You won't regret it. Its the most fun I've had on a game in years. So much to do. I'm sure I'll buy the next CoD but now with Battlefield and all it offers CoD really need to change some things to bring me back to wanting to play it

This game was very gimmicky.  Character customization, "destructible" environments, and "OMG New game types!" - that aren't really new at all. They are just old game types cut in half (Blitz is half of Capture the Flag for example. I'd rather have CTF).  And nobody even bothers to "blow up" the environment anymore anyway. It's not useful. Character customization is just as silly; useless.
 
I'll be buying Bf4 on Ps4 when I get my tax check.

I think the way the product is produced has made the community play less effectively. They have eliminated scorestreaks which has had a detrimental effect on the way some players in certain modes play. KC was brilliant in Black Ops 2 with tags counting towards the killstreak ladder. Now they have removed this; it's brought the killwhores out of the woodwork and combine this with some of the poor and oversized maps; the games don't flow as tidily or enjoyably in my opinion. Treyarch introduced gameplay incentives - rewards for playing the objective which expanded on the traditional gunplay elements which was a very welcome addition and helped boost weaker plays also. I am still wracking my brain as to why Infinity Ward didn't take this essential concept forward.  
 
I enjoyed Ghosts at first but for me; they have omitted too many features and the game hasn't moved on in what was supposed to be a next gen outing. On PC; this game looks as poor as MW2 and worse than BFBC2 from 2009 and it just doesn't have the nice design touches or innovation Treyarch has brought previously.  The removal of gameplay elements has brought this game back into the 'noob' generation which I thought we left behind years ago.

Well isn't it interesting that they limit the maps on Cranked (because they know they are so big, you'll be running around trying to find someone and run out of cranked time before doing so).  Take a note developers, other game modes aren't fun for the SAME reason!

Would be good if the dlc had some smaller maps and less cluttered, the game really needs some more maps to replace some of the original maps that I refuse to play when playing solo.
Never known a COD with so many crappy maps at release

I didn't know we had a Steam Forever Gaming community.  I need to check that out.    

Torchlight II is F2P this weekend and back to £3.74 in the sale until Sunday. I have got Diablo III installed now but won't start it until probably Sunday. 

This game is the #1 reason I wanted a Next Gen console.  However, it looks like we might be waiting a long time

Ubisoft debuted gameplay for its upcoming open world, massively multiplayer shooter, The Division, last year during E3 with a projected release date of 2014. According to rumors from a source inside Ubisoft, 2014 is a fantasy.
"The game engine works well, it's not done but works well. The actual game development has barely started, however," a Ubisoft source told GameReactor. "The fact that Ubisoft has gone public with a 2014 release date feels laughable to be perfectly honest, we will never be able to release The Division this year. It's a large project, and we have very far to go."
Is this a case of Ubisoft teasing way too soon? After E3 there was even a petition to get The Division ported to PC since it will be a Tom Clancy title and a successor to a no-longer in development PC series. Or is it that Ubisoft has overextended itself? Late last year both Watch Dogs and The Crew, two large next-gen titles were pushed until 2014, perhaps this is just the ripple effect of those other major games getting delayed.
So if you were like me, very hyped about division, hold up and sate your appetite with this delicious gameplay from E3 2013, for the next...year.

I had the good fortune to win tickets for the West Ham vs. Liverpool F.A. cup final at Cardiff. Really good game with one BIG downside..... we were in with the West Ham supporters. The only song they know is bloody "Bubbles" and they kept singing it over and over and over again!
 
They get all they deserve, especially having that plank Allardyce as their manager!!

I know, it's shocking in this day and age that people can be so effing stupid.
 
It's not that difficult to read, digest and find things out.... but it seems too much trouble for some.

I swear the DayZ community on Steam is more immature and stupid than the idiots that plague the official Call of Duty one. There is about 16,500 threads on the board and every time a new one is upped; you refresh and it's down to page 4. About 2,000 were regarding the issues from the other day and all practically the same! Needs moderation desperately.

Well we were pretty poor again last night but it doesn't help when a free kick get awarded as a penalty, it was clearly outside the box but hey. We really need a big result against Swansea on Saturday!!
