  1. The worst part is people will always buy these things and developers will not change.
  2. I guess providing a game with no missions, growth as a character, or a story means people get bored pretty easy. "and that's... why you don't pre-order games" -- the one armed man
  3. FIFA 17 vs PES 2017: There can only be one champion.
  4. The DE games always bug me, mainly because of their UI and text. I feel it's made in paint.
  5. I need to read about PES.
  6. They don't offer a service that is worth the price increase. Their 4.0 update is a great update but there are still a few things lacking, not to mention their PS Plus games have been garbage for the last few months as Xbox One is giving out AAA titles.
  7. Glaz is a monster when playing against lower level players. They're usually standing up carelessly so you can pick them off (assuming they're not underneath in the cargo area) and then wait for another sucker to pick them up. Barbed wire is essential for slowing down the attackers. Bandit has three, so you could lay down a whole corridor down or put them in high traffic areas. It gives your team a good audio cue when you hear the rustling or banging of the wire. When the defenders are in the Meeting room you can place a thermite charge on the wall closest to the front office, then place a normal charge on the office wall (usually not reinforced) then hang back behind the computer desk, blow them both and pick off any defenders in the room with ease. Also it's impossible to reinforce the far left wall panel (against the couch inside the room), so you can always breach it with a regular charge, and defenders often don't know about it. It's a narrow panel, so it's not always obvious where you're shooting them from. You can pllace a Valkyrie camera on the tail of the aircraft by tossing it from the upper level through the hatch. Seems like this is a love it or hate it map for the vast majority of people. I probably come down on the love it side just because I like smaller maps a bit more and this one has a very unique nature to it, but it's not without some issues either. Top floor cockpit is really cool but the rest of the upper deck feels like an afterthought. Okay servers and stuff live up there but I feel like more could have been done with the layout, it's so empty, especially that section in the middle with that one destructible wall put there just for the sake of having something there. A good tactic up there is to lock down the ladders with frost traps at the top, they can't see them until they're already coming up the ladder and they often miss them resulting in an easy DBNO. Partial breaches above the presidential suite are also very effective. The middle deck is of course where everything happens. Meeting room seems fairly well balanced, my only complaint here is the cheap tactic of making wall reinforcements only half size for this room because there's not enough breachable surfaces to cover otherwise. That feels cheap. Glaz of course can make use of the windows on the map which is VERY unique. It's actually kind of cool. Even if some people hate it you can counter it by several ways, shooting back through the bullet holes he's opened up or putting deployable shields in front of the windows, etc. Presidential suite seems fairly well balanced too. Press section is awful though. Easily the worst objective zone on the map. It's so small, so cluttered, it's just a mess. Luggage hold is a cool spot, especially like the semi hidden breaching path next to the stairs, clever design. The luggage hold itself is well laid out. I like the half cover points that can be vaulted as well as the full floor to ceiling structure in the middle of the room. The main view down either front or back hallway can give a commanding lockdown but can be countered by the trapdoors or breaches. The connecting section behind it though is meh. Seriously what is up with the mounted animal heads in this room? WTF? Also across from it the hall narrows and you can't breach any of that section. Could have been a narrow room or another breachable path like the hidden one at the front of the compartment, feels like wasted space that could have been used. The baggage hold is not bad overall but feels like maybe it could have one or two more angles on it as the loading crates really block views on everything in here. That can be an advantage though. Roamers can really work well on this map as it's very "lane" based but if you're on the wrong side of the map from where you need to be you can have quite the run ahead of you to get into position Epic flanks can and do occur on this map regularly. The narrow confines mean shields are useful (watch out for nitro as always) but it also means placed traps are much more viable as well. Doing things like preplacing smoke's gas grenades is much more effective in a map like this due to predictable choke points which don't exist AS much on many other maps. I also like how there's the unique dynamic of having no exterior cameras on this map. It would make spawn killing worse. But THAT is the other problem with this map. Spawn killing can be a nightmare if you're facing an aggro defense. There are ways of dealing with it of course, but it's still a bit more of a problem on this map as compared to others. Probably the only tubular defense map we'll ever see unless they do something like a double decker train or a submarine.
  8. This new series has been created to facilitate the gameplay, metagame, and strategy discussion that often gets buried or lost in the abundance of others posts that flood this sub. The goal of this series is to not only give new players a primer on a specific map, but also for midlevel or competitive players a chance to share the knowledge that they have accrued in their experiences and maybe let people know something that they did not know before. Today's map is Presidential Plane. Iceycat's Plane Guide Serenity17 Plane Tips & Tricks Plane Wiki The community has outlined a couple of things that they want to converse about with every map, but feel free to branch out should you feel a piece of information warrants its own discussion. Overall map and team strategies for attacking & defending. Secret areas, kill holes, and other techniques that can be used on the map. The best operators to use on the map and different abilities that work & don't work with this map. What strategies have you adopted while playing this map? What is something that a new player should know when playing this map, or what is something you know that would help a veteran player take that next step? Does the map offer an unfair advantages to attackers or defenders? Will Epi ever give us a release date for Bartlett University? What is your overall opinion of this map?
