    Trust me no one hates society more than I. It's my belief that 90% of people are complete idiots, 9% are not idiots but are just flat unlikable, and 1% might be decent people. There's still a big world to enjoy without the phone though.

    Something that I will never understand and makes 0 sense to me is the way people are so into their cell phones and can't take their hands/eyes off them. You go to the store and you have to dodge morons walking with their heads down looking at their phones. You pull up to a light and the people next to you have their phones in their laps looking at them and not paying attention to the traffic signal. My family comes for dinner and my Niece and Sister sit at the table with a fork in one hand and their cell phone in the other. There's a whole big world out there and you can interact with people face to face, put the phone down and live your life. It really makes me wonder if when these people die and they realize they spent 40% of their lives on their phones if that would even bother them or not.

    Just got done watching the latest Bond movie "Spectre". Have somewhat mixed feelings on it. I'm a huge Bond fan and love almost all the movies in the franchise (except for Her Majesty's Secret Service for obvious reasons lol) but it almost seems a tad hard to follow Spectre, and I'm not someone easily confused by a movie. Just seemed like they tried too much to make it complicated at parts and it somewhat got lost at times. Not a bad Bond movie, but defiantly not one of the better ones in my opinion.

    Yep that's the same problem I use to have with them. I signed a guaranteed price 2 year contract. Had the contract in hand with exactly what it should cost for 24 months. I won't bore you with all the details of exactly what happened, but to sum it up... I had a different price every single month for the first 14 months of my 24 month contract. I probably spent well over 20hrs on the phone with at least 25-30 different people at Comcast. Had promised told to me that they would take care of it, that they would credit me, they would fix it for the next month, everything. I even called the Corporate headquarters it got so bad. Worst customer service by far I have ever in my life had with any company what so ever. FINALLY about 5 months ago the bill was correct (took them 14 months to finally get it right) and the past 5 have finally been right. Didn't mean to stray off topic onto that but just had to tell ya what I had gone through with them myself.

    I don't have Uverse, and I HATE Comcast even though I have had them for a few years now. So while I am no fan of Comcast (Worst customer service I have EVER seen) I will tell ya that Uverse monthly prices will go up even more than Comcast after the first year. I almost switch the AT&T a few months ago because they have a special price for the first year, but after the initial first year is over their prices skyrocket even worse than Comcast does. So make sure you find out what the cost will be after the first year period is up just so you know what you will be paying.

    Only thing I can't take on Tv is Curling. My Dad for some reason use to watch it back when I was a kid and I just hated watching that with a passion lol.

    Easy McNasty, because everyone has different tastes. I absolutely hate soccer and basketball, don't really care at all for football either, but they are all sports that have huge followings. What one person loves another hates, and visa versa. I never was a baseball fan till about 15 yrs ago. Always thought it was slow moving and boring. Then I watched a couple games and started seeing there was a lot to it even between action, then I really started enjoying it.

    Everest . I had no idea when I picked it up that it was the movie version of a book I had just finished last year by Jon Krakauer (Into thin air). Which was a true story. I won't say what happens to whom just in case anyone plans to see it still. I'll just say it was an Excellent movie, but knowing it was a true story really made some parts of it hard to watch.

    Just got done watching The Martian. Excellent movie. I was expecting before hand that it would just be basically a space version of Castaway but it was far from that. I really liked all the science included in it and Matt Damon was about the best I have ever seen him in a movie. Highly enjoyed it. Also got Everest and Spectre while at the video store so gonna watch those shortly. Yep I said "video store" ...I'm ol' fashion and enjoy going to the video store for movies rather than ordering at home

    I have seen the previews but not watched the actual show yet. I liked the movies but the tv show does look a bit lame from what I can tell from the advertisements.

    Cool stuff Doc, it's always nice to have people recognize your passion for something you enjoy in life and want you to be a part of something such as that. As to the pen name....I vote Officer "Sledge Hammer"...yes I admit, I use to watch it back in the day

    Same here Tommy. Started sleeting when I got up at 8am, then turned to rain, then mid day it snowed like crazy for about 30 mins, then sun poped out for about 10 mins, then cloudy as hell right before dark. Only thing missing were locust

    I agree man chills when I watch stuff like that. I think it's because it reminds us of our childhood, music can trigger powerful memories and feelings. Looks really good from what they show. The Walkers on the beach were way cool looking!

    Looking for spring, if anyone knows of it's where abouts please return it back to Michigan....we miss it. 3 weeks ago we had 72f weather here for a few days. Now it's been 20's-30's, was supposed to go up to the cabin on the first Steelhead fishing trip of the year (supposed to be there right now) but we had to postpone it for about 2 weeks because of over a foot of snow up at the cabin today. Sucks....SUCKS......SUCKS
