  1. For some reason you had issues using the touch pad to bring up the little menu, in addition to only using your fists, which on me were actually quite effective
  2. Spurs will lose v Fulham, mark my words
  3. I have a similar set up to Rib's planned build, just a little older. NZXT Phantom V2 White Full Tower Gaming Case GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD3H Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) ATX Motherboard Intel Core i7-4770K 4.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 MSI Twin FrozR GeForce GTX 770 OC 2048MB GDDR5 Graphics Card 250GB Samsung 840 Series 2.5" SATA 6GB/s (SATA-III) Solid State Drive SSD 2TB Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 3.5" SATA III Hard Drive - HDD Corsair Hydro H80i Watercooling Performance Closed-Loop CPU Cooler 750W Corsair Builder Series CX750M 80PLUS Bronze Modular Power Supply Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB DDR3 RAM My PC will be 4 years old this summer (cost about £1200 all told) and I've got my eye on a new GPU. Again like Rib most likely the 1070....or 1080. If the timing is right I can probably let you have my 770 as it still gets me great frames on ultra settings in most games. SSDs are much cheaper since I bought mine too and you probably don't need the uber hyper threading CPU either. I knew little about PCs until I decided to get one, it's an enjoyable learning curve. Diddums can vouch for that, unfortunately
  4. Zigackly. Publishers like this - where I actually want to play the game - just end up sending me to CD key websites because of their ridiculousness.
  5. Lot of good games in there, looks like the popular ones are thin on the ground now though!
  6. Yeah I tried last night and you can only link the steam overlay, and it's not a great idea I'll get the full game on Steam, I have a few games on Steam that require the Uplay launcher but I read somewhere it could now be done vice versa, it can't
  7. Via Uplay. Though I suspect I can link it to my Steam account too. It's the 'starter' edition which means you get all the maps but not the operators. For £11.99 I'm downloading as I type.
  8. What I said on whatsapp earlier
  9. I'd be up for bringing back the shoutbox. A lot of activity via whatsapp could be served via a shoutbox on the forum. No biggie, just an idea
  10. I'm not the greatest hardcore fan but there's something about this band I've always liked.
  11. I pretty much stopped playing Warhammer when I realised how they were drip feeding content via DLC. SEGA, seriously? I'll wait for a while down the road when they amalgamate all the DLC into one and catch it in a Steam sale. What a shame...
  12. But boy does it take its time getting started. I was showing it to Mina to see if she'd like it but it takes so long to actually start she got bored and left ok maybe I bored her
  13. We need more for the meet up. Please sign Lee's form so we know who's coming on.
  14. until

Who's up for it then rocketeers?
  15. until

I think more people need to get out their voting buttons
  16. Too late, but you two going at it constantly probably means its a pretty prickly sort of clan. I found out that there's also an FG clan from PS3 days, so if folk would prefer to go on the old one let me know..and send me an invite
  17. Invite on its way
  18. ^ lol I get that Maintenance. I've had my PC for 3.5 years. Other than an electricity surge frying a port which meant I had to attach a new ethernet to the motherboard there has been zero maintenance required. Geforce Experience optimises my games for me and I can play about with settings to my hearts content but only if i feel like tinkering. And who doesn't like a bit of tinkering eh You only have to worry "will my machine play it?" if you have a shit PC. I'll update the GPU this year, don't really need to, but the Nvidia 10 series is awesome. My CPU is over clocked to 4.4ghz so i may never need to touch it. The only drawback for PC is having to buy my games at a cheaper price than condole, that's really annoying
  19. A fool and his money are easily parted. But yes, completely pointless
  20. It's a great game. My lack of playing it was mostly down to not being able to be online in rhe evenings when everyone else was on. That's been sorted for the foseeable future. I did try to play last night but first PSN was down and then when that came back online the PS4 RB6 servers were down...
  21. Yeah I like having toys when I can afford them and the Scorpio is intriguing...but PC...
  22. PS4 will be my last console purchase ever I think, now I have the Steam Link I can play from the sofa just like console. My GPU GTX 770 is ancient now but I'm still playing most games on ultra settings and getting 60+ FPS. I've got 200+ games and room for plenty more. If I want to add more storage, no problem. PSN is wank. I had an xbox 360 for many years, rarely was xbox live unavailable. PSN seems to be down at least once a week. My PS4 is only a year old, new generation, and I'm already noticing issues. My (2nd) xbox 360 which I keep on the bedroom tv works better. Enough for me to still pay for xbox live. Crossover between xbox and pc is getting more and more blurred. I hate aim assist. On PC aiming and shooting is a joy, and skill based. I can use a controller but prefer not to. I'm having a lunchtime pint and i'm rambling. Hey ho.
  23. It's a fighting game btw in case you're not aware...looks a bit like Chivalry to me
  24. Thanks to James I had a go on the beta for this last week. Not overly impressed and prefer the close up combat to the actual sniping...
  25. Debating on whether to get the new season pass. New maps are free but I kind of like having instant access to the new operators. I might even switch over to PC only for the new season of this game as the shooting is more enjoyable with kb and m.
