  1. It's plenty big if you click on the picture Thanks for sharing, nice one.
  2. Kick 'em in the nuts, it's what I do!
  3. Folks, please remember that Sennex and myself do this in our free time. It's not our job, we don't get paid for it, we do it because we enjoy it. With that in mind, if you have any issues, please report it via the forum, and not in game. When we're online, it's to relax and wind down, not come from a day job to continue working on a server. If you report anything via PM on the forum, we will be made aware of it and we'll deal with it when we have some time. Also, I'm expecting you guys to put in some effort too. If you log in and your stuff is gone or you lost it to a bug or whatever, then do a bit of research and come to us with a bit of info for us to work with. This isn't a playground that Sennex and I host, it's a community server. This means that we're all meant to help out to keep things running smoothly. If something goes wrong, see what you can do to fix it before you come to us. Some folks don't seem to realise how much work it can be maintaining a server. We also look after a website, a Teamspeak server, one of us has kids, we both have jobs, etc etc. I think you get the picture. I'm also looking for a new admin. Not someone who'll just take the title and chill out, but someone who's willing to learn how these things work, how to manage mods, restart servers, etc etc. I don't just need an admin, I need a team player. I'm going to start being a bit more strict now as some folks seem to think that our only purpose in life is to babysit this server, when said folks are perfectly capable of going "hey man, x just happened, and according to y site, it could be z". Don't just come to us and go "it broke, what now?" Apologies if this came off as a bit harsh, but I need people to start realising that this is a community effort, not a show hosted by Dave & Bart that you guys are allowed to play on. Thanks for reading, I love you all, and stay classy fellow Minecrafters!
  4. Press ctrl+Z
  5. Seems like people love you more than they love me Arris. Imma go cry now. Thanks.
  6. Your basement looks mighty sexy.
  7. BAHAHAHAHA Brilliant. You're a class act Ceppy. I'd have trolled the shit out of him.
  8. Yep. We still love him though. Imma make him a curry one of these days.
  9. ^Hahaha
  10. Hep, and it'll be backed up once every 24h. This will also allow us to compare people's stuff from 24h before, highlighting any thievery. Thieving will not be tolerated and will result in an instant permanent ban. Apologies for all of this folks, let's go back to the good ol' days of fun and games and leave the bad guys to us admins.
  11. If it was your second account, I don't see how he's been able to get on anyways as that would've had to have been whitelisted too, unless I missed something. Regardless, nobody's putting any blame on anyone so this isn't a witch hunt for your friend. I will ask however that all account sharing be terminated unless you supervise the person using it. At the end of the day we whitelist people, not accounts. If you allow someone else to use your account, we can only assume it's you and as such you will be held responsible for any dodgy behaviour. If you want to let your mate use your account, by all means go ahead but tell him to participate in the forum so we know him a bit and he can get to know us. As for the update, I reckon we stay at 1.7 and backup regularly. Once mods start catching up we can implement them but it's unfair to the rest to make you guys suffer because of one incident. I can only hope that this was a one off and that whoever is guilty has learned their lesson. If not, we'll find out who it is and it'll be a permanent ban.
  12. Another option is to back up the world as it is now, saving everyone's work, and rolling back. Once mods start catching up, we can re-instate this world and continue.
  13. Yep, server needed a kicking. Should be good now. Apologies folks.
  14. Well we've had our first contribution towards the super-duper-me-awesome-christmas-game-giveaway! Many thanks, you know who you are, that will be put in the pot and put to good use come christmas time!
  15. There are no waypoints, that was part of an addon that hasn't been updated to 1.7 yet. The game is much better optimized so you will get better results. The devs really pulled a number on the code, their work is outstanding. Dunno about the spawn village, that's Bart's thing. The impression I get is that you can take what you need, as long as you replace it. After all, bart didn't put all that effort in for nothing.
  16. Unfortunately not, no. Only gifted ones which haven't been claimed yet.
  17. Digital mate. Physical brings all sorts of complications.
  18. Ladies and Gentlemen and Euan, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are knocking on the festive season's doorstep, and that means festivities, family, friends, and perhaps most importantly, free games and gaming stuff! I personally have a decent stock of PC games to give away which I will be chucking in to the pot, but should anyone else wish to contribute towards making this an awesome festive season for all our members, you will notice that I have added a little donate button to the homepage. I would like to stress that I have this (almost) fully covered, but when it comes to gifts, the more, the merrier, right? If you are in a festive mood and would like to contribute something towards the pot of free stuff and joy, by all means go ahead. All the gifts will remain in this community so if you donate something, you can rest assured that it'll most likely go to someone you know. Whilst there is a monetary option, I am also collecting any game vouchers, PSN / XBL codes, or anything that can be sent over the internet and keeping them safe for when the day comes to hand out the gifts. The goal on the donation bar is purely for token purposes, I am unfortunately unable to create a donation option without having a target. I set it at 100 dollars to be safe, but should we surpass this, I will reset it and we can start again. I will personally be throwing in some funds here and there, and I'll also pick up a few PSN and XBL cards next time I go shopping, so when the winners open their games or consoles on the big day, you'll have some credit to go with them. We have come a long way since we all met, but one thing we can say for sure is that those of you who are here, right now, are all some of the nicest people I have ever met, and without you, none of this would be possible. To all the new guys, I'd like to welcome you all once again, I'm sure you'll fit right in in what can only be described as one of the nicest gaming communities in the world. Thank you all for reading, I hope you guys will all join me in celebrating the first proper festive season for Forever Gaming, and thanks for all your support. Stay classy Forever Gaming! Much love, Dave
  19. Hahaha, sorry to hear that Ceppy!
  20. Yep, you should be golden. In fact, your rig is probably more capable than mine as you've got more cores than me to play with.
  21. I'll try dude, but I'll probably be knackered. These night shifts are a killer.
  22. Nope, fraps records mic input too. And as you say, one drive for the game, and one to record to. Sounds like you're all set up!