  9. The operator’s primary or ideal role in the team. Bandit can be used in 2 different ways. You can either use him as the second roamer, backing Yager up whenever he doesn't have a nitro cell. Or you can use Bandit to hold a certain position, keep enemies back and do the bandit trick when needed. In Pro League both these roles get used. Primarily the second. The operator’s gadget and how it will help the team achieve its goals. Like most people know, it can be used to do the bandit trick. Taking out the enemy exothermic charges. However it can also be used to give the enemies position away. Putting it on a deployable shield or barbed wire to give away enemies position, so that you know from where they push. The operator’s loadout, and how best to optimize it. This includes primaries, secondaries, and secondary gadgets. Obviously you want to use the mp7 with acog, because that thing resembles almost the smg-11 just lower firerate and more bullets. However, that doesn't mean the M870 isn't good. It has been used in season 2 finals pro league. If you're holding a wall and the entrance is close to you, using the shotgun is not entirely bad. There's only 1 pistol, so not much to add. Nitro is highly recommend, but again, bandit is one of the few operator that can have 3 barbed wire. So barbed wire in certain situations can actually be a way better pick. What maps and game modes does this operator do well on? He does well in maps that are roamer friendly, or that have a wall you can hold. Like Church in Club House, Trophy Room in Chalet, Bedroom in Oregon,... As for game modes, like in all my posts. All operators do well in all game modes, just in certain situations you have to pay attention to the objective. What maps and game modes does this operator struggle with? Bandit struggles in maps where there is no position to hold, or a non-roam-friendly map. Examples are Kafe Dostoyevsky, Bank,... Game Modes is same like always. What teammates synergize well with this operator? Obviously you'd want a Yager to protect you from grenades would there be a posibility they could throw in a grenade. Pulse can be used if they try to confuse you with the planting. Or you can use a valkyrie camera to know where they plant. What opposing operators check or counter this operator? Operators that have grenades, Thatcher. Reason is self-explanatory. What strategies have you adopted while playing this operator? What is something that a new player should know when playing this operator, or what is something you know that would help a veteran player take that next step? Definitely use the acog on the mp7, it's basically a sniper rifle with the acog. Put your volume on max, and make your teammates shut up, so you can hear the thermite charge being planted. Use the double roaming strategy with Bandit, whenever there's a shield or blackbeard giving him trouble, you're there to either crossfire, trade or throw your nitro. What is your overall opinion of this operator? Where would you rank them among the other operators? I wouldn't rate him very high, because there are better roaming operators out there than Bandit. And the bandit trick can be easily countered. Pro players don't even bother anymore to open the outside wall. BUT he can be useful in certain situations so I won't rate him very low. But he's not that useful as he used to be.
  10. Bandit's biggest strategy on places that have important breach points, 'juggling'. You need to wait by the middle wall you know they're going to Thermite, and when you hear Thermite plant you should be able to determine if he planted on the panel in front or to the left or right of you. Plant your bandit battery right away when he plants his charge and you can destroy it. Kanal - Boat Supplies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57neqnL2kKw House - Garage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjMN3o1I9VU That being said, the Bandit trick is starting to get played out to the point that its too dangerous to actually do, good teams will always get you if you do it. But, if you're gold or below you can probably still use it. I started doing this trick in January and it was glorious back then, people didn't even know what was happening. As of ~March I won't even try it anymore unless I know I'm playing aginst golds, because anyone who knows what you're doing can probably kill you, especially Capitao now, but frags and floors can be opened up everywhere you can do it and you can be killed easily.

The operator’s primary or ideal role in the team. (DISCLAIMER: Operators can be played in a number of different ways. There is no single way to play an operator. This is probably the most subjective segment of the discussion series, and hopefully will spark debates or help us learn things we did not know before.) 12. I mean I haven't played since they increased the light level but i am still 317, I reckon I could still do those.
  13. Noooooooope. These games have always turned me into a pussy, ever since I was a kid I could never play them but always had friends play it for me so I could watch.
  14. I can write out simples guides on them if you need to. Once you get Oryx strategy mode down it's actually a hundred times easier than the old conventional way.
  15. I want to roll play as Ted Laso,
  16. I would buy FIFA for the first time ever to play with y'all.
  17. The harmonica music is what does it.
  18. None that I've seen, but then again I haven't dug around looking.
  19. Bandit is one of the best roamers for house, his speed and gun's ads speed make him a monster. It REALLY helps to know where destructible ceilings/floors are. For example, in the front lobby area beside the stairs and before the kitchen, you can destroy that floor and aim into the garage behind the far car. Don't reinforce the kid's bedroom. Take a shotgun and nitro cell and open up the walls. So much easier and if you open up the walls correctly you don't even have to enter the room to kill attackers if they're in there. You will fail to defend 9 times out of 10 if you reinforce the walls and force yourself to funnel in through the only door.
  20. I guess I've never understood this, this entire process is cyclical. Is the pressure on him? He's made his money- now off to the next project where people will aware up and down not to preorder... until they do... rinse and repeat.
