  1. Kill confirmed is available but only in private matches apparently!? TDM is a nightmare - it's full of corner campers and crouch walkers! Another thing that I find strange is how after every match, the lobby is broken up and you can go from a completed game into one that's already ongoing - why not simply retain the lobby for the next match?
  2. Also, map control is way too easy and you can win so easily just by claiming certain power positions and holding them down - very prominent in 20v20+. It's boring as fuck but if you want an easy win, this is the way you can play. It's no fun whatsoever to play against though. In the likes of MW2 and BO for instance, you could play a variety of styles whereas in MW, rushing and being offensive can be punished too easily. COD is not a tactical or hardcore FPS by sheer design yet it plays like one here and that's why a lot of the fun and variety has been sucked out. It's a very conflicted design and the fact they didn't have the bollocks to take the minimap out kinda proves they aren't comfortable pushing this philosophy of the wider population yet they still want to hamstring them whilst bringing back a lot of negatives associated with MW2. If I play a way I don't want to play, I do really well but if I want to have fun and play a more livelier match as the maps are clearly intended by size, I get punished. I love they moved away from 3 lane by-design maps but it feels like they've just created overly-detailed environments rather than strategic maps to be enjoyed and open to a variety of playstyles here. Spawn trapping and killing is back too!
  3. That was debunked long ago. The only connection issues that affect games now are the 20hz servers and artificial ping values.

  6. It's been a bit of a mixed bag for me today. I have only played the multiplayer so far and I've noticed more problems than positives. It's the usual story - rain someone with bullets and they seemingly melt you in one. Put that down to the cheap-ass shitty servers. Some of the maps are really piss poor also - not many flow all that well and a lot encourage passive-defensive play. Spawns are terrible on some and I can't believe how many head-glitching and camping spots there are. The menu interface still looks and functions poorly and all the good gear is locked at higher levels so if you play against users who have got a head start, you may be in for a rough ride. The movement feels fluid, the visuals are good and the weapons are decent to use but I wouldn't say this game is all that enjoyable. It brings back a lot of issues from MW2 but doesn't have the fun factor that made that game so great and forgivable. I'll probably play a few more matches over the course of the weekend and then probably go through the campaign and spec ops.
  7. Stick them in here. I've only played about 8 matches so far and haven't touched the campaign or seen all the maps - I'll probably give my impressions a bit later after I've seen more and sampled some of the campaign. No kill confirmed though by the look of things which is very disappointing.
  8. Off to a great start in typical Bethesda fashion Fallout 76’s Premium Private Servers Are Not Private, Its Scrap Box Is Deleting Scrap WWW.FORBES.COM Fallout 76's new premium subscription service, Fallout 1st, is not working as intended and actually eating resources... Shameful embarrassment
  9. Another popular streamer Shroud has left Twitch for Mixer today. That's two big acquisitions for the platform and I wonder who could be next..
  10. PS4 is only 15 minutes @ 720/30 so players will require a capture card to reach even standard definition. PS4 Pro is largely 1080/30 even if the game is 4K/60 native. It also makes the reporting cheating process a pain in the rectum too.
  11. Delayed until May 2020 at the earliest. Big blow that. Not sure why they cemented February when less than a month later they add on an extra 3 months which puts it after Cyberpunk which a lot of people will still be playing.
  12. I think they started it early as so many had got their hands on it already. Try not to get too pissed Dave😎
  13. Urrgh that's disappointing!
  14. Really nice they've gone back to the mission briefing-style introduction to rather than pure cutscenes with gibberish spouted by overpaid B-list Hollywood actors. This looks like it's gonna be fucking quality
  15. I'm preloaded and ready to go but I wont be playing until tomorrow. I'm not going to look at any leaks or the campaign; I'm gonna let it be a surprise. Yep but the game wont be playable until it goes live apparently
  16. Classics from Timothy Baland and Donald Omar😎

  18. Physical disc version apparently requires a 30 and 57gb update - I also don't believe the game can be accessed until release but the download can be installed to at least complete the architecture. I finished the preloading on Battlenet and it was about 107gb compressed. Hopefully there wont be any nasty day one updates. For those wondering why digital is more expensive; I believe it's down to the amount of tax applied to digital media.
  19. Great video from Nick here - it's a long one though but worth a look

  21. 1. Probably £10-12 every two months. It'll replace the season pass lost revenue I expect and probably work about about £50/$60 worth of passes for the whole year. 2. I'm expecting shite cosmetics from calling cards, emotes, common camos and even blank tiers. Premium tiers will likely be full on each level and offer far more attractive 'rare' and 'legendary' stuff. 3. Hard to gauge the earn rate because they don't want to slow it down too much so people are put-off from going premium, but then they wont want to make it so rapid, people may neglect on buying the inevitable boosters. If BO4 is anything to go by, they with rig and tweak on the fly rather than having an consistent and fair system to start with. 4. Probably £1 to £500 - you can't put a price on Activision's greed. They'll also be selling COD points and boosters no doubt. If they can sell a boxing glove melee weapon for the same price as a game then there is no asking what people will be willing to buy and for how much. I don't think it'll end up as tacky as Treyarch's microtransactions but it'll be just as prominent.
