, on top of all the other game modes available. I think sometimes expectations of ours are either unrealistic or inaccurate based on what we've been fed before. I was talking to @Plumbers Crack the other night about some of this and how it factually works out in terms of money which gives you some options about what to do, especially on Destiny. I'll use the Destiny Roadmap to explain how that bit works cos I don't think its clear: Note - This roadmap doesn't tell us every bit of detail because they like you to find more bits as you go through the content For Info: Standard Beyond Light Edition £34.99 Standard Edition + Season 12 £42.99 Deluxe Edition £59.99 Yellow = Free to play and doesn't cost anything. Just update your download and you'll access to it. Red = Beyond Light expansion elements - worth £34.99 Blue = Season of the Hunt Content - worth either £8 bought alone with expansion or worth £6.25 if bought in Deluxe edition. There are 4 Seasons due so I'd expect they will last for 3 months each. So whilst £59.99 looks a larger amount, I think it boils down to whether you think the Seasons will be worth it. You could say looking at the above there's only 3 Season elements on the roadmap. They'll likely be some form of playloop with new loot (weapons & armour) to obtain and chase included within it and if you work that out what it essentially costs per month, its £2.08 if its the season pass, £2.67 if bought standalone. For the amount of content you get for that, i'd say its worth a coffee a month based on previous seasons content. However, as theres not much difference between each season cost either bought upfront or just standalone, then I'd say its up to people if its the £42.99 or £59.99 edition they think is worth it considering how Destiny is a game you can come and go back to whenever you want. I think you do get a few extra things like an emote, ghost shell, etc but i'm not classing that in this thought. With Call of Duty the editions are: Standard PS4 edition - £59.99 Cross Gen edition -£64.99 Ultimate Edition - £84.99 Cod is priced higher because its not an expansion, more so a new game. although conveniently its the same price as Destiny's deluxe cost. Cross Gen makes total sense for people with PS4s getting a PS5 as its only a fiver extra. Shame they have to charge an extra fiver as others are giving upgrades for free but here we are. The ultimate edition is £20 extra. That seems to be for these additional items: Woods Operator in MW/WZ AR Weapon Blueprint in MW/WZ Confrontation Weapons Pack Cold War Land, Sea and Air Pack Cold War S1 Battle Pass Bundle Now £20 for a years worth extra cosmetics is down to everyones opinion. Less than £2 a month for extra shiny stuff might not be worth it in some eyes (although Fortnite offer their seasons around similar prices through the year and people buy them like gold dust). However, it looks like you get access to some guns that could make a bit of difference in gameplay to people. As this is all just facts to help people work out if its all worth it, it will also come down to upfront money you have available. Most FGers I would think be on Destiny at some points, however the recent MW shown how many people here still like playing CoD. And that will still be available for us, including the Warzone mode with is F2P. Hope the breakdown helps - be good to know who we've got about around the place come these coming months!
