  1. How is Attila Jordie?
  2. Advanced Flawfare is free to play on Schteem this weekend
  3. 6.5 on IGN http://uk.ign.com/articles/2015/02/19/the-order-1886-review 5.0 on Gamespot http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/the-order-1886-review/1900-6416033/ Well that's disappointing. I'll probably try and borrow it from a friend at some stage for a weekend regardless.
  4. Cannot wait to see this pricks identified and shamed worldwide! Ironically they are probably Chelsea season ticket holders and are most likely held in the utmost respect on the Chelsea fan database. So many Chelsea fans always give it large overseas and I'm glad finally some of them have been exposed for what they truly are. This goes for many other English clubs as they take their Brit tourists abroad to 'take over' a hosting city. Many clubs in the Prem are ignorant, naive and oblivious to some of the shenanigans going on overseas from their fans and it takes an incident like this to draw in their rare attention. Even a few massive Chelsea fans I know say some of their supporters are massive bellends and only come out of the woodwork 12 years ago
  5. AKA Afroman - cracking performance up until this happened:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ2u94YaDK0

  7. I'm quite looking forward to the soaps this week with the 'who killed Lucy Beale' nonsense coming to a head with a live episode Friday. Peggy Mitchell returns tonight even though she left the series years ago...permanently and despite making a couple of appearances since. I just hope someone botches the live show as that would be hilarious and even more satisfying than the killer being revealed My money is on Lauren though especially the way the recent episodes have been deflected away from her. Also the fact Jacqueline Jossa is pregnant in real life and is likely to leave just suggests that it will be pinned on her and she'll go on the run from the square when found out. I might be wrong but that is probably logical. Shame to lose Lauren if it goes this way as she is pretty bang tidy
  8. If it's on a GAME gift card; you can use that online but only when the game is released because they don't accept payment by gift cards on pre-order items which is fecking annoying.
  9. I haven't actually tried it yet either but I've heard from others that it is excellent. The MP is not so good apparently but you can actually do the entire campaign with up to 4 players co-op which is a fantastic offering. Players can apparently drop in and out when they like and can either finish missions solo or join/invite friends to do so.
  10. Haha excellent video Dave Nice use of the Mastercard banner to fully capture the Champions League autheticity Yep! The only ref in football history to be more of a legend than many players - he's a CL icon!
  11. I finished it the other day and I definitely think it's the best game that's come out for a very long time and one that has surprised me greatly. It took about 45 hours to reach the conclusion and I still have another 15 probably on side quests. The mechanics are incredibly well implemented and make for an astonishingly enjoyable experience throughout. I don't think I've played a game for years where the fun has been maintained to such a high standard all the way through. It's a bit of a shame the story is a bit weak and the characters are largely forgettable as if they had a powerful narrative with a strong cast; this would have been breaching the masterpiece barrier. Great to see so many people enjoying it and anyone that hasn't got it yet should really pick it up when they get a chance. It's worth every penny even at full-whack!
  12. I just think value for money should be championed as a criteria for overall quality rather than just what's on offer in the time you play. I have certainly played my fair share of shorter games in the past and have really enjoyed them but I guess I just expect more bang for my buck these days. I played and finished Heavy Rain a few years ago when I borrowed my mates PS3 and it was a great experience and a one of a kind game that just had that something special in terms of the concept and movie-style presentation. I think I got about 12 hours out of it and that would be an exception if I did pay the full £30 price tag at the time but a game like The Order that has been developed for 5 years, had a nine-figure production value and can only muster a duration lasting one sitting in some instances; it just seems lackluster for 2015. I think value for money will certainly be something of a major consideration before people purchase and how the mainstream will judge the game.
