  1. You need to look into the kaizo community that started this a long time ago with SMW hacks for SNES. Panga, Poobear, MitchFlowerPower, there are some insane fucking levels and they usually race them at GamesDoneQuick. There channels are below. The Pit of Pangea levels in SMM1 are crazy. https://www.youtube.com/user/PangaTAS https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8xg5j_amPUIedzS6_nymJA https://www.youtube.com/user/nilladh
  2. A thing that people don't realize. Kenny Loggins confirmed that he will be doing a remake of Danger Zone just for this movie.
  3. Theoretically speaking, if you had bought every single item that was introduced to the Blackmarket, this is how much you would have spent. Operation First Strike: CoD Points = 44,900 CP USD = $345.35 Operation Absolute Zero: CoD Points = 55,100 CP USD = $423.80 Operation Grand Heist: CoD Points = 28,300 CP USD = $217.67 Operation Spectre Rising: CoD Points = 20,100 CP USD = $154.60 Operation Days of Summer: CoD Points = 23,800 CP USD = $183.06 Grand Total: CoD Points = 172,200 CP USD = $1,324.48 This means that if you purchased the standard edition of the game at launch for $60 USD, purchasing everything from Blackjack’s shop would have you spending just over 22x the amount of the base game.
  4. ?
  5. I believe to sum up both of the games- FIFA has evolved into a gambling game with soccer mechanics. The cash cow is solely the FIFA Ultimate Team and nothing more. PES is more about the true soccer experience. I think PES would gain booming popularity if it became a "game as service" with one single base game that is met with seasons or dlc whenever a new mode is designed. (They aren't really innovators, it's just a roster update)
  6. No. Occasionally they allow you to port your account from PC to XB or PS, but not the other way around and then that change is permanent.
  7. I have reinstalled this on PC. It hurts not having my MR12 account from PS4 but I do have my Frost Prime on PC so I am still happy. A lot has changed that's for sure.
  8. These dudes are such dickheads. Fifa & Madden blind packs made them $1.1 BILLION last year (50% of their live service revenue) and accounted for 21% of their total revenue so of course they need to bullshit the public on this. Guys, robbing a bank is not a crime, it's just a surprise withdrawal. 🤣
  9. Source EA’s implementation of loot boxes has come under plenty of fire, even relative to the general outcry against the mechanic. The pushback against Battlefront 2 loot boxes was so intense that EA reworked the entire system, and the wild popularity of FIFA Ultimate Team means that it has gotten scrutiny even from watchdog groups and governmental organisations. Kerry Hopkins, EA’s VP of legal and government affairs, insists that the company’s randomised purchases aren’t loot boxes, but rather “surprise mechanics.” In an oral evidence session with the UK Parliament’s Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport Committee, Hopkins compares the mechanics to surprise toys, which have been around “for years, whether it’s Kinder Eggs, or Hatchimals, or LOL Surprise.” In response to questions from Scottish National Party MP, Brendan O’Hara, Hopkins says “We do think the way that we have implemented these kinds of mechanics – and FIFA of course is our big one, our FIFA Ultimate Team and our packs – is actually quite ethical and quite fun, quite enjoyable to people. “We do agree with the UK gambling commission, the Australian gambling commission, and many other gambling commissions that they aren’t gambling, and we also disagree that there’s evidence that shows it leads to gambling. Instead we think it’s like many other products that people enjoy in a healthy way, and like the element of surprise.” Obviously, that also means that EA disagrees with the anti-loot box stance taken by Dutch and Belgian regulators. “They decided – the regulator, not the courts – decided that under their local law, these mechanics under certain circumstances violate the law.” You can hear all these comments in full through the archive of the Parliament broadcast, starting at 15:43:15. The UK government’s investigation on gaming was announced earlier this year, and it concerns much more than just loot boxes – everything from game addiction to the ways the government can support the VR industry is on the list. Whether any legislative action results from these investigations remains to be seen.

    Rugby

MLR Championship Match is now on YouTube. (Legion and Seattle Seawolves on 6/6/19 @ Torero Stadium.)

    Rugby

We go to Las Vegas every year for that stage of the HSBC Sevens and it's an absolute blast. Just hanging out at UNLV's stadium for 10 hours and then going to the strip and getting hammered.

