  1. Spent about 5 hours today getting the boat ready for vacation. Normally I just have to clean it up to get it ready, nothing major most years, but this year I had to do some rewiring. The bilge pump has not been working for the past year and I can't have that not working. So had to rewire it today. As handy as I am with most thing my nemesis is electrical work, I absolutely HATE doing electrical work. Worked out well though and got it all rewired and new switch in and working well now. Ready to go chase some pike & bass for 2 weeks on the Au Sable
  2. New 10wt fly rod I built myself to take on my annual 2 week Au Sable trip which starts next Friday. Planning on giving it a good work on with many big pike over the trip.
  3. Saw Finding Dory today. Very nice follow up to the first movie I enjoyed it quite well. Did not enjoy the pain in the ass kid behind me kicking my seat nor the other kids down the row from me talking through the whole movie. Guess some parents don't teach their kids manners these days!
  4. LOL took me a second to get it.
  5. I've actually never even heard of Fallout boy before. But I'm guessing that's because I'm most likely not in the age group they play too.
  6. Now because you said that I had to go look it up because I had not heard it yet. Oh my God this is sooooo bad. Is there anything about this film that does not suck??? http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/la-et-ms-fallout-boy-missy-elliott-ghost-busters-theme-20160623-snap-story.html
  7. Spent the past two days up at the cabin getting some work done before I head up next month for vacation. The ceiling over the couch had been falling down for the past year now so I completely ripped all that out and replaced it. Then the center of the living room had some spots that were falling so I ripped those down and replaced then with some new boards and then painted the whole thing with some mildew/mold killing paint. Much better looking now than it was. Was a pain in the ass doing it alone trying to hold heavy board up and drill/screw them in at the same time. But got it done and now I won't have to work during vacation next month.
  8. lol I actually meant you but said Plastic Gamer. I'm getting old, at least I remember my own name ....half the time.
  9. Bingo! lol. Everything about that film sucks, even the promo's. And PlasticGaming you are dead on with comparing her to Adam Sandler, that's a perfect comparison. I'm not a Sandler fan at all, but I at least liked him in the Longest Yard remake. That was it though.
  10. Actually it is a reboot Jay, not a sequel http://www.hitfix.com/the-dartboard/why-is-the-new-ghostbusters-a-reboot-not-a-sequel-let-paul-feig-explainThey made a big deal out of telling people it's not a sequel. No matter though if it were a sequal, reboot, remake, old boot or wtf they want to call it....it's shit
  11. The worst is when they let her go off on some improv lines. She just rambles about things that are not even close to being funny when she does that.
  12. And here all this time I thought I was the only one that didn't see the appeal of Melissa McCarthy.
  13. PA has some pretty areas. I was over in Waterville a few years back fishing the Pine river with a buddy for a week. Really nice area there if you know where that is.
  14. Just finished this custom rod up for a customer this morning. Next month is my annual 16 day Au Sable vacation fishing trip so I'm bustin' ass trying to get all caught up on rod orders right now. Actually headed up to the cabin tomorrow & Thursday but not to do any fishing. Have to go up and replace some ceiling panels and get the cabin in shape for vacation.
  15. That's just too skinny There's slim / fit then there's crackhead skinny. That falls into the later category if you ask me.
  16. I thought that was too pretty for Ohio Nice looking area there.
  17. Hell yeah man awesome. Is that in Ohio?
  18. Now I'm gonna have to buy Star Trek IV just for the hell of it lol.
  19. Yep I agree 100% with everything everyone said here. One thing is I absolutely can not stand Melissa McCarthy. Personally I don't think she is even remotely funny in any way. Plus I really hate it when they redo a classic movie. Some movies should not be screwed with and Ghostbusters is one of those movies. I also hate when they change a cast to a different sex or race just for the sake of changing it. Just like the new TV series Uncle Buck which is starring Mike Epps... What's next a remake of Steel Magnolias with an all male cast and a remake of Fat Albert with an all white cast? Quite repackaging stuff that's already been done and come up with an original idea Hollywood!
  20. OMG that's right, I totally forgot about there being one where they had to save some humpback whales or some shit like that lol. I'm right there with ya on the reboots, I haven't seen any of the new rebooted ones because even the trailer for them did not appeal to me. I'm not a fan of most reboots at all anyway.
  21. Star Trek III Search for Spock. - Hadn't seen it in about 30 yrs but picked the dvd up at a garage sale over the weekend for $1 and just watched it today. Forgot how much I enjoyed the old 80's Star Trek movies.
  22. Not a picture but this just cracks me up LOL
  23. Drifter

    BF1 Gameplay

Yep I think that was the one I tried the beta version of. I remember it was infantry only, you started outside but could run to some tunnel and a subway car if memory serves correct.
  24. Yep the Grey, Everest, A River Runs Through it, The Hunter... and movies such as that are my taste for sure. Not a fan of the slap stick blatant in your face type comedies of these days, or the CGI-fest that so many action movies are now. To me it seems like most movies these days are made for people where you have to turn your mind off to watch it. That's not why I watch movies. I think it's just a progression in taste, as we age our taste progress to different things. I still enjoy some of the stuff out there that has CGI and lots of action in it, I liked Guardians of the Galaxy, and I liked Jurassic World, but these days I tend to enjoy a movie more for a well written plot, good acting, and great scenery more than anything else.
