Leeds vs Southampton in the Championship playoff final. I honestly don't know who will win it. If the Leeds team that went on a 13 game unbeaten run turn up then we'll definitely win. It won't be easy for either team and I think it'll be a great match to watch for any neutrals. I think 3 VAR challenges per game from one of the managers would be the way forward and let the manager listen to the conversation between referees.

Microsoft are the new EA; buy loads of studios and when they don't make billions just close them down. After they shut them down one of the MS execs came out and said they want to focus on smaller games. The type of game that Tango had just made with Hifi Rush 🤦♂️ Game Pass just isn't sustainable and MS seem unable to work out what to do to fix it, apart from putting the price up.

I only ever stay around the edges of maps so the buildings don't bother me.

Is it just me that really likes the new maps in this game? Greece isn't brilliant but the other ones are pretty decent. Even the new Stash House map isn't too bad and I normally hate tiny maps. They're much better than shit like Black Gold or that bloody Lighthouse map from MW2.

I've been playing on the play list with the maps from the newest MW2 and I think that the maps are actually pretty decent. Yet I really didn't like MW2. So my dislike of it was purely down to the design decisions of IW. Specifically the loud footsteps that just slowed the game down. On another note: I really don't like a lot of maps from the OG MW2. I think the majority of them are just far too big for 6v6. And they're definitely too big for FFA.

I'm just trying to work through camo's now. I play Hardcore so it doesn't really matter which gun you use. One thing to add is that on EVERY class I have Covert Sneakers and the Assassin Vest. I like to be a stealth bastard.

I'm not a reviewer. So that is the extent as to my reviewing skills 😜 One pro tip I do have: When you die make sure you press the button to respawn. If you don't you'll just be sat there watching your team mates play. Like I did 🤦♂️

This game is brilliant now. I've finished it a couple of times with different builds. I had a Netrunner build with pistols as backup. Using the Contagion quick hack you can kill a load of enemies before they even know you're there.

It's never fun. It's just a clusterfuck of getting constantly spawn killed.

Pro tip if you're came grinding and you have one of those "get 25 tac stance kills" challenges: Go into Hardcore Meat 24/7. Kit your gun out with all attachments that help with tac stance spread and then go into your options and make the centre dot on your screen as big as possible. It took me 2 games to get 25 tac stance kills.

I think it looks decent in fairness. Much better than the shite that was Season 1 of MW2. Which had 2 "new maps" that were just reskinned old maps 🤷♂️

Playing solo can be a pain. I have a strike rule now: If I die to 3 bullshit* deaths then I just leave a game. *bullshit deaths are where I die with no time to react. I had one yesterday where I was pre-aiming a door as I knew somebody was coming. Then bullets came at me BEFORE I saw the player walk through the door and I died. Fuck that.

They can't talk about it. SBMM and the whole matchmaking system is handled by Demonware and the game devs have nothing to do with it. It's the Activision execs that shove it in the game.

An interesting video from Ace talking about the AMA. Sledgehammer claim they'll look into disbanding lobbies. I'm pretty sure IW said the same about MW2 and nothing happened. Sledgehammer have said that they and Demonware are looking at desync between players which is what is causing you to seemingly die in just one bullet. I had massive issues with this last night (Tuesday) and I turned the game off because of it. I had 4 or 5 games where I couldn't kill anybody and I was dead as soon as somebody appeared on my screen without any chance of reacting to them. They're tweaking Ghost because at the right now it stops working the second you stop moving rather than giving you a couple of seconds before deactivating. I'm personally happy about this as it's annoying that you can't stop to reload or whatever before you show on the mini map.

Most of the post launch maps are going to be brand new 🤯 From my experience Sledgehammer are generally pretty good at making maps. Much better than IW are.
