  1. Glad I forgot about the release. This is apparently an abortion. The competitive community is pissed.
  2. I wish it would remain, but it's a promotional map. Oregon left the competitive map pool 2 seasons ago but is still in ranked. New operators? Goyo is crazy strong, amaru is shit, Kali is mediocre and Wamai is strong.
  3. I mean, teams are invited unless you win your season... so... Anyways, going to be an awesome event. Can't wait to be there and watch the matches. Road to SI playlist is solid, battle pass has amazing value and 30% of it goes towards the prize pool. Wish the map would stay and be placed into ranked, best one they've had in a long time. (basically a remake of Oregon)
  4. If anyone has it on PC, reach out to me on Discord.
  5. Happy to see you guys playing this game again. Outside of CSGO it is still the premier FPS out there.
  6. Instant buy for me. Via the FG App
  7. Intermittent fasting is also lovely for some folks and is something I've been doing for a long time. Via the FG App
  8. Absolutely solid and I'm hooked on it. Via the FG App
  9. CSGO is the only game I know of, and BF4 where the bullets come out of your gun, not your eyes. Via the FG App
  10. Lovely that the people who focus on the esports side do not need to pay money for a DLC just for PvE. I'll pass on this one since OW will have all of the maps and characters for PVP. Odd choice to make a second title rather than DLC. Via the FG App
  11. Cool story, but D3 reskinned. I'll pass on first glance. Via the FG App
  12. Good. Via the FG App
  13. Since we originally unveiled our next-generation console in April, we know that there’s been a lot of excitement and interest in hearing more about what the future of games will bring. Today I’m proud to share that our next-generation console will be called PlayStation 5, and we’ll be launching in time for Holiday 2020. These updates may not be a huge surprise, but we wanted to confirm them for our PlayStation fans, as we start to reveal additional details about our vision for the next generation. WIRED magazine covered these updates and more in a story that posted this morning. The “more” refers to something I’m quite excited about – a preview of the new controller that will ship with PlayStation 5. One of our goals with the next generation is to deepen the feeling of immersion when you play games, and we had the opportunity with our new controller to reimagine how the sense of touch can add to that immersion. To that end, there are two key innovations with the PlayStation 5’s new controller. First, we’re adopting haptic feedback to replace the “rumble” technology found in controllers since the 5th generation of consoles. With haptics, you truly feel a broader range of feedback, so crashing into a wall in a race car feels much different than making a tackle on the football field. You can even get a sense for a variety of textures when running through fields of grass or plodding through mud. The second innovation is something we call adaptive triggers, which have been incorporated into the trigger buttons (L2/R2). Developers can program the resistance of the triggers so that you feel the tactile sensation of drawing a bow and arrow or accelerating an off-road vehicle through rocky terrain. In combination with the haptics, this can produce a powerful experience that better simulates various actions. Game creators have started to receive early versions of the new controller, and we can’t wait to see where their imagination goes with these new features at their disposal. While there’s much more to share about PlayStation 5 in the year ahead, we have plenty of blockbuster experiences coming your way on PS4, including Death Stranding, The Last of Us Part II, and Ghost of Tsushima. I’d like to thank all PlayStation fans for continuing the journey with us, as we embark on the future of games. https://blog.us.playstation.com/2019/10/08/an-update-on-next-gen-playstation-5-launches-holiday-2020/

    Rugby

Japan has continued to grow it's sport over the past 10 years due to a very healthy influx of expats coming over there to play. I love the growth they have went through as a rugby nation.
  17. Sounds like a normal day of Diddums playing video games.
  18. I did not pay attention to this. Thank goodness I saw this thread.
  19. Have you done a side by side build on upgrade versus new build/ salvage job? For all of us when we are asked what the budget is to go on the side of cheaper but realistically if you were to buy a new GPU or CPU what would you be comfortable spending. If for a slight more we upgrade multiple pieces then you might as well `buy a pair of $100 boots once than 5 pairs of $20 boots'
  20. I think you are better off with a splash page / gateway that bring you to the forums. FG /socials (Twitter/Discord) /forums [end] It'll be too much to maintain.
  21. 100% Discord, it's better in every which way possible to WhatsApp (Mobile chats, groups, etc) and allows bots to post forum threads in there once they are submitted. It integrates the forum which you want. Chat box makes me think it's a 1990's Geocities website.
  22. You need to ditch the dead sections still.
