I'm not bothered either way, but amplified looks like it'll kill laptops. I suppose we can always go with the one you've made up for now and upgrade once the mods start catching up. Whatever we decide to do, I want it done fast. This has dragged on long enough.

I've been doing a bit of research on mods for 1.7, but I'm hitting a blank. The only mods I have in mind are anti-grief, whitelisting and perhaps a backup facility. Does anyone know if these exist, or if mods will be supported at all?

Yep. We're starting with a 1,5gb server, which will cost about £10 a month. If that's not enough, we can upgrade to 2gb which will increase to £13 a month. On top of that I'll also rent a Teamspeak server with 20 slots, which costs £4,30 a month. That is less than £20 a month all in all. If we can't raise that between all of us, then I might as well throw in the towel now.

Everyone, please put on your pimp suits and go pimpin'! I'm starting to roll out the next phase of community building, which will mean servers to play on (starting with Mingecraft but eventually more), events with actual prizes (hopefully, depending on how much love the donate button gets) and loads of other good 'tings going on. I would like you all to start spreading the word about this place. Friends, Facepage, Twitter, you name it. Get more members on board and let's watch this place grow! HOP TO GENTLEMEN! I have added a donate button on the homepage for people to chip in. The difference is that this time, if people don't chip in, the server's going to die. Last time I spent over a ton in total on covering fees and whatnot, which given how cheap it is to run a server is ridiculous. If people can each chip in £2 a month, we'll be golden. You don't need to chip in every month all the time, but if people are able to help out then do so. I don't have the time to nag every month, so help me out please folks.

I've now made Ceppy an admin as he has a few changes he'd like to implement. We've discussed this and these are proven methods that work on other fori so we're going to go ahead and give it a shot. I'm also contemplating stripping the mods all down to just me and Ceppy (and maybe Tommy) as we don't want too much staff. This is NOT reflective of people's attitudes or abilities (although Euan's is questionable) it's purely a restructuring. As you were.

Dude.... honestly, one of my best mates, who was more of a brother than my actual brother had a girlfriend. We had the most amazing chemistry between us. Whenever we saw each other, there was just something there. Not just me liking her, but something going both ways. It was so damn obvious. I'd never, ever ditch a mate for a girl though, so in the end I avoided going to his house.
