    Watched Palm Springs last night on Amazon. Kind of like a modern Groundhog Day. It had a lot of genuine laugh out loud moments, we were pissing ourselves at points. Highly recommend it.

    Battlefield get an extra life it seems. If they don't fuck up BF6 it's bye bye COD next year. To think, when they did the new Modern Warfare I actually thought they knew what they were doing. Like Max Romeo says, "one step forward, two steps back"

    In RE4 you start from a village and it's used as kind of a hub, I wonder if this is expanding upon that?

    They hobbled their own console and I still can't wrap my head around it. If Microsoft pulled that shit everyone would be up in arms, so I'd love to know Sony's secret. That kind of loyalty is gold dust.

    Race 2 and 3 have been added to the calendar. Race 2 is N800 and BOP will be turned off. Race 3 is a race of tactics. Full power will not get you twice around the track. I'd advise against pitting as slipstream is king. Anyone is capable if winning Race 3 but I suggest checking the best car in advance as it's all about speed and fuel use.

    Must admit this trailer pulled me in a lot more than the previous one. I'll say this, if the combat/gun play feels good, I'm now actually interested in this game.

    The only thing they need to do is put these games on PC. I'd love a PC version of Days Gone, it was only the gun play that let that game down and would not be an issue on PC. Nothing these people do surprises me but remastering a remaster is peak 2020s.

    According to Steam, I last played ED on 19 October 2015.... I imagine it has changed a bit in that time 🤪 I feel like a traitor playing any other space game than star citizen but I'll have a look at this again at some point to see what's up.

    I'm trying not to put on my "capitalism caused this" cop-out cough cough, but then I look at it in terms of general organisation and if it makes sense to reward the short-term thinking; the greed; and waste of resources and human beings our current mode of economics is famous for. I also look at the developers/workers/people actually creating and making the games not being the owners of their creations and why freedom loving people would allow themselves to be so abused. I hear union activity and mutual aid is increasing in the sector but it's woeful right now. And everyone plays a part in some way I suppose. We're certainly not helped by all the stupid fucks who will buy any old shit if it has a bit of sparkly tinsel stuck on the cover (which occasionally includes me to be fair). 😁

    I would say it's only a disaster in terms of expectations. Massively overhyped and buggy as hell, it could have been so much better....but the story, side missions and general ambience hooked me in. I've played 50+ hours and completed less than 10% of the game. I only stopped for a bit because I wanted to see what the updates bring.

    Not a lot really but if STALKER 2 is released and is decent then I'll look at that. There are a few interesting Warhammer universe games due out and I'll be watching if any of them come good. I'll have a think in case anything else comes to mind.
