  1. Brutal
  2. I particularly hate this generic corporate response:- ‘We encourage the Game Changers to be honest in their content, it’s one of the most important parts of the programme and the community trusts them because of that honesty. Feel free to ask me or any of the Game Changers about how it works.’ After Gggmanlives replied back saying he was being honest, Lee responded: ‘I believe that you were giving your honest opinion on the game man, like I said we encourage the Game Changers to do that and you’ve not been blacklisted. ‘I’m sorry you felt this way about the whole thing.’ It's contradictory and doesn't answer the question at all.
  3. LOL https://metro.co.uk/2019/02/22/youtuber-claims-ea-forced-take-paid-anthem-review-criticising-game-8718036/
  4. Chelsea have 'appealed' i.e prepared their bribe offer. Bet it will immediately be reduced to one window at the very least with only the minimal fine staying.
  5. Chelsea have been banned from the next two transfer windows https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47329293 Bit of a shame really as they were signing some really shit players of late and wasting a lot of money in the process. Looks like they have to stuck with David Louise and Ross Barclays Bank then😎
  6. PC Gamer gave it 55% https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/anthem-review/ and they are usually quite kind towards BioWare.

  8. Knew this story was bullshit - there is no such thing as a black white supremacists😎 What a way to ruin your career - create a farcical situation in a warped attempt at sympathy and causing racial friction and then get your already flimsy story torn apart by the media and police. What an embarrassing human being. Don't people have any dignity left or a shred common sense in them these days?
  9. Anthem currently 67 on Metacritic.
  10. Arsenal home game against Batty Borislov or whatever they're called kicks off tomorrow at 17:55 - it'll be interesting to see how many empty seats there are when that kicks off. Good luck finishing work and getting across London to watch that shit.
  11. Anyone get this in the end? Reviews were pretty decent although none seem to think it was a groundbreaking game. May pick it up for PS4 sometime soon and then grab it on Steam next year if it launches on there really cheap.
  12. I was watching a stream yesterday and the player went through 3 loading screens totaling over 5 minutes without even playing, got put into a lobby late, then got rubberbanded to his squad mates, missed a crucial cutscene, had another loading screen of 3 minutes, finally got into play, immediately got kicked back to the menu for no reason and then the game crashed back to desktop! This is apparently a normal occurrence! Such dreadful design - games like this need to be as seamless as possible and lots of other games do this and do it well. The Division is a prime example and even Destiny has minimal breaks in play. The stop-start nature just seems dated and frustrating and the fact you can miss important things or have your gameplay interrupted because other people have triggered loading screens is just unacceptable these days. This is an enjoyable review too
  13. ....having too much ammo https://www.criticalhit.net/gaming/fallout-76-player-with-900-hours-in-game-reportedly-banned-for-having-too-much-ammo/ after playing for 900 hours! Bethesda have done him a favour in all honesty.
  14. I've read quite a few reviews from early purchasers and they all say the same:- - Horrendous and relentless loading screens - Mundane gameplay - Ruthless rubberbanding catch-up to other players - Painfully repetitive and incredibly uninspired missions - Pathetic mid-game level gating to string out the 10 hour 'story' further - Worthless and boring loot - Soulless open world design - Brainless AI - Embarrassing writing and characters - Riddled with bugs - Endgame non-existent - Even worse than vanilla Destiny and Warframe 2013 A few have even said it is the worst game of this type they've ever played. I will wait and see how The Division 2 fares as that's out in a few weeks and although not radically different or improved; at least it's a proven brand and you know what you're getting into.
  15. Yep! Now all they need to do is plant a subscription service on the game and Black Ops 4 will have every single monetary avenue possible for a videogame. You can see how desperate they are having to resort to lootboxes to extort the few loyal players that remain. Shameful really!
  16. This guy did well. Very well.
  17. After Moyes, Van Gaal and Boreinho; it is definitely nice to see them playing attractive football for the first time since Fergie. It's also nice to see teams like Chelsea crumbling whilst playing painfully shite football.
  18. Pretty much. The smoothness is a bit of a deception and netcode quality is kind of masked among things like the armor and general pace of the combat. Until you dissect the technical data; we don't get a clear picture of how it truly runs. It's also fairly noticeable on PC because there is no aim assist as a further handicap so accuracy is essential.
  19. Pretty surprising considering how smooth the game feels. The combat does feel a bit off at times but I originally put that down to the pace, opponents armour and my bad aim but it's nice to see the game thoroughly tested and the netcode issues laid out. Unlike Blackout, I don't think we've been deliberately shafted with cheap low quality servers but Apex does need a lot of improvements especially when there already so many other factors at play that affect combat.
  20. It's a disappointing sadly - basically a linear experience with a generic character (nicely rendered arse though) where you try and survive walking through a map to the end. If you die, it's game over. It's great that it's free but honestly, it's fairly low quality that if I paid, I'd be very disappointed. It is a tough experience though and there's things to unlock but in the ten minutes it takes, it's pretty bland.

    MW4

3 lane maps are great but I'd also want a variety of maps like we had in BO, MW2, MW3, COD4, WAW etc. Favela had multiple routes, elevation and excellent long sightlines. Sub base had the same plus a lot of outer action and Afghan offered multiple ways to play and significant flanking opportunities. Now days it's start the match and go either left, right or center and maybe chuck a nade or get ready to fire straight ahead. The MW2 maps weren't forced 3 lane maps; they were just well-designed and varied. Even SnD has become a bit of a redundant mode in recent COD's because the maps just don't offer versatility. Traditional sniping has also been thrown out of the window and replaced entirely by quickscoping. I can't remember the last time we actually had a COD game with an iconic map. Nowadays they seem to be very symmetrical, either small or small-to-medium or just long and narrow. A lot of these modern COD maps are built with eSports in mind where the action is pushed into 3 lanes which diminishes different gameplay styles and brings aggressive sweaty gunplay to the fore.
  22. Finally unlocked Mirage for 12,000 tokens at level 23. Haven't had a chance to play as much as the first week but this one has been tougher because people are learning the game more, becoming more sweaty and some god awful Fornite players have entered the game and they are fucking useless and I have been lumbered with them.
  23. 800 staff laid off in total. That is a lot.
