The prices keep increasing yet the quality just keeps on going down. The game industry really is a shitty industry.

Spot on. Activision do not give a single shit if you've been playing COD for 15 years. Well, they care in so much as you've been giving them money every year for the past 15 years. But they don't care if you're a "loyal COD player". That means fuck all to them. All they want is money. If they piss of their player base so people stop playing but STILL make shit loads of money then they've achieved their goal.

I'm still disappointed that this is going to be a whole new game rather than the expansion to MW2 that it was originally rumoured to be. I also fully expect this to be an unfinished mess. No beta* until October. The reveal is supposedly not coming until August. 💩 *playable demo.

This game should have been delayed again. Digitalfoundry did a PS5 analysis and found that the performance mode not only doesn't get to 60fps most of the time but the resolution drops BELOW 720p at some points.

It's not just about what MS products get used in the UK. The UK has a lot of power in the world and a lot of services and technologies are owned/run by the UK. The CMA ruling affects the whole world. -
I've been playing this a bit more and I'm still very confused as to what to do. I see I have a mission that tells me to do a few things, I go to do those things only to be told I can't do those things as there are other things to do *before* I can do the things I need to do 🤷♂️ I think I'm still only very early on in the actual progress of the game and a lot of the missions I keep trying to do are from much later in the game. I'll stick at it and see if I can figure out what the shit is actually going on.

They've said that the beta is running on old netcode. And at least this is an actual beta rather than a playable demo that we get with COD.

I've watched a few more videos and the game reminds me of BO3. The look of the maps and character abilities. This is fine with me as BO3 is my no.1 COD.

Some proper new gameplay. JackFrags says it reminds him of old school COD. Personally I think it's looks pretty decent.

MW2 is the top selling game on Steam and the Blackcell BP is third. I guess that COD isn't actually dying like people say. And it would appear that the people who complain about the game really are just a loud minority.

Activision have pulled another shitty move with this new BlackCell Battlepass. You have to pay a straight £30 for it and can't use COD points. So even if you have loads saved up then it's tough shit.

Running around 1 shotting people with a pistol in Hardcore is really quite good fun.

The next test won't be under an NDA like the last few have been so we should finally start to see some proper footage of this game.

I stopped watching 8 Thoughts years ago. I just find him annoying and he's been hating COD for a long time. Same with Thunder (who used to be my favourite COD YTer). COD isn't dead. It still makes a ridiculous amount of money. It's still the best selling game every year (apart from when Rockstar release something). I actually don't mind MW2. Sure it's got it's issues and IW made some stupid design decisions. But it's better than the last few efforts.

It is a shortcoming though. A lot of people, myself included, only play 6v6. And the fact that they've lost a load of players just shows that they really should be making sure they support the 6v6 community.
