    @GazzaGarratt thanks, I'll give this a try tonight and see if it works. Regarding books, if you find yourself needing visualisations, you could have a look at Manga/Comic books.     Don't forget to find the Directors Cut version in your Library, go to More > Seriel Keys > receive code for free copy of the original game. I did this via web browser as I'm not sure it's possible yet on GOG 2.0.

    @Middle Class Caveman @GazzaGarratt I do this sometimes already. We have a Google Home in the bedroom and that can play ambient sounds. It can be nice to just have it on in the background. It would be nice if I could set a timer so the sounds will turn off after a certain time but I haven't figured out how to do that.

    Yeah I get that. Came off my PC last night to go have a shave, still couldn't sleep after. Ended finally sleeping around 3. Although isn't it supposed to be worse for you just laying in bed without sleeping? I think I'm going to try reading my books before bed and see how that works.

    My sleeping patterns have been all over the place lately, currenty not sleeping until around 4AM 😑. Yesterday I was out all day, feeling tired in the afternoon but once I get home I'm wide awake again. This sleeping pattern is messing with my running at the moment ☹️.

    @Greboth thanks, if I can find some spare paper and my pencils, I might start doing some sketching. Another book I see being recommended is one called "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain". I haven't looked at them yet though.

    I haven't thought much about style. I think I'm impressed by seeing fantasy / movie / game characters. It's definitely one style of drawing I'd love to be able to do. I've got some tutorial material from a YouTuber called Jazza (aka DrawWithJazza), he released some how to draw books that I've purchased. I keep starting but not finishing another place called DrawABox. Over the years I've bought so many pencils, coloured pencils, art pads and it's always come to nothing

    Please do! I wish I had something to show in this thread as I love art and even though I've never learned it, it's one of the only things I've ever wanted to learn. I've tried many times but I just don't stick with it (most likely due to lack of progress and feeling useless). Learning is definitely going to be one of my new year resolutions though.

    @McNasty Hey man, just checking in to see if you've kept up with your running? How's it going? I completed my 6th Parkrun this morning (also 6th in a row!) and got a time of 23:00, which is just shy of my PB from the previous week of 22:50. I could have come close to that but at the start of the race, I struggled getting my phone in the belt (damn cold and rain!). I lost a lot of positioning then when half the field probably got in front. It took some effort to find the gaps and work my way back up. I ended up placing 63rd out of 455 runners. Trainers are on the last legs, so I'm just hoping they hold out until atleast January when I might be able to get some more.

    This looks to be a very good month. I will skip Outlast 2 though as I'm terrible with jump scares. Nioh looks very good, so I might start that once I've finished Detroit Become Human.

    The new rules on substitutions are interesting. It's a big issue in football and it'll be interesting to see what refs do to those not following this new rule.

    So it's been a while, I've spent more time reading books and watching tennis over gaming for last few weeks, although these two deals was just too good to turn down. So here are some more leftovers that I already had. Crusader Kings II Crusader Kings II: The Old Gods DLC Crusader Kings II: Legacy of Rome Crusader Kings II: Way of Life Crusader Kings II: Holy Fury Crusader Kings II: The Reaper's Due Crusader Kings II: Conclave Only base game still available. I already owned some of the big expansions, so these are a great additon to anyone who doesn't already own the game. I also have a spare copy of Slay the Spire from the recent Humble Monthly.

    Sounds like a dream job, I'd love to work with animals. What is the largest and smallest animals you look after? And do you have a favourite, or one that you have bonded most with?

    @phil bottle mine ended up something similar. Only for about 3 months though, as I purchased game pass when it was £1 on a deal. You should have bought some more time before upgrading, I hear people are doing that to maximise the amount of ultimate they get for cheap. Any word on when it leaves beta? as the cheap price is only until then, but I may end up keeping it going after.

    I can't even download games from the store anymore. Before E3 I had started Imperator: Rome downloading but paused it so my stream wouldn't lag. Next day I go to resume the download and now I can't download anything from the store, I can't even download the new Xbox App. EDIT: fixed now, I needed to clear my store cache.
