Scorestreaks FTW. You get score for everything - kills, assists, using streaks, if you have a UAV or CUAV up then you'll get assist points if team mates get a kill. Scorestreaks just make more sense.

Sledgehammer make decent campaigns so I'll be looking forward to that. I definitely won't be rushing to buy this game as until I see how they treat 6v6 this time around.

It's not nearly impossible. All regular 6v6 players want is 3/4 maps every new season. I don't think that's an unreasonable request. Even if it was 2 new and remastered then I'm sure people would be fine with that. This season is just a poor effort. 1 remaster and one that was removed from the game to start with. That's just not good enough when the game launched with few 6v6 maps in the first place.

So we get ANOTHER old re-skinned map and then a map that was removed from the game after the beta that was supposed to be in the game at launch? And that's it for 6v6 maps? What an utterly piss poor offering that is. I'd rather they just brought back the map packs from before. At least we got a decent amount of months every few months.

TitanFall failed because EA are fucking idiots and decided that it was a good idea to release TitanFall 2 the week between COD and BF launches 🤦♂️ I'm still pissed off about it as TF2 was superb.

A lack of a decent alternative is why Activision just keep doing what they want. They know people will buy COD no matter what.

Yep. The tweet by Mark Rubin and follow up tweets were him basically saying that they have seen what COD fans hate about recent Cods so they've purposely added or removed what they do/don't like. They're targeting players that are sick of Activision not listening to fan feedback.

Newish video about this game. I think it looks quite decent. Also Mark Rubin - head of the development team and former IW lead - had this to say: Features I would have if I were making a MP FPS. - No SBMM in Casual Play - Ranked Mode - Lobbies that stay together - Red Dots on Minimap - Map Voting Just to name a few. *hint - I am making that game. Which all sounds good.

Can't say I'm surprised. There is a decent game underneath but IW made changes that weren't needed that players hate (the perk system for example) and 3 months into the game there is a lack of 6v6 maps still. If were we still on the Map Pack model then we'd have had our fist map pack now and 4/5 new maps.

That's like saying they should have made some changes to TeDiuM or just removed it completely. There was no need to remove HC from the game. It's got a solid player base. And they managed to lose some of those players by removing it.

Tier 1 has 50 health, health regen and no HUD whatsoever which means no kill-feed or hitmarkers.

Maybe they've realised that their un-needed changes were a bad thing and they've made some serious changes? Such as getting rid of the shit Perk system and giving us a traditional one again. That would be a good start. But then IW seem extremely stubborn and generally refuse to change anything even if there is a huge backlash from the community. We also need a load of new 6v6 maps. The amount we have now is pitiful. They need to give us 4/5 in season 2.

Totally agree. Thunder is like a stuck record now. The problem with COD is that if you only play 6v6 then there is a lack of maps because of the live service model. At least when you had to buy map packs then you knew that you'd get a decent amount of maps every few months. If you venture outside of 6v6 then there is plenty of do. The only downside being that you generally need to be in a squad (I still have a Raid key as I haven't played it yet).

I watched this XclusiveAce video about the RAAL MG. I thought I'd try it out. And it is an absolute MONSTER. It may be my favourite gun. Look at the ridiculous k/d I have with it. Plus it's excellent at taking down streaks.

Unless you know where the other player is from and what their connection is like then it isn't evidence of anything. COD prioritises skill over connection now. So you could be in lobbied with players from 100s or thousands of miles away. Or you could be up against people using a netduma to play with people out of their region to get an advantage.

I don't think it's skill based hit detection. It's just the shite servers that Activision use. This sort of thing has always been a problem in COD.

The first magazine I used to buy as a kid was Amstrad Action. Purely for the cassette you got on the front. Then I jumped onto Mean Machines and when it split I'd also buy Mean Machines Sega and Nintendo Magazine System.

How people play this solo is a mystery to me as it's just annoying. I always get put with total idiot team mates who don't shoot down ANYTHING. So the other team have constant UAV's up and my team mates will just repeatedly run out and get killed by VTOL's or Chopper Gunner's without thinking that maybe they should get rid of them 🤬🤦♂️

I don't panic when I see a Riot Shield. In fact I relish it as I always have the Drill Charge equipped and killing a Riot Shield user with one is hilarious.

100% agree. I totally refuse to pay for any of the stupid shit in the store. I don't mind paying the Battle Pass but I'm not paying £20 for a stupid skin.
