  1. Demo is live now Fair play for them for doing it but I probably wont play it this way. These newer ones were intended for first person so it'll probably seem a bit weird. Certainly looks like a mod from what I've seen of ti but it still works well.
  2. Done a few missions of the campaign and haven't really enjoyed it so far. Actually I'd say it's very frustrating on veteran and some of the early missions are incredibly generic and boring. Cutscenes look great but it's a very typical story we've seen a million times over in COD. Hopefully it'll improve but it's nothing we haven't played before and the AI along with mission design is very lackluster although some of the visuals are impressive. Veteran is brutally unfair - it's not difficult, it just feels broken. Too many times enemies pop out of nowhere or skip multiple frames to kill you in one hit. They can pre-fire through any surface too. So many trial and error occurrences. Missions also seem pretty short. Hopefully things will begin to improve but the first 3 were nothing short of dreadful.
  3. 49% from PC Gamer Gotham Knights review | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM A misguided action game that can't let go of the past. 5/10 from IGN Gotham Knights Review - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Poor combat and grueling progression drag this co-op Batman adventure down. 4/10 from Gamespot Gotham Knights Review - Knightfall - GameSpot WWW.GAMESPOT.COM Gotham Knights takes the Arkham blueprint and reimagines it as a loot-brawler, often feeling similar, but where it's different, it's worse.
  4. Really not sure about Bloober Team making this. Seems Konami have been inspired by Capcom and the Resident Evil reboot for a bit of a cash grab using a third party developer. Silent Hill 2 is a great game and I played the Enhanced version on PC a few months back but I'm really not sure if these developers will be able to pull it off with much conviction.
  5. What an absolute joke! Horizon Zero Dawn PlayStation 5 remaster reportedly in the works WWW.EUROGAMER.NET New reports claim a remaster of Guerrilla's Horizon Zero Dawn is currently in the works for the PS5. Originally reveale… We already have a perfectly good PS5 version that offers both resolution and performance modes with the latter maintaining 60fps and the former at 4K/30. Do we really need a £60/$70 'upgrade' of a 2017 game that will waste 2-3 years of development time!?? Looks like Guerrilla are out of ideas after Forbidden West and are playing it safe. This is yet another joke commissioning from Sony and a complete waste of all-round resources.
  6. For £40 more you can get an Xbox Series S😂 Sony could've literally made SCUF obsolete and put them halfway out of business overnight but instead they've decided to put their prices in-line with them which is a farcical market justification. These controllers have insane margins so I can see why the likes of Sony drive profits through peripherals but at this rate it's taking the piss and will probably put more people off, and put their current position in the market even more questionable. The build quality on the DS4 was also pretty shit and MIcrosoft's very own Elite controllers have been known break quite easily so I'd want at least a 2 year warranty laying down this much money on just a bloody glorified pad. Sony have so far managed to tick every box on how to fuck up so far. Just need to charge £2000 for PSVR2 and then they've completed the set.
  7. It's basically an app update but it replaces the typical auth and instead just provides a one-touch login inside the app which then auto logs you in on desktop after you've entered your account name and password. This is why I will never have an email box on my iPhone because you can't sign out of that either and if your phone is swiped and the thieves have access to your home screen, they have all your email too which literally controls everything. The app pretty much mimics the entire client functionality so they've really shot themselves in the foot especially with removing the 2FA concept on it.
  8. Splinter Cell Remake director leaves after 11 years Splinter Cell remake director leaves Ubisoft | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM David Grivel said it's time for "a new adventure." I don't know what's going on at Ubisoft but they seem to be stalling or neglecting what fans want, cancelling all their original projects and desperately rehashing old brands. Whole company is a joke just like Blizzard have been for the past decade. Why anyone would want to work there I don't know.
  9. Game currently in the sale at £1.46 Save 30% on Save Room - Organization Puzzle on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM When you enter a save room you know you are safe, no danger can come to you, you can relax. Take advantage of this short period of time to organize your inventory, heal your wounds and reload your... I've grabbed it and done about 10 levels and it's brilliant!
