  1. I love the idea and feel of the Total War games and they only get let down by the drip feed of dlc, it gets expensive as fuck, which I why I'm waiting for a Total War Warhammer mega sale...

    90s / 00s pc gaming

Delta force just looks like the original Far Cry / Wildlands game? I fully agree with you James, the innovation that came through then led to such big jumps between games it was probably gaming's golden era really. The current market is stagnated and I find myself struggling to pick up some games as they are generally rehashes or reskins of games from yesteryear. One of my favourite strategy games back then was a game called Skull Caps, a sequel to Baldies. Both were great fun games albeit I can not get the latter one to run anymore-

  4. From what I heard a Warhammer 40k TW is in the works as well.

  5. Creative Assembly are in a bit of a shambles - they always seem to have 3 games and 15 DLC's in development at once and it's hard to say which game is being made by which internal team because that has a hugely defining impact on the end product. Warhammer is their mainline team but then 'fringe' staff are churning out the likes of Britannia, Pharoah and Troy and the difference is night and day. It was reported last May that they were working on a Star Wars game as part of a trio of Total War titles but it's hard to say which one will be the main one and the others being shafted as side releases. Either way, it's basically a new game every year and ÂĢ100+ worth of DLC. No thanks Sega.

  7. Done. If we can get latest hot topics and other FG stuff to the front then thats the plan, but I think it will always require people to help with this to make that happen.

  8. Cheers yeah I agree and back to 10 is good. It only really matters when the forum is busy but it's much easier to track and not miss people's posts with 10

  10. I don't like the front page, can only see 5 latest topics and the rest is a distraction from that. Sort it. ðŸĪ—

  11. Against Free Speech are you then? Absolutely shocking, that practically makes you a communist ðŸĪĢ But seriously don't worry mate, you're actually witnessing me and @J4MES OX4D agreeing for once, which is rare, as we've been arguing for years, don't take that away from me ðŸ˜Ĩ😂

  12. It's not propaganda - it's one thing taking pictures of waving and (out of context) gestures of people (who are equally unpopular in their own right) but Elon's 'salute' was a full-blown mimicking action and this is off the back of political and societal stances he houses, so whether there was any malice or if it was just an awkward moment from a immature 53 year old, it doesn't really set a good example. This happening off the back of him getting into petty squabbles with gamers and then trying to ruin their livelihoods because they outed him and a dishonest person. If I go into a room of important people and shove my middle finger in all their faces, I can't turn around and say it was a harmless misunderstanding, unintentional and I didn't know how it would reflect.

Delta Force - 1998. I recall that within the box it also had a help card that would fit seamlessly over your keyboard to help you work out what each button was back then, which was so cool. Loads of multiplayer on this too back on the old dial up connection with NTL. Before this - and I'm cheating a little here because it was made in 1988 for PC but I played it in the 90s - F19 Stealth Fighter. Man, I was crap at it, but when I lucked out and completed a mission, it felt like I'd won the lottery.

  15. I don't think I've seen someone have such an embarrassing fortnight before - firstly getting exposed by teenagers, then getting shitted on by his gaming allies and then behaving like this in front of the world. He may have deleted all his Twitter squabbles but this will stick forever.

    Vampire: Bloodlines 2

I very briefly played the original, regrettably never really got very far but it seemed my sort of thing. What probably has not helped is the stupid Swansong game and such being released and not doing well. I will watch this trailer in a bit and let you know what I think 🙂
