  1. Not quite my teenage years, but I got a record player when I was 10/11 years old and this was the first 7inch I bought for it 🙂
  2. If it makes Bobby poorer then I won't shed a tear. I wonder how much money etc Sony promised in bribes, because the reason is complete bullshit 😅
  3. The Many-Headed Hydra: The Hidden History of the Revolutionary Atlantic by Marcus Rediker A very interesting read from a couple bottom up type historians, the ones who write history from the perspective of the common people. I've just started, so we'll see if I find anything to critique. The dangers of working in a bookshop on Sundays means I get access to a lot of sci fi, politics, history and more, and from academics rather than some loudmouth on YouTube. It's great. Particularly when we live in a world where some supposedly civilised nations like to ban books these days. It's easier to ban books than guns I suppose 🫡
  4. It's a good game and I quite enjoy it solo, the combat and movement, for me, are far superior to Density but totally agree that it seems very, indeed overly, complicated to the new player.
  5. Yep, I have it installed on PC and PS5. Maybe tomorrow if you fancy? A few others have it as well, so maybe we can squad up.
  6. I suppose you have to applaud the audacity. The gaming industry, much like the energy industry has been raking in money into the billions, profit-wise, in recent times but its people at the bottom asking to be paid a little more that cause inflation. Lol.
  7. I don't think anyone can manage the ParisShitGermaine monstrosity. Poch at Chelsea, with a ridiculous amount of top class players to choose from, I can't see him failing personally. It would be like a dagger in the gut to us Spuds and Levy knows it. If we lose Kane as well, it will be an interesting summer...
  8. Yeah, with Stellini gone now too we're left with Mason running the team. We'll probably end up with that English geezer coaching a French team cos he's good at Football Manager 😭😅
  9. I said it when they sacked Poch it would be a decision to regret. I never understood it, never will.
  10. Here's a nice little video answering some of the most asked questions by non SC players. The game has come a long way, a long way to go still, but more and more features have really filled the game out, with lots of things to do and lots of missions, plus the occasional mass event.
  11. Yep, bang out out of order, but Blackburn still have it in their own hands to make the play offs and batter Luton on the way to the glory land 🙂
  12. I'll give it another go today, it might just be the PC version but too many frame drops and enemies taking a whole mag from my AR and turning around and one shotting me, for me to enjoy it. But it was late and I was tired so I'll hold back and play some more and see how it goes...
  13. Not to worry, I played it past night. It's shit 🫡
  14. I plan to pick it up when it's in a sale. Does look fun!
  15. I've gotten PC access now, so I'll have a go once it installs...
  16. Hated the GameBoy by the way. Could never understand why people raved about it.
  17. We should try and sort a night out, more than a few of us own the game. But I wouldn't hold my breath 😅
  18. I had a Donkey Kong game&watch handheld when I was 11. Classic. But yeah, while the Switch is very decent, I love my SteamDeck.
  19. Lampard. First ever Chelsea manager to lose their first 4 games in a row 😁
  20. To be fair to Luton, they beat the wandering south londoners in the 1988 League Cup final when I was a youngster, so if that kind of thing comes along again I won't complain 😅
  21. Please, for the love of all that is sacred, do not let Luton fucking Town into the Premiership. You have one task, make it so 🙈🤗
  22. I just share for the sake of it as I know its not an FG game. I jump on occasionally as I enjoy the shooting and it's a little more chill than CoD.
