    I'd be interested to know if the Doc ever had any desire to visit Iran? You do seem to like the Iberian peninsula and just wondering if you have ever ventured further? I suppose you have in-laws in Iran? It's been very interesting, if very dangerous times in Iran lately. The western media barely comments on it but I have my sources, despite the internet blackout.     I'm happy they're paying more attention to Spec Ops, it was the only real disappointment for me at launch. Wish they'd poll the players if they do old maps and ask us what we'd like. Kowloon and Favela for me.

    This was the interesting buit of the article for me, plus this bit: “He says superheroes are written and drawn by people who've never stood up for their own rights against the companies that employ them - saying they appear "to be largely employed as cowardice compensators". Which might be a dig referring to the comic making business, which has been historically pretty shitty for artists and writers, at least in the UK. I don’t know if old Alan is feeling a bit sad about the state of the world and the fact that – in his eyes – adults are more likely to know the ins and out of the Marvel universe than how their own country or society works. Maybe that’s my prejudice coming in too though, as it rings true to me.

    Deer Isle, that's the map I was referring to, though DayZ RP have stopped using it now as the creator won't allow it to be used by monetized servers.

    Sada plays like a noob, but does it well, as it gives you an understanding of how hard the game is. Frankie is Frankie and hope to see him doing his own content again soon.

    The Star Citizen convention took place over the weekend. I'll post some videos when I get on my PC. For now if you create an account on the website, you get access to the game, plus a ship, and it's worth a trial to see if you can run it at least.

    It was announced a while ago and a lot of folk were pretty unhappy about it basically because 'they already bought it for Arma 3'. Also, everyone wants Namalsk and Taviana as they have different assets, buildings, vibe etc whereas this one uses mostly the same buildings and terrain as Chernarus. I'll be picking it up, a new map is a new map after all. There are other maps out there in modland, DayZ RP have an map, Hunter Island, but I haven't tried it out. DayZ has gotten quite popular again lately, just wish they'd add bikes and helicopters because I'm tired of moaning about it.
