I recall looking into these a few years ago and one thing I wanted was that it play FLAC files, which is an open source lossless audio format. The files are much bigger than MP3 files, but they're still a lot smaller than uncompressed CD audio but without any loss of fidelity. Gives you a more portable format for your CD collection. Then again if you're buying most of your music online, that doesn't really matter. I just wanted to be able to "archive" my CDs.

I've lost track of how many times I've done it, and I'm more than happy to do it again. Just never again as a level 25 character, that was fucking miserable. Salute to Stretch and Trevor for toughing that one out. It's noticeably easier now with high level gear.

My recollection is that he was banned because a lot of the stuff he posts is not far removed from the go kill a cop crazies that were in the news at the time. A move I agree with, but that's a topic for another day.

Hawkmoon is by all accounts, the best Hand Canon in the game. I would happily trade my soul for it.
As for exclusives in general, I think "timed" exclusives are lame. It's basically company A pays company B to withhold content from company C's consumers. Ghey. Company A should take that money and invest it in making original exclusive content for company A.

Good stuff.
I don't quite get the reasoning behind the Exotic Shard business; I guess it's supposed to make Exotics easier to upgrade? Weapon buffs sound perfect. The nerf to Suros I'm sure is driven by data they have regarding its performance in PvP, so I'll just trust their judgment on that one. I really wish they'd have implemented a system to buy upgrade materials with glimmer, but this is certainly an improvement (though truth be told, I don't mind material farming at all, I actually find it relaxing). I also hope they'll address the non-rotating inventory at all of the faction vendors. There's no reason at all the inventory can't reshuffle occasionally according to the rules they already have in place for drop/gift versions of weapons.
On the whole though, good job Bungie, keep it up.
