  1. I doubt it tbh. CoD hasn't got a patch on Battlefield maps wise. The weapons are much more varied and diverse, team play is encouraged, there are different roles, vertical levels (ermagerd, this alone makes me spaff), and a few tanks and shit thrown in. Yep, BF4 all day long for me. Although I'll probably get Ghosts on the PS just to irritate Adam again.
  2. BF4, all day long. CoD is getting stale, and BF4 is awesome.
  3. Nice, looking good. Nice to see I still got it Bart Oh and I'll be expecting contributions from you lot to keep this all running btw.
  4. Nice steve, now you can finally click the HD button on your pr0n sites!
  5. Too lazy to copy some text over eh? Hookers.
  6. Wow, this is in some ways like looking in a mirror. As most of the folks here know, I've also overcome a drug addiction. It got so bad, I left the country because my willpower wasn't enough. I have never had a father, my grandparents were always there for me and my mother went through hell and high waters to give me the best she could, despite every month having to count the pennies. What I'll say is this: This isn't the time for you to be down about stuff like this. This is an opportunity. It's a time for you to lose the shackles you have, and start living your own life. It's always shit to lose people who you can depend on, but it does teach you to fend for yourself and become a stronger person. Your breakup with your girlfriend might have been exactly what you need. If you were in a stale relationship, there's really no point staying. See this as an opportunity to find someone new, someone exciting, someone you want to buy flowers for and spend time with. Until then, use this time to think about your priorities in life. It sounds to me like you're in a rut and need a change. Sometimes changing one aspect of your life is enough, sometimes it's better to change as much as you can. In this case, your relationship was stale, your job is stale, you're potentially losing some loved ones (sorry if that came out wrong), so it's time for you to throw your life up in the air and see how you land. Career wise, a change of environment can make a massive difference. I changed job recently having spent 4 years working for the same company. I do pretty much exactly the same thing, except for a different firm. I'm loving it. I work crazy hours, 12 of them a day, but I also get tons of time off. I make a decent living, and I'm generally happy with my position. Even if you're doing the same thing in a different firm, a change of environment can make a huge change. I found a person who is just as fucked up as me and we got married. She became my new rock. We're now married and living happily. She keeps me on the straight and narrow, and it sounds to me like this is what you need too. Focus first on finding a job which will make you happy again. This will in turn boost your confidence, which will help when looking at girls. When you lack confidence, any old girl will do, but if you're feeling good about yourself, odds are you'll look a bit deeper and find a woman who suits you better. Don't see this change as a bad thing. You're young, you have a few years left in you, but just ask yourself this: what are you going to do to get the most out of them?
  7. Mkay, I haz a bit moar tiemz. First off, not every GPU is created equal, which is why some overclock well and others don't. It's why GPU manufacturers also only overclock a tiny bit. You might have a GPU that simply won't OC, although that seems unlikely. If you're certain that you have the right drivers, then crank up just the GPU by the smallest increment possible and see how it goes. If it fails, we'll go from there. If it doesn't fail, then do the same with the memory clock. If that fails, then it could be the memory. Let me know xoxo
  8. Jesus, that's one dysfunctional family dude. Good move on the rental agreement, that might actually help. If I wer eyou though, I'd have gone there and picked up the PC and whatever else I could salvage and keep it safe. Or even flog it and put the cash in your nephew's savings account. The PC is clearly going to waste there, and your sister sounds like a real piece of work. I dunno man, I grew up without a father so I know first hand what he's going through, although my mother did all she could to support me and give me the best she could. I'd say spend as much time as you can with those nephews, both of them, hell maybe even get them into a sporting club of sorts just to get them out the house and lead a normal life for a few hours a week. Obviously I don't know the whole situation but from what you've said here it seems pretty messed up.
  9. Dammit, I was really hoping to make a lurvely sorting robot again Either way, as long as I get to craft, kill and farm, I'm happy!
  10. Definitely the Porsche and the Exige. The Porsche is awesome for just silly burn-outtiness, and the Exige is great for zapping around town.
  11. INDUSTRIALCRAFT!!!!!!!!!! pls
  12. I'd fucking love to man, but I just don't have the house to myself any more. I get too frustrated when I try and record and my housemate walks around, she makes one little sound and then spends half an hour apologizing loudly for making that sound. Shame, she's a lovely girl but intelligence just isn't her thing.
  13. It ends today, which is shit.
  14. We've got one on the PC, don't you have it on the consoles?
  15. Nice to see that even at the highest level, Treyarch were unable to fix that irritating theatre gun echo. These matches are shunned upon by the PC community because they use a joystick with aim assist. I tend to agree, although having aim assist for all the players does even things out a bit. I dunno.

    BF4 PC specs

That'll max it out Arris. Easily. One thing I recently discovered is that the beta was coded with Win8 in mind, so if you're running Win7, you're going to have issues, which explains a ton really. It should be optimized for release though. Hopefully.

    Lock on RPGs

What do people think of this? I think it's a load of crap. RPGs are meant to be dumb-fire weapons, that's the whole point. However, they should also be one hit kills to all helis and jets. What DICE has done now is made them lock on, and reduce the damage. I seem to recall having something similar, we call it a Stinger. Thoughts?
  18. That's a cool dog dude. I never knew you had a hoers either!
  19. Yep. You're a master at this, I have utmost confidence in you.
  20. Google "AMD driver checker" and download it. As Patrick says, it's the best way as it'll take a peek around your system and tell you what to get.
  21. The sound thing is the same on PC, now sure what that's all about. Tanks spawn in with AP rounds in the beta hence why they're so weak against infantry. In the full game, you'll have HE rounds which will make a massive differences. Bullet drop is present, it's just not half as much as BF3 which does suck as getting it right in BF3 was ever so satisfying. Not gonna comment on the snipers / campers, my views on those are fairly well documented. Scope glint has definitely been toned down a bit, and I like the new spotting thingy. I love playing counter sniper so seeing them stick out like sore thumbs on top of buildings is a huge help, especially as once the building's gone down, the map is covered in floating dust. Not sure about the console, but on PC, if you press T, you can zoom in with it, and with the default sniper too. Only discovered that yesterday, made a huge difference.
  22. I gave up too. On PC at least, it's unplayable atm. I have since found out that it's because I'm running Win7 when the game is optimized for Win8, which is understandable. The game will run perfectly smooth, but as soon as I fire a shot / scope in or whatever, it grinds to a slide show which get me killed. I just hope that this is resolved before the final launch.
  23. Dropbox does store a sync folder on your HDD. Google Drive doesn't.
