Any VPN can do this pretty much but as 99% of COD content creators are sponsored by them and Activision runs their tournaments using these big brands, nothing will happen. The genuine community have presented them all the raw API data which tracks lobbies but neither the developers nor Activision remotely care about players using backdoor methods. Instead of Activision taking this matter seriously and siding with players who make them billions per quarter, they tried to close off the OpenAPI framework and DMCA users who were revealing the public information on top which is quite frankly disgraceful. It's nothing more than a cover-up with extreme legal threats against users exposing corrupt methods used.
Even reverse boosting has been removed as an offence it seems - I personally think reverse boosting is worse as that has a detrimental effect on legitimate lower-skilled players whereas VPN users only affect paid actors. There was other cases where big names such as Ninja and TimTheTwatMan were bribing other players via CashApp not to kill them mid-game so they could win side bets which means they are essentially match fixing for huge monetary gain. Yet the community are held to the strictest standards with conduct and matchmaking. If you have tits or 250,000 subscribers, you can get away with anything Twitch-style.
The underlying corruption in this franchise is insane really and there is more dirt that will come out on how honest players are affected. Skill-based hit registration is the next big buzzword that will soon be talked about yet still wont bother the majority of players even though their experience is being deliberately trashed through crooked means.
