  1. Great news for the shareholders but that means nothing to the gamers. We hear it every year - ''X game has broken X records and exceeded expectations blah blah and continues to be enjoyed daily by X amount of players blah blah blah with a total of 358728953247592758 bullets being fired waffle waffle waffle we made more than last quarter blady blady blah'' Also of course there is an increase this quarter just gone - the last two were at the tail end of Vanguard on its last legs and when Warzone was fizzling out. The release quarter is always going to bring a huge spike and even corporates surely can work that basic trend out. The fact they've stopped releasing the concurrent active users per game is the most telling part. There probably is considerable panic behind the scenes with MW2 and its ongoing reception but the only way they are going to assure gamers of its true sustainability is by providing content and a clear forwarding roadmap. They can reassure the money men every 3 months that things are going well and will get even better but it's us gamers that deserve to know where the game stands. If games were measured on quarterly success then Diablo Immortal would've been the 3rd best game of 2022.

  5. Remaster releasing next week I never got the original from Sierra because I was mostly playing Age of Empires 2 and Civilization 3 back then but this looks really decent. Anyone have this classic back in the day?
  6. I love how the site is now being used so people can track which streamer is playing the game so they can go watch, follow and even sub to them. Love it when a plan backfires🤣 It's quite a sensational turn of events really - an extremist feminist now being targeted by other extremists wanting to be what she is but is currently who she despises. I do think a lot of it is taken out of proportion especially when you have further clowns like Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe worsening the tensions online but the trans community really don't help themselves with their approach consisting of positioning themselves as the victim but also making outlandish threats. Really not the way to endear to others especially when they wont listen to others and are too busy trying to 'cancel' people who don't share their way of thinking. What goes around comes around for poor old JK!
  7. Yep, basically people are boycotting the game who weren't going to get it anyway🤣 There's gonna be people seething on Twitter tonight after this game has reviewed well so I can't wait to see that
  8. EA also cancelled Apex Legends single player last week so the chances of us getting a new Titanfall is also dead in the water. A new Battlefield wont be here until 2025 and there's more chance of Black Ops Cold War getting more content this year than Modern Warfare 2. It's such a shame publishers wont commission FPS games much these days due to competitors yet competition is what this industry needs.
  9. This has now been picked up by the mainstream which wont bode well for the game here The Day Before trainwreck continues with accusations it's copied other game trailers | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM "The Day Before is the epitome of 'Can I copy your homework?'"
  10. Pretty ironic seeing that Mark Rubin was the one that took away everything people enjoyed about golden age COD and gave us Ghosts instead with fish AI being his proudest achievement🤣 Anyhow, I'm glad the game is still in development and hasn't been yet another cancellation from Ubisoft. I'm really not sure if the brand is strong enough to capture a decent audience though and no matter how much people hate COD, they will always play that over games that offer a far better experience because it's cawl of dooty and they enjoy being screwed year in year out. Too many of these classic-style FPS games have failed already though and Ubisoft's internal IP's aren't as popular as they think they are to form a game like this. I just hope they can strike while the iron is hot because MW2 is literally edging towards life support on a 2 year cycle and people aren't shying away from shunning games. A good alternative is desperately needed.
  11. Watch them get a £500,000 fine and a 1pt deduction suspended for a year Manchester City charged with breaking financial rules by Premier League - BBC Sport WWW.BBC.CO.UK The Premier League charges Manchester City with more than 100 breaches of its financial rules following a four-year investigation. Be interesting to see if the EPL and UEFA actually follow through or if they will let them get away with cheating for more than a decade. Only the Italian FA have the balls to take severe action against their own top teams.
  12. Good reviews coming in and currently 86 on Metacritic. Looks like it will live up to the huge interest it generated which is fantastic!
  13. Gears of War - Xbox 360 (2006)
  14. There's taking ideas and references and then there is straight up ripping everything. All the stuff in the trailer(s) can be bought off the shelf from Unreal as it is so from what's been showcased then and up to their 'gameplay extravaganza' is nothing original or of their own creation which is absolutely damning. The good news is that people aren't falling for it like they would've 5+ years ago and be blinded by hype.
