Agree Tommy. Since MW3, I've just found the pacing in COD to be too fast and frantic and most tactics go out the window. If you have a good connection; it's too easy to dominate especially in CQC. I miss the old days especially the Treyarch ones with the map variety from small to extra large. Even the bigger maps on the likes of Black Ops worked really well in all modes as the way they designed seemed to centralise the action into key areas without the matches being too cramped or pacey. Seems COD is more influenced by eSports these days though despite only 0.5% of players having a dedicated interest. The ES structure and demands I just don't like and it feels the fun has been zapped out of the series. I'd love to see Treyarch bring COD back to a mainstream mentality and it would be great to see a wealth of varied maps of different sizes and styles.

I was once mesmerised by The Division but it'll probably turn out to be a bag of shite. I'm expecting a terrible server service, downgraded visuals, upscaled textures removed, bland gameplay and Ubisoft's usual ethos of shitty game design.

Have you tried the Far Cry 4 game hub discussions on Steam yet? http://steamcommunity.com/app/298110/discussions/Worth a look and in most cases particularly with cunts like Ubishaft; you'll get more sense and help out of the community than the game staff themselves!

I hope so but at this present time only the PS3 version has a physical copy and that's for Asia only. The current import price for the multi-language version with RE branding as opposed to Biohazard is £129.99 Certainly makes the £16 digital copies look a much more attractive purchase I really hope they do box it like we saw with Minecraft going from digital to physical but I wouldn't expect it anytime soon sadly.

The Samsung 40 inch 5000 TV is a great price at £279 which is £200 cheaper than what it was in the summer. I have the SmartTV equivalent for £350 and it's great!

It's weird but I always end up playing HC mode in Treyarch games. Dunno if it's down to the bad bullet detection or poorer connection in their games but I always end up in HC modes and it's always fantastic.

Really enjoyed the Wimbledon v Liverpool game tonight! Cracking FA Cup tie throughout and the Wombles gave the Reds a hell of a run the whole game and created lots of good chances. 1-2 but could have easily ended up 3-4.

I'm kinda glad this game isn't easy to get streaks like previous COD's but I can't get over the amount of times you can be screwed over with spawns or getting killed from behind. Momentum is a good mode for streak-building but its also a playlist that can provide some horrific inconsistencies and kick in the teeth moments. I haven't seen one DNA in a match yet but it doesn't feel players are really bothered going for it. There are loads of videos on YouTube showcasing players getting a double DNA bomb but its gameplays like this now that don't even raise an eyebrow these days. I suppose you just gotta keep trying and finding that perfect lobby of useless players and have an incredible amount of luck regarding enemy spawns. Definitely worth checking out the existing DNA videos to see how people are earning them with class setups and in which modes.

Fans have already filed a missing persons report I think Gerrard should probably depart from the premiership altogether and look abroad especially in the MLS as I don't think he'd cut another season at the English top-level. Lampard, even at 36 seems to handle himself and his fitness/fatness extremely well and could probably stay at Man City for the whole of next season too. Gerrard just seems to be struggling with the demands of the Prem now and he's struggling to deliver the standard of workrate he's best known for.

MOTD is going to be crazy later! According to the running order; the fourth match in contains 6 goals whereas normally the ones down the pecking order are usually a 1-1, 1-0 or 0-0. I just hope they have enough time to cram in all the entertainment - if I were the BBC; I wouldn't even bother showing the Villa game

The engine is actually from 1999 by ID Tech and is a Quake III mod. It's just been re-written countless times. AW actually is running of the IW3 engine used in Ghosts which is also just a modified version of the one first seen in COD 4 back in 2007. I actually think SHG did well getting so much out of such a stale piece of kit with AW as I really thought IW had taken the tech as far as they could with Ghosts but certainly the current COD engine is being stretched to hell and it'll soon be holding back the franchise on a very noticeable level. Hopefully Activision will invest in the new Unreal 4 engine whatever the cost because if they don't; come 2019 when these current consoles cycle ends; COD will look and feel extremely past it.

P2P as in Peer-to-peer. It's actually insulting that a brand of this magnitude still utlises this over dedicated servers considering the money it generates per user. They have several branches of them probably being saved for League Play but this on top of SBMM is just unworkable and inexcusable. I remember the days playing Quake III on Dreamcast with 100,000+ others and dedicated servers.

Although the exo movement is pretty well implemented and a welcome change in AW; I don't think I could tolerate another COD like this anytime soon or a futuristic one once again. We've had 3 future-based games on the spin and I'm finding the franchise getting more tedious by the release. AW is a great game and probably the best since BO1 but my interest is waning big time of late and I'm completely tired of the same old BS associated with the games. Lag, P2P, host migrations, weapon balancing, glitches, campers etc... it's all there still even with a 3 year cycle. I'm really pinning my faith in Treyarch next year and hope they do an old-skool WAW2 or something in between both the Black Ops titles. It'll probably be my last COD ever as the shitty IW and Ghosts 2 wouldn't interest me after that. If it's BO3 and its futuristic again; I really couldn't give a toss even if I do respect Treyarch and the work they've done over the years. COD also feels really dumbed-down in recent installments and the exo movement and no-recoil weapons just make things so piss-easy, it doesn't feel challenging or satisfying anymore. If AW happened 3 years ago it would be one of the best in the series but COD is getting really stale for me even though AW is a perfectly good attempt by SHG.

It's quite difficult to say because Sledgehammer have been tweaking and nerfing the weapons for fun ever since release but as said above, the AR's are the force in this game. The best weapons are usually found from Supply Drops as their attributes differ from the regular weapons. I have an HBRa3 Elite which has +2 more damage that it's counterpart which was already overpowered in its own right so the elite gun is pretty much unstoppable. I haven't played since the BAL 27 was adjusted but that weapon was the 'Famas' equivalent in AW and even nerfed; it still is OP apparently.