  10. Valve have released their updated app and it's a complete disgrace. They've replaced the non-login required authenticator and changed it to a blanket app with far more functionality. However this has proven to be a catastrophic security risk because you can't ever log out of the app which means anyone that swipes your phone can have unrestricted access to your Steam account which completely negates and deflates the purpose of 2FA. It's the equivlanent of buying a safe or lock box for your house that doesn't have a lock or a door and then the burden being placed on the user not to have their front door key swiped, house burgled or key misplaced. This really is shocking incompetence and users are now forced to be logged in to the app at all times for no logical reason. It's turned into 1-factor auth without any code requirement. The beauty of the normal app was you didn't have to be logged in to obtain a code which made it extremely secure. The safest way on the platform now is actually email guard and that was supposed to be outdated in 2015! I can only assume Valve have hired some an incompetent third party company because this is a totally out of character move. If it's done by intent then it has to be seen as them inflating store-wide engagement figures. No other explanation really. Feedback is coming in thankfully so all we can hope for is it gets patched or rolled back.
  11. More info can be found in this video - seems they were determined to cover this up right until launch but a private Discord post leaked System requirements look insanely high for 1080p on PC so I'm expecting a bad port and it defies belief there is forced ray tracing on console but no graphical options. The Arkham games were amazing at 60fps+ with incredibly fluid combat but in Gotham it looks very janky. Visually Arkham Knight is still way better looking and far more immersive. People didn't buy into next gen for this.
  12. We have the Dead Space Remake coming and then this - literally look the same game! I probably wont pick this one up though as the people working on it are absolute twats aka Glen Schofield for one.
  13. Very bad news and pretty unacceptable really Gotham Knights Will Only Run at 30 FPS and Will Offer No Performance Mode on Consoles - IGN WWW.IGN.COM When Gotham Knights arrives on consoles on October 21, it will do so with no performance mode and it will run at... Game hasn’t wowed much in the press builds either but this news could be the icing on the cake for the game to flop spectacularly. This is an instant no buy now for me.
  14. I've had a brief look at what it offers and it seems to lack depth in key areas compared to other sports management games like FM and OOTP.
  15. Some seriously mixed reviews with this one. Looks great and has an interesting atmosphere but the combat and mechanics seem a bit clunky plus the lack of a decent save system seems to be infuriating many. Seems if you die, you can be set back 10-20 minutes and have to redo some incredibly slow and frustrating moments. Not sure I have the desire to play something like this really.
  16. Campaign releases this time next week. Still really unsure about picking this up although I would like to play the story.
  17. There really isn't any good parties. Truss was voted in as a money-grabber because they know they will lose the next general election. Labour are in a strong position but that's more down to the Tories - this time last year Starmer was facing strong resignation calls and was the second most unpopular leader in the party's history. This recent rise is not much of his own doing but more down to the Tory downfall. Labour is still embroiled in racism, anti-seminism and misconduct and even though the media will neglect to run stories on most of this, it's still out there. 2 whips removed in 3 weeks, 7 more under investigation and about another 5 on suspension. Hardly encouraging opposition. The fringe parties are a joke and are only focused on their crusades and are anti-democratic to anything else - the Lib Dems certainly to not live up to the name. I think the whole government framework in the UK is outdated and it should be a one-party collective. Just like councils, it's all too fragmented.
  18. She's sacked Kwasi Kwateng and done a full 180 on her budget🤣 What a pair of muppets! Still trying to fathom why they voted her in as this was widely predicted especially by Sunak.
  19. I also completely forgot that my Gamestation back in the mid-2000's used to also sell some rare stuff in its cabinets - not sure where it was sourced from and I can't remember if it was all pre-owned or new stuff but there was some games and collectables that you just would not see anywhere at retail even at their main company GAME. Not sure if this was at every branch but it was certainly an eye opener away from the run of the mill usual stock.
  20. Darkwood FREE on Epic https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/darkwood-fa73bd and this https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/toejam-and-earl-back-in-the-groove-cddc16 Until the 20th
  21. I did think about putting Gamestation but it arrived late in my city and when it did, it was 2 doors away from GAME yet they were both owned by the same company😂 Here is the one and only pic of our one. Did buy some things from there around 2005ish and it did have a bumper selection but it was just weird with it being so close to GAME and less vibrant inside. I loved Blockbusters but didn't buy much in the way of games there because it was a bit risky - a couple of times I got burned with discs that didn't work properly and it was a nightmare to convince the staff that I wasn't pulling a fast one. Most of the 'second' hand games had probably gone through 10+ users before they went on sale for a pre-owned rate you could've got elsewhere at a similar price. They were godly for VHS and DVD's though!