  15. LMAO Funny how they’ve only done this after being exposed for saying this
  16. Netflix are adding new terms to crack down on password sharing which essentially locks the account down to the owners very own home. Also if you don't log into your account for more than 31 days, you and hour household will be blocked from the service even if you were away on vacation or have some other circumstance for not using it within this time. If you want to use the service whilst out and about, you have to contract Netflix to receive a one-time code for another fixed location (not device) i.e a hotel when away from home. This would also be limited so if you are on holiday and go between two locations, you can only activate the account in one place. Whilst I understand password sharing to be a big problem (est 100m people exploiting) this is not the answer and it could cause dire inconvenience to existing genuine customers. Those 100m or so users who are accessing it through sharing will not magically turn into subscribers - they will be lucky to capture 1% and will probably drive away a lot more from their current subscribers. Not sure what the best solution would be but what they've pitched has to be the worst for everybody.

  18. She was very upset but it was quite hard to work out whether it was because her marriage was going tits up because hubby has a fetish for two of her friend's, or it just being down to the potential significant loss of their income which probably spans tens of thousands a month. Her being in the apology video in the background just added a whole new dose of cringe.
  19. The point that a lot of these YouTubers are making is that DKOldies claim they clean and/or refurbish the consoles which justifies their 3X cost price compared to rivals and the general market, yet in many cases including normal customers, there is huge evidence that they do not always do this and in some, the machines are internally damaged on top. They make all these TikTok's showing the utmost care and attention to these alleged orders yet what people receive and the way it's delivered is literally taking the piss. YouTuber's can burn money on things like this for videos but if you were a normal person that spent $450 on a classic Xbox that was delivered in a bashed up box with the console protected by bog roll and the machine wasn't cleaned or even tested, then you'd feel very hard done by, bordering on scammed. There's not many places you can buy machines safely, especially with places that offer a comprehensive 'specialist' service and guarantee so when they start half-arsing it or not doing things by their book and charging triple, it's kinda sad.
  20. A huge missed opportunity once again from the devs seems to be the wider consensus and even more doubts arising as to whether they actually have a 'game' - we've already seen these environments for a good two years now and most of the assets seem to have been purchased from Unreal and have been available since 2014. They barely showed off the combat or the mechanics as a whole - what about cover, mantling and what is the actual purpose of the game? Is it like The Division or DayZ? Simple questions and nearly 4 years on we still don't have answers. All we've really seen is a stock character parading through an environment. Didn't look all that scripted but footage seemed very safe and lacking depth. No driving gameplay either which is a huge selling point for this game. Any credible dev would have provided several independent gameplay videos showcasing many scenarios and mechanics. Shouldn't be too hard for them to fire up the latest build and do a step by step walkthrough. It's taken 14 months of persistent badgering just to get them to release this 10 minute video and even then it seemed to be asking too much of them. They've had a couple of significant titles and have been around for many years. What hasn't helped is their backseat approach plus their shady nature. They originated in Russia but then backdoor-relocated to Singapore not so long ago. Nobody can identify the dev team apart from a couple of local faces fronting them and most of their funding comes from a 3rd party company with a large pot to burn. They've certainly bitten off more than then can chew with this game and their approach to the community leaves a lot to be desired but they certainly aren't the little unknown developer with a big potential hit that they want people to believe. If they put together a more constructive promotion of the game then it would really put a lot of concerns to bed for the time being.
  21. Actually resembles a game but I’m still taking it all with a pinch of salt. Until there’s an independent hands-on, I’m gonna sit back but it defies belief how it’s taken all that’s happened just to get to this stage
  22. It definitely wouldn't have blown up had it not been for the fact it was literally his close colleagues, best friend's girlfriend and the fact he actually registered and paid for the material and being married. The painful excuse did not help either. I do think some of the victims are milking it to a degree but I can't speak for how they feel about the situation. If the guy was simply looking at deepfakes of celebs and got caught then it would be embarrassing but forgotten about the next day. He should've just come clean and could've even bit back a bit cos half the people on the list literally get their boobs out to minors on stream and are an inch away from having an OnlyFans on the side as it is.
