    So, the inevitable has happened, there's now a modded DayZ map based on STALKER. Early days but I'm sure it's not only @Diddums and myself that look fondly upon the STALKER games and I'll be keeping an eye on this.

    The whole set up is very weird, almost like it's designed to make us hate the protesters more than the polluters. Sadly I do not think the things going on re plastic etc Didds describes is enough or at a fast enough pace. We've been good citizens, doing what society tells us we should do.     The problem is that within every company there are people pushing in different directions. Ubisoft are no different. Short term profiteering is winning in the boardroom. Micro Ts bring in the extra money. Can't be disputed when it's all there on a spreadsheet. Revenue. Profits.     I like the recent changes they've added to the game. I hear another track (Spa) might be coming too. I've been trying to learn the G29 driving wheel, which is a lot of fun. Its harder work than I expected and it takes me a while to get my feet happy with the pedals but it's very enjoyable. I'm about 2 seconds off my controller pace which is good, it's coming down all the time... but I'm much more prone to error. What I like about it is that I now get a much better feel for the car, for the racing line and I'm taking corners better. Once I've really got to grips with it I can see me finally being able to drop ABS. It is much easier to drive the wet tracks than with a controller. Also my cat likes sitting behind the wheel and partially blocks my view.

    I got as far as the Warmind missions before dropping. I've jumped back in again recently. Not sure if to go for this and whether to go PC or PS4. I have too many other games I enjoy playing, to be able to dedicate to the grind, so will see. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

    What an outstanding game that was. Completing the game gave you access to extra secret levels, which you'd probably have to pay extra for these days.
