    Soldier is a great opening pick. But try and get good with a more complex character. This game has so many layers, without complimenting team picks, you'll get rolled. Too many tanks and no DPS and you'll lose. No healer? you'll lose.

    Dusted off Hanzo for a few. But it's Bastion and Soldier that do the heavy lifting. Looking forward to a Bastion nerf to be honest. Ever since the Buff, people make focus more on me, which sucks. Top job last night with D.va, That bastion survived 2 ults, which is bullshit. Good games.

    I've managed to play with a few randoms and get my score higher. the last team I played with were all solo. we all talked and wrecked the other team, it was glorious.. normal service to resume with retards i guess.

    I stayed on for some solo queue comp last night. What a fucking disappointment this game can be. Some rounds I literally played out of my skin, and yet just got nowhere. Stopped the payload nice and quick, but failed to get going on attack. From widowmakers that do fuck all, to rage quitting team mates solo queues have it all. And to top it off, that fucking robot. Bastion is OP as fuck. People on the PTR said he was OP as fuck. You just can't kill a pocket healed bastion, all you do is feed mercy a res. Get to the point kill everyone, res. shit.

    A good tracer can make a team fall to pieces. I've been against a few teams with that little cockney weasel shit bag wrecking us.

    I've been exclusively playing Mei in the off season. Apart from trolling rich with the ice wall (much fun) I've been having a blast, from delaying the enemy to wrecking genji (God how I love to freeze Genji). Got a good number of POGs too. Serious contender for next season, and opens up Soldier for regular play too.

    Last night I dedicated all evening to learning that annoying bitch Mei. Many lols were had (sorry Rich). Quite a few play of the games and starting to press the right button at the right time. With a bit more practice she might even make it into my top tier of player picks.

    I got a mid 2000 placement, then tanked pretty hard (2200). From there I stayed at or around 2500 until recently where a good run pushed me to over 2800. In the end it was too much to get the diamond. I'd say I was a strong Plat level, looking to scrape into the diamond bracket. Started off Playing Hanzo, and still enjoy using him when playing against certain characters. Bastion again useful for unexpected gameplay and upsetting the enemy. But its my soldier 76 that has come one leaps and bounds where I consistently get good stats for him. I'll be focusing more on Ana next giving me options, but I'm not going to spread myself too thin, being good at 4 characters is better than being average at 8. The key for general improvement now is tactics and structure. We're all guilty of running off and not complimenting our team mates skills. Having one person in overall control helps, and they can call out a request for focus fire. If a mercy is stopping us, then lets destroy her. I think we need a more regular Zenyatta, he is so useful for neutralising Pharah.

    played some more ranking matches with charlie last night. pushed a new season high of 2710. Oddly we got a placement match against a mid 3000 diamond and none of the opposing team were placing. pretty annoying really. The next line up we were playing against some rock solid tactics and a tracer that was wrecking people. I suspect they were 2nd accounts as they were barely eligible to play comp. From 0-2 down we fought like crazy. Got 63 eliminations and played out of my skin. top job by charlie. Wifes out tonight. going to be a long one, lets get y'all to plat, I think diamond might be a bit of an ask for me.