    Rugby

I never understood rugby league. I played a handful of matches but it was all of the parts of rugby I loved that are missing in league. However, I will say that until our elite rugby programs took off here in the States that League was the best form of the sport to bridge the cap for Americans who love the NFL to get into Rugby. MLR is doing amazingly here and I'm happy Union is gaining popularity.
  13. GOG are amazing. The fact they make all of their games DRM free is a huge move.
  14. Personally I'd love to be a fly on the wall in a few of those board meetings where developers/publishers decided to not use Steam because they didn't want to lose revenue - but then took on developing/maintaining their own launcher. I'd love to see a comparison of costs, etc.
  15. Nope. Some developers don't want to pay the fees that come with being on Steam. Some developers make their own launcher if their catalog is big enough. Some developers do it because they want to reach a certain market. There's really no outstanding red flags about any of the launchers; my rule of thumb is I general try to stay as consolidated as possible but nothing truly affects my decision to buy a game unless there are security concerns. You can play PC games with PC players, full stop. (Launcher does not matter) Personally I think Origin is terrible because it's slow, clunky and not easy to navigated. Epic Game Store has a real shit business practice going on right now as they want to try to undercut steam by throwing loads of money at developers to make them EGS exclusive, in return making some fans livid. (The EGS Spyware nonsense was debunked) Blizzard's launcher is simple, smooth, and love it. Papa Steam has everything you could ever want. Now GOG is really cool as all of their games are DRM free. You can literally share your games with your friends and they don't care. Uplay is solid, a little clunky though.
  16. He'll be back. With Doc I believe it's all an act, even his affair. He's not a moron. The amount of money Mixer, YT, or FB would throw at him would be insane if it were true.
  17. 8K, 120hz TVs are also insanely expensive. (5,000+)
  18. Be mindful that these are all buzzwords for both the PS5 and this Xbox. The plus side is is slight under a high end PC. I would expect most games could run 1080p or 1440p at 60fps, and some 4K 60fps depending on the engine; you're not hitting 120 FPS though, full stop. The 8k will most likely be an "upscale" type nonsense just so they can say 8k every 11 seconds. 8K and 120Hz will be thrown around a lot this coming generation, but all that means, I believe, is HDMI 2.1 display output support. Grabbing a snippet from the Games Subreddit. While buzzwords like 8K and 120 Hz sound either mindblowing or misleading, depending on who you're asking, there are many good things to come out of both Project Scarlett and the next PlayStation supporting HDMI 2.1. Just quickly on 8K, it's entirely possible that 8K technology will decrease in price as drastically as 4K has over the last 7 years. At the very least, Project Scarlett and the next PlayStation should be capable of doing things like outputting the system UI at 8K, or 8K media playback (assuming things like video codecs and/or DRM don't get in the way in future). The big advantage of having HDMI 2.1, discarding the established buzzwords, is better support for more advanced secondary features at resolutions that are already popular like 1080p and 4K. The extra bandwidth of HDMI 2.1 will enable full HDR10 support for resolutions like 4K at higher refresh rates without needing to resort to chroma subsampling which can reduce the clarity of things like text. 4:2:2 chroma subsampling is required in order to do HDR10 at 4K/60 with HDMI 2.0b, but with HDMI 2.1, HDR10 is supported with full chroma intact all the way up to and including 144 Hz. At lower resolutions like 1080p and 1440p, HDR10 will have full chroma sampling at 240 Hz. HDMI 2.1 also supports features such as Dynamic HDR (HDR grading that changes frame-by-frame), eARC (allows for full Dolby Atmos over an audio return channel link), DSC (display stream compression for higher resolution and refresh rate content), and full HDMI standard variable refresh rate support (FreeSync over HDMI is currently a bit of a hack). In my opinion, it's these advantages that are going to be more noticeable to the vast majority of users over the next few years.
  19. How asinine is a move to make a sequel rather than continue the title...
  20. There's no point in using text chat. Send out your flare, enjoy the fight. Perhaps chat in lobbies if you need a specific part but there's no reason to chat.
  21. Overall extremely promising. I like the direction they are headed in.
  22. Honestly if Sony keeps up this nonsense with being isolated they are going to fuck themselves. Sony has always had the better hardware in the console market but that's only going to go so far, especially when beta test reports of Stadia have been SOLID.
  23. Cross-save for PC, XBox and Stadia is all but confirmed while Sony does not know what they want to do with it. Going free to play explains the new Eververse store that has everyone upset.
  24. Also I can play with you on PC!
