    MW:R is worth playing for the campaign but the MP I felt was just a bit off. Dunno if it was something to do with the Advanced Warfare engine or the horrible tickrate but it really felt like a half-baked MP that Raven ultimately abandoned very quickly. Campaign is fantastic to revisit though especially the All Ghillied Up mission.

    Treyarch come primarily from an era where they could make a game, do minimal patches and then produce basic DLC map packs and then their job was done on the whole product. The climate in gaming has changed significantly now with huge daily demands from the community, ever-changing genre trends and more elements in-game to upkeep. Gone were the days they could make a game and the community would be happy for the whole year and the devs wouldn't need to worry about nerfing, balancing, general updates, new regular content, social media engagement, microtransactions etc. MW2 for example managed to cope when the old IW left the studio and aside from the rock glitch, the game maintained itself perfectly. You can't do that these days and if games don't remain fresh, they get abandoned especially on tiresome brands or saturated genres like this. If the rumours are to be believed too; Treyarch fucked the single player campaign worse than BO3's so Activision pulled the plug and then commissioned an 11th hour battle royale on top of a multiplayer that was supposedly reworked well over a year into full development. This would also give Treyarch an uphill battle on what is already a huge demand to keep everyone happy and their game relevant. The development hell rumours definitely seem true.

    I love the fact that before BO4 was revealed, they promoted the game as a 'true boots of the ground experience' yet all they have really done is disabled wallrunning and boost jumping - you can still kneeslide for miles and uphill just like in BO3! I didn't really like BO3 but it felt like a complete package whereas BO4 always felt like it was using scraps from that game whilst using a foundation of stolen ideas from other popular titles from around then. As said before; I don't think BO4 is the game Treyarch started making 3 years ago and what we got in the end was a panicked production of quickfire asset-ripping and borrowed ideas after their initial game was rejected. That theory is supported by deleted tweets and credible leaks. The majority hated specialists too so why make an entire game dedicated to them! At least with BO3 it was designed as intended but this game is a collective mess.

    From what I hear Forsaken improved the game reasonably but the damage was already done in regards to the base games failings. It certainly flopped for Activision financially to the extent, they allowed the brand to depart months later but for players that remained, it brought some additional content with a bit more backbone. I probably would've gone back to Destiny 2 had the package not cost £34.99 and I think many more would have too. Paying that much to go back to an originally threadbare game was not going to happen. The writing and stories in these live service games are utterly pathetic though and Destiny's was woefully bad especially coming from the studio that made Halo. Games should not be excused from providing a captivating story just because they may offer many hours of gameplay through other means. I watch some of the dialogue in the likes of Anthem and I cringe and Destiny really under-delivered in characters and writing. Cayde was great but the rest were bland.

This is why you shouldn't pay more to get games 'early'. This will be joining Fallout 76 in the bargain bins.

    Just watched the highlights and a manager not enforcing a substitution he wanted and made to look a right fool in the process, it really doesn't bode well for Sarri especially with the delicate plight he's already in. No authority and him and Zola got well mugged off.

    Claude POOel more like! It's tough for Leicester after the season they've had off the pitch and having their recent history to live up to but under Claude it wasn't good enough. 1-4 at home to Palace is a dreadful result.

    So he was paid by EA but simply put the wrong 'influencer' watermark on the video? No biggie really. GGG has probably been over-dramatic and assuming but I wouldn't trust anything that EA says with their record. If EA can't control their very own cocksuckers then they should just rely on the non-bribed mainstream media to judge their products.

    I particularly hate this generic corporate response:- ‘We encourage the Game Changers to be honest in their content, it’s one of the most important parts of the programme and the community trusts them because of that honesty. Feel free to ask me or any of the Game Changers about how it works.’ After Gggmanlives replied back saying he was being honest, Lee responded: ‘I believe that you were giving your honest opinion on the game man, like I said we encourage the Game Changers to do that and you’ve not been blacklisted. ‘I’m sorry you felt this way about the whole thing.’ It's contradictory and doesn't answer the question at all.
