  1. Very enjoyable little game, I have it on xbox 360 and pc
  2. Thanks Jordie, I will probably take you up on that at some point, if the previous one was anything to go by
  3. If you can access a membership card I could pick up yours with mine, not sure if they'll reach general sale.... otherwise can ask around to see if anyone I know with a card isn't going, just let me know, innit. Hotel will involve sleeping with my cats
  4. I had a look at MGS Ground Zeroes, decided to give it a go too
  5. I was in The Bell and Hare after the game, they had a tv on in the beer garden showing the draw for the semi finals. Getting Sheffield was (here I jinx everything) a touch. The Geordies on the 'terraces' gave a good account of themselves, long way home for those boys.
  6. Dark Souls 2. Steam (and James for letting me know) have made me a happy boy today. Lucky day yesterday too with the 4 nil against the Geordies. They say luck comes in threes...I should buy a lottery ticket tomorrow
  7. ^Steam guru, guiding me through the fog, cheers James!
  8. They haven't released a date yet, at least according to IGN.
  9. ^This Jan 27 PC release day cannot come soon enough for me. That boat in the trailer looks like a map from BLOPS2.
  10. The auction baffles me, that and the trading cards I've never really looked into properly.
  11. Steam Winter Sale starts Thursday I hear on the grapevine. If Dark Souls 2 doesn't appear G2A will get my do ray me
  12. Liverpool should be okay against Besiktas, I'd say they'll field a strong team and I think Demba Ba is out long term (he was their only goal threat). Them and us (THFC) probably see Europa as a route through to the CL if our 'top four' dreams fail to materialise.
  13. This attack will be eaten and digested and shat out just like every other tragedy, empty words and actions will follow and it will happen again and again. It's tragic, as is the following (taken from WHO). Nearly 9 million children under the age of five die every year, according to 2007 figures. Around 70% of these early child deaths are due to conditions that could be prevented or treated with access to simple, affordable interventions. Leading causes of death in under-five children are pneumonia, diarrhoea and health problems during the first month of life. Over one third of all child deaths are linked to malnutrition. Children in developing countries are ten times more likely to die before the age of five than children in developed countries.
  14. I'll go along with that, though I could say the same of an act of terrorism in the UK or US. Governments tend to write cheques that the rest of us have to pay.
  15. My little lady is going to visit her folks in Barcelona for three whole weeks. I shouldn't let Dave or Rich know that, as I value my liver I stay at home to look after the cats, or at least that's my excuse. Barcelona is better visited in better weather. We live and work together so I seriously value some 'Phil-time'. This does not necessarily mean three weeks of wanking, smoking and playing computer games...but it comes pretty close Gift-wise we're the same as some of you guys, we don't really go for crimbo presents. I bought her a £500 yamama keyboard for her birthday in September, she was dying for it...... she never touches it An old Irish saying from my mum this time of year regarding presents was: You'll get a doll, a drum, a kick up the bum, and a chase a round the table.
  16. Agree completely. Harry Kane is doing well but Ade is off his head and gone to see his ju ju witch doctor* or some such bollocks....and Soldado couldn't score in a brothel, with a bucketful if valium. *if you can believe any of the daft stories floating around lol
  17. I'm going Tottenham v Newcastle on Wednesday, and I'm worried. We won today today but were not entirely convincing. Another Eriksen last minute match winner
  18. I've never tried a Skyrim mod but this looks dangerously good, I've been watching Gopher a bit on youtube and its about time I gave it a go.
  19. Hmmm I wonder if it's worth a go on PC. Only MW2 works well for me. Cheers Jimbo. you're welcome to slap me for calling you jimbo btw x
  20. Dropkick Murphys have been dominating Spotify for me at work today, this is one of their less punky ones:
  21. Waiting until the last ten minutes to try and win a game is not a successful tactic. Weird line up I thought last night, don't know why Coutinho doesn't start every game, he's class. Plus why no Lallana when you're playing his chum Lambert up front? Basle could have won by more, they're a canny team. They knocked my lot (Spurs) out of the Europa quarter finals in a penalty shoot out last year.
  22. Crimbo, punk rock style, apologies in advance http://youtu.be/h8FSXXeDAUI
  23. Someone once told me that its music that puts the colour in our lives, great post dude, the video to 'Another Brick in the Wall' is one of my earliest childhood memories
  24. It's a worrying trend. I remember when Fallout New Vegas came out buggy and people went nuts, lately its becoming 'business as usual'.
  25. ^that's brilliant, I didn't know that. I didn't get a chance to play yesterday as I was drinking beer with a pixie in covent garden
