  1. The deluge of posts tonight has nothing to do with nervousness regarding an inevitable giant killing in Sheffield 🙈😥😅
  2. Looks amazing
  3. This mode looks really good.
  4. I don't know why but this guy tends to amuse me
  5. Sorry mate, I value my mental health and don't read the Sun 🙂 You might have to write it out 👍
  6. Yeah all a bit silly. I'm more intrigued about these blue haired women @J4MES OX4D is perpetually scared of 😅
  7. Bravo Blackburn Rovers 👊🙂
  8. Not actually game footage but interesting nonetheless
  9. Yeah, I uninstalled the PC version but kept it on Xbox in case I feel like returning. Just doesn't grab me. For all the apparent inventiveness the game doesn't seem to have its own personality.
  10. So yeah, of course I picked this game up, inevitable. It's an excellent game, or it will be with some tweaks and bug fixes. Some things, like the inventory, crafting and building is overly complicated, which takes some getting used to. But most mechanics and UI are smooth. It also looks great. I don't expect to play too much for now but I'll be keeping an eye on development, and if anyone else picks it up let me know.
  11. I hear the launch last night caused Steam to crash 😅
  12. I've been playing it on PS5 occasionally but now it's in a much better place I've also reinstalled on PC.
  13. Great write up 👊
  14. The title of this thread keeps making me think of David Bowie 😅 Reliance on satellites is probably not a good move. The Chinese have devices now they can deploy in space to grab them or push them into decaying orbits etc, as an example.
  15. Totally agree with @Riff Machine about the immersion. The accents are jarring, yet when you play the radio in the car it's Russian language music. So stupid. I runs pretty well, I have all settings maxed and I'm getting 60fps, not bad for the old 1080ti. Too early to say much else, I've only played an hour. Melee is average, not a patch on something like Dying Light, so hope the gunplay is better.
  16. It's only a matter of time before I pick this up, early access again but it looks damn good.
  17. Had a go of the new track, also tried out the Sophy races, pretty cool.
  18. Liverpool 2 - 5 Real Madrid LFC actually went 2 nil up but it was a night of very silly goals mixed in with a couple of beauties. That Vinicius is quality.
  19. Reviews are coming in, and a fairy mixed response to it. I will try it out on Gamepass, possibly on Xbox but most likely on PC.
  20. I'd like to see some consistency but we seem very Jekyll and Hyde right now. I was very pleased for Emerson Royal, he gets a lot of stick but he's a trier and I love that about him.
  21. The SteamDeck has helped tremendously when looking at backlog games, Prey for example, is finally getting a play through. Aside from that I've mostly been finishing Division 2 dlc in terms of older games.
  22. As a teenage environmental protestor in the 90s it was clear to me that the majority of people are too caught up in their own petty bullshit to do anything about the environment, or anything else for that matter. I'm just glad I'll likely miss all the really horrific stuff coming our way in a couple of decades. How we organise ourselves as a species has done us in. Capitalism has ruined us. I remember as a kid when they finally banned CFCs. The corporations had been denying any issues for decades, saying it was a Marxist plot, but they couldn't really hide the big fuck off hole in the ozone layer which just got bigger and bigger. We were are now, it's too late to fix anything as far as I can see. Just look at the world, people arguing over bullshit, inventing ridiculous conspiracy theories, too scared too look at the real cause of our ills, like Nero fiddling while Rome burned. I'll stick to my bicycle 🙈😅