  13. I pretty much operate on a £1 = 1 hour ratio when it comes to games and nowadays I don't look at games on overall quality, but what they actually over in terms of value for money. I bought Dying Light a few weeks back for £30 and got a return of 45 hours on campaign completion and I can still see another 15 hours left on side quests and achievements. I think that's a fantastic return for my money and the fact the game is of a very impressive quality is a massive bonus on top. I recently saw feedback of The Order 1886 from a YouTube uploader who got the game early. He was quite damning about the game as he finished it in just over 5 hours with key cutscenes also included in the time. For a game that took 5 years to produce and a cost of £50 to the player; this is a pitiful return for the game in lasting quality and value for money. It makes you wonder why they bothered producing the title. It equates to £10 an hour for the gamer and 1 year of development = 1 hour of gameplay. Pretty pathetic really especially with today's high expectations. I look back at the older Call of Duty titles and for £40 on each title; I probably had 500 hours of entertainment on each, so I had no concerns stumping up for the DLC as it was essentially bought and paid for and would give even more hours on top. Destiny may have been ridiculed in the media and I don't own the game but for £40 and the additional content; if you get 100 hours out of the product minimum, that is a bloody decent purchase regardless of any issues associated with it. I see people moan about games like DayZ who have 600+ hours on record all for just £20 and they still feel ripped off and letdown. That's kinda sad and maybe they should look at the bigger picture on how much they can get out of a game based on what they've financially committed to it. I once blew £7.49 (half price) on a game called Gone Home which I finished in 58 minutes - I felt robbed that I wasted my money and felt devastated for the people that spent £15 on it full price. This didn't stop IGN giving it a 9.5 as they failed to take into consideration the longevity and replayability. It's the type of game you only visit once and in one sitting so whether you spent £7.49 or £15 on it; the return rate is despicable. In this graphics-emphasised era of gaming; it seems so many developers have forgot to give us worthwhile games that represent a worthy purchase. It doesn't matter how good a game looks if it has no meat to it and with the lavish prices we have to pay; I think value for money is something that needs to be highlighted more than visuals and gameplay within the few hours on offer in certain titles. I can also spend £3.50 every 30 minutes down the pub and have a headache the next day so really; if a game can offer a lasting experience; I'd trump this aspect ahead of other criterias that may overlook value at the end of the day.
  14. I've just seen a few walkthroughs of the game from people who picked it up early and apparently you can finish it in 5 hours and the game is riddled with quick-time events and cutscenes. I seriously don't know why developers use quick-time events as they are painfully boring and 5 years of development for 5 measly hours is pretty crap in all honesty. At £50; not great value for money. After paying £30.80 for Dying Light and have had 45 hours out of it so far; that's a great return and what should be expected of all games these days.
  15. Dunno if anyone saw but Ubishafted confirmed yesterday that The Division will be released THIS year along with RB6 Siege and AC Victory. I expect we'll start seeing an aggressive promotional push of The Division in the coming months along with a centerpiece exhibit at E3. Really didn't think it would be out in 2015 as information and footage has been rather sparse but assuming there are no Watch Dogs-style delays; it'll be interesting to see if it can live up to its early hype.
  16. New trailer out today Cannot wait for this game! The scale is going to be amazing
  17. Woman aboard a plane orders flight to return to airport after being served nuts in a bag instead of a bowl. She was jailed for 1 year for her actions http://news.sky.com/story/1426058/korean-air-executive-jailed-over-nut-rage She must be 'nuts'; excuse the pun
  18. Yep! Grabbed the first two from Bundlestars last year. Didn't get Clear Sky though as I heard it wasn't as good but I may grab it if I can pick it up on its own. Cracking deal for those games though and I'm sure a few who haven't got them will be very interested
  19. Lambert sacked from Villa. No surprise there really. Team scores about 2 goals every 6 games and he decides to send Darren Bent on loan!
  20. Really good midweek sale on Steam at the minute called 'Mystery Midweek' - plenty of old-skool adventure and mystery titles along with a few new ones and classics. Picked up Gemini Rue yesterday which is supposed to be incredible
  21. Old thread resurrected http://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic/946-favorite-video-game-music/?hl=soundtrack#entry28693
  22. Cannot believe Activision will charge $4.99 for the Atlas Gorge Map! It's a great addition to the core playlist but the price is a kick in the teeth. Nuketown 2025 and Free Fall were free a few months after release but this microtransaction is taking the piss.
  23. Championship is really entertaining at the moment and it'll be interesting to see if Bournemouth can maintain their place at the top as the season progresses. They've definitely impressed this year with some massive wins and a quality team. Derby have a cracking squad with considerable depth so they'll be prime contenders for a return. Middlesbrough have played some incredible football from what I've seen on the TV and they are another team that are right up there for a return. You can't even discount the chasing pack especially at this stage of the season. This shocked me earlier http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31359331
  24. Harry Kane on the left... ...
  25. Kowloon was amazing for Domination! My first match on there we won 200-199 and I went 49-39 or summat crazy and I was sweating come the end of the match especially after a tense finale where we nicked the middle flag with seconds to go. Also had a 200-14 win on there once where it was so easy; I had time to roll a cigarette mid game and still went flawless
