Just had 3 games and it's pretty good. Controls are much looser than in FIFA 14, players are more mobile and matches seem quicker like in FIFA 13 but not too fast. Goalkeepers have been improved significantly but refs still shite. The player mechanics are still a bit wobbly but the games seem to flow better. FIFA 14 was just a bit too slow and robotic at times particularly with the lower teams. The presentation has been upped and the atmosphere has improved. The one thing I didn't like was the highlights which have gone cinematic for some reason. Overall, good stuff though and I can't wait to get this in a couple of weeks.

The DLC for me has been hit and miss in all the packs. I seem to find one really good map, one good, one bad and one that is so bad I never play it. The last one was a prime example with Propaganda being probably the best in the game and possibly in the whole series and then you have the Sunken Dragon which has to be one of the worst! I do have high hopes for this one though and the maps look very varied indeed.

QPR due a monster fine for breaching the FFP rules. About £54m. If they don't pay; they get a Football League ban apparently. Further proof that the FFP rules are a joke in Europe. They shouldn't have been allowed back into the Prem until they cleared the debt last time they were there. They even breached the rules to get into the Prem last time financially and in terms of eligibility. To make matters worse; they have Harry Redknapp in the crows nest now and you know what that bent tosser is like with money.

Phuket, I can't wait much longer. It's available to download on PC so I'll give it a go and let you know how it plays

Good effort from Scotland in the end. Portugal 0-1 Albania made me chuckle! Gibraltar lost 7-0 against Poland but both Northern Ireland and Rep Ireland did well.

Germany 1-0 Scotland half time. Germany 5-0 Brazil halt time. Scotland = better than Brazil.

I enjoyed the beta but I'm gonna hold back and wait to see if it stands the test of time. Got too much on regarding work and other commitments so wont have the adequate time to play. Also the strict conditions of Raids is just a bit alienating for what was something I was particularly interested in. If this is still lively after the Advanced Warfare launch; I'll probably have a gander sometime after Christmas. ^Agree with Jonny above - end of 2013 and 2014 so far has been appalling for games. I think Destiny is the first of a long line of good games on the horizon so things will definitely pick up on here and in gaming in general.

Michael Condrey has confirmed on Twitter that Field Orders will NOT be returning in AW! Fucking brilliant news!!. Probably one of the worst implementations in any COD game. Who seriously thought it would be a good idea to potentially give someone a KEM or OP killstreak reward within the first minute of the game for doing sod all, such as tea-bagging the enemy? Dumbest and most stupidest idea ever. Sledgehammer are nailing this. -
That's a fair point. Not sure of the reasons as to why he didn't see him but obviously wasn't enough to convince them not to prosecute. Tragic situation all round

Ah yes it was careless. The site I read the story on initially, stated it was 'dangerous' but I've looked elsewhere and it seems the guy did admit to the lesser charge after simply 'not seeing the motorcyclist'. This possibly warranted the conviction of careless because a witness behind the car did see the motorcyclist from further away. If the driver saw the rider but believed he had enough time to cross based on the premise that he assumed the cyclist was in the speed limit; charges against him may have been dropped. Still harsh to be convicted in such circumstances as the bike was solely the aggravating factor.

Hate international breaks especially so early in the season! Switzerland v England Monday and I couldn't care less.
