Looking at @GazzaGarratt most recent topic about the reveal of Battlefield 6 coming soon.... A few of us thought it would be great to start investing a little time into the current title.
 
Let's face it, BV wasn't at its peak when it first came out with some horrible glitches, horrible wait time on matchmaking etc but that has all been fixed now and honestly makes for a fantastic multilayer game which is very much based on choosing the right load out for your character, whether it be, Assault, Medic, Support or Recon, all each have their perks to help out the team.
 
I've spoken with Cal and he says a few are up for a game tonight, Ste definitely, Maybe Marc and Aaron, also spoken with James and Jordie who might be up for it so we could possibly have 7, if anyone else would be interested In joining us, I would definitely suggest purchasing EA Play as it is only £3.99 a month and you got a fantastic amount of games, such as BV, Battlefront 2, Titanfall 2 (Another we might be playing soon) NHL, Fifa, UFC and so much more. In my opinion it's definitely worth the price unlike PS Now which is definitely overpriced at £8 a month and not much on their.

Really hope we see a change ASAP to this but until then I'll look at some group chats later today 👍

So this monstrosity of an update for the PS4 has utterly balls'd up all the party chats you could have or see. On the face of it, it looks like you can't have chats on your own, or see any of the other chats going on so its extremely hard to just pop in and say hi or see whos available to jump in to a game with. I'm more frustrated because at a time we're all struggling with very little social contact these days, this only further restricts. Don't get me wrong, if I want to talk to someone, like say @phil bottle, i'd create a group between me and him and then connect to voice chat. No one else though would see i'm in a chat - fine if sometimes you don't want to be disturbed - but not cool if you're happy for people to pop in and say hi, check hows things are, oh and maybe join the game that we're playing?
 
I have an idea though until they patch the silly system (we hope).
 
I'm going to throw out a number of Groups that will show that i might've added you to it. In doing so, its not to spam you with messages (I can do that many other ways already 😏) but more to try and help find ways to group up with people. From what I can see it looks similar to discord where you create a Group or 'Channel', only thing you need to be on the list to access it, either for text or voice chat, otherwise you won't know you're missing out.
 
I was gonna make a few on the lines of....:
 
FG Fridays FG Chat 1 FG Chat 2 FG Chat 3 FG Destiny Room 1 FG Destiny Room 2 etc  
If you want to not feel on your own and happy to be in a chat where some/all of us can join in and say hi let me know your thoughts. As I don't want it to be forced, you can always remove yourself from it the chats yourselves. Before you do though just ask yourself - how much you genuinely rely on the chat service on being able to just pop in and say hi? You might not realise it but you're probably making someone's day by just doing that.

I think this is a great start to figuring out how we move forward. Thanks for really thinking about this. 

Good idea. I mean the system would be fine if they just had a private or public option... literally all they need to add to fix it. Not sure what they were thinking 

I suppose it's difficult for those of us on this side of the pond to truly understand what is happening over there. However, my cynical side thinks that this delay tactic is more driven by money than ethics. If people are too engrossed in the news and all that other stuff, they aren't playing call of duty and buying micro transactions. I hope i'm wrong but activision aren't known to be the most ethical business. 

This game is shit.

I feel kinda guilty for being excited about this game mode.  I feel with the right group it will be outrageously fun 

The part I'm happy about is the ability to level up your multiplayer weapons. If there is a class you suck with .... Snipers for example you can get some xp on bots and get new attachments to make them more usable

To new members I am Ste ! I'm from Dublin Ireland I only really play on the playstation but cross play is coming soooo I can wreck noobs on Xbox soon .
