    I definitely think Hardcore is the way to go for longshots.  As many guns accuracy sucks that longshots in core would be a pain.

     

    I did most of my longshots in HC, SMG's in particular are the most vital in HC. 

     

    Funny as you mention the LM-S, I did the longshots for that in core Shoothouse. 

    Along the wall which is up to 60m, it's actually a 2 shot Kill unless you hit head. 

    It was quite frustrating, I have footage of it somewhere in my archives. 

    I will post it here at some point. 

    It's actually me doing pretty well, but many kills were 2 shots and you can see it. 

    I would imagine some of the other guns or Marksmans are the same. 

    Probably once you hit past I would say 42-50m range it turns to a 2 shot even in HC. 

    Then all the Autos add another bullet also. 

    There is definitely a dropoff for damage range even in HC.

    He naturally is just hilarious to watch.

    But..... If it does go that way in the future. Do we really want one company 80+ or 90% of the ownership. 

    There maybe no malice in it, but who knows future intentions. 

    Having all that control gives them the chance to have complete monopoly. 

    Also to dictate and choose what we play, how we play, where and when. 

    And at what price? 

     

    Even if they aren't evil, having the power gives them the chance to. 

     

    I say nah fuck that.....

    Pistols are easy and Shotguns for longshots. 

    I was lucky enough there was a Hardcore Shipment about when I needed them. 

     

    I made it a priority and grinded them all when the option was available. 

     

    1 or 2 games per gun. TDM might take 2, but Dom you could go onto the next gun and potentially do 2 guns a game. 

     

    It was unfortunate at the time Tier 1 had a bug, so there was no challenge unlock popup when reached. 

    You had to just guess. 🥵

    I think for Polyatomic, you don't have to do every gun, 51 Platinums are required I believe. I was hoping to miss most snipers out if thats possible to do. Kenny would know best, @IRaMPaGe?

     

    Yeah it's 51 Platinums to unlock access to Polyatomic. 

    Polyatomic is all headshots to then get Orion. 

     

    The Platinums/Longshots are a slog because most people do all golds then moving onto Platinums. 

     

    It's boring getting 25 Longshots multiply by 51 guns. 

    Over 1000. All in 1 go if it's all you have left to do and unlock the next challenges. 

     

    I skipped the Sniper Longshots and missed out 1 of them gold on the way. 

     

    As long as you reach 51 guns. 

    There are that many DLC guns now you can pick and choose. 

    You could even miss out melee or shield or launchers depending on your tolerance to certain guns. 

    You will have to do plenty still.

    The deal has to be approved by the US, UK and Europe for it to work. 

     

    It's like a jury or trial/investigation so to speak. 

    If it's not unanimously decided the deal is off. 

     

    Just because it's 2 American companies. Their products and services are consumed globally. 

    It's like a fair trade kinda scenario. 

     

    Unlawful monopoly of the market. 

    It's the biggest gaming merge ever. 

     

    To be honest I'm not the one deciding. 

    I couldn't give 2 shits if it's a yay or nay. 

     

    It's a huge deal and the future could be murky for many others if it goes ahead. 

     

    Maybe in Europe and America you can throw wads of cash about to make things happen. 

    The UK has concerns it said no. 

     

    Note that Europe and US haven't put their conclusion forward. 

    UK goes first and then will be made to look like backward thinking neanderthals. 

    Not seeking any "progression" in technology. 

     

    Plus who is this deal good for? 

    The 2 companies in question. Not the average Joe or consumer. 

    Just 2 big companies getting fatter and richer. 

     

    The future is uncertain on their intentions after the merger went ahead. 

    Who knows what they have planned for the next 5 years or beyond?

    That's why I didn't post it, now that would be a bannable offense. 

     

    It was a derby game and they were singing a chant you probably know of it.

    I didn't realise how fierce the rivalry was between the 2 teams. 

    I take it their home stadium being mentioned is a disgusting word as well?

    Played some of the Black Gold night vision map, like others have said the canted laser is weird. 

    Still nice to see a bit of variety. 

     

    Pelaylo's Lighthouse is decent. Dom and Kill Confirmed are alright on it. TDM not so much. 

    That's more due to my own personal game mode preferences. 

    Would give the map a 7.5.

    It's a bit dark and dingy and sometimes hard to spot enemies. 

    Good mixture of gun fights tho, vertical play as well and excellent flanking options.

    Yeah I saw that Pat, I've already eyed it up. Will be taking those dogshit attachments the blueprints has off when I get it. 

     

    I just would prefer it to originally be earned like an event like this. 

    Then the blueprints be an extra you earned in DMZ or WZ or whatever.
