  1. So I bought my first Steamdeck accessory the other say in a Deckmate. I only went for the basic one as I wonโ€™t be vesa mounting the deck or anything like that but I have say so far itโ€™s a great bit of kit. The base of it is a frame that clips on to the deck with a mounting hole over the Steam logo and also handily comes with 2 memory card slots too. Which means you can clip in things such as a stand But the main reason I got it was it includes a sticky mount so you can mount a usb battery bank to the back And they also include a sticky mount, so even with the battery on the back you can use the stand Now I just need to find a small usb c cable and Iโ€™ll be good to game on the move for 5-6 hours even on modern demanding titles.

  2. I find CEX not great imo, more because of my personal experiences and the inflation of prices they do. eBay seems the only place easily accessible, buyers cover if the game doesn't arrive or not true to the advert however you have to look massively around for a good deal still on there. Usually buying in bulk is the only way to get a decent deal on games on eBay. I'd live to go to more Charity shops but the one I go to, theres never much stuff in there. A lot of those shops are now also selling stuff on eBay too which is a shame. I need to go to more car boot sales on a Sunday morning. They are likely the best deals but unreliable as you won't know if the games work or not. Make sure you share these as you're not far from me. I may take a trip one weekend. This is pretty decent too, whilst he won't be super cheap, it won't be overinflated too. Just depends on what they upload (was helpful for the wife to get me some Xmas presents last year!)

No, itโ€™s just a usb battery bank I had already. The only accessory Valve officially offer is a dock to connect a mouse/keyboard and monitor.

Episode 31 is LIVE!!! Can E3 exist without the big 3, or will it change up to either be an indie showcase or go back to its roots. Plus, Sony makes some interesting moves.

  6. ๐Ÿคฃ In fairness after not liking it at all at the start I seem to have found the right attachments to make it work really well now! I'm probably only 8/10 done for the Gold challenge - I should probably share the attachments that have worked for me shouldn't I ๐Ÿ˜…

  7. Saw this today. I mean, its not the end of the world (no pun intended) that they took ideas from other trailers and games but it just adds another thing that always feels like a downward spiral for this game. There was a lso this as a reminder that it wasn't just the trailer they took some ideas from. I would always some crossover somewhere, thats just life, but very strange to see so many references. Its abit like the Marketing person has a bit of Imposter syndrome so the only thing they can think of is look at other stuff and then copy it identically.

    Wanted Dead

Definitely that Arcade style feel, nearly looked Time Crisis 3 styled but with open world movement. I'm interested on first look thats for sure and feels like a cool fun game to fill some time on a console. No co-op is a slight disappointment but I don't think that will detract from the game much at all.

  10. Just wondering if anyone has any tips on where the best place to buy retro video games is online or irl?

  11. Nah, dont bother. Doesnt matter how much you polish shit, it will still be shit ๐Ÿ˜„ But do it anyway, just for the hell of it ๐Ÿ˜‰

  12. There's taking ideas and references and then there is straight up ripping everything. All the stuff in the trailer(s) can be bought off the shelf from Unreal as it is so from what's been showcased then and up to their 'gameplay extravaganza' is nothing original or of their own creation which is absolutely damning. The good news is that people aren't falling for it like they would've 5+ years ago and be blinded by hype.

  13. We made an absolute balls up of the Transfe deadline day. We were looking to get 2 deals in really late, and we missed the 11pm deadline. Rovers fans were quite acromonius online and whilst there is definitely blame internally, the information on why the EFL rejected our paperwork on the 2 deals just before 11pm is quite laughable really. Lewis O'brien has an agent with the surname Sharpe. Apparently we wrote Sharp instead. The other deal for a up and coming star at Rochdale, the lad unfortunately didn't tick the 'White and British' boxes on your background. When we submitted updated forms it was past 11pm. For once, if this is absolutely the reasons, even though the EFL have never accepted an appeal on late paperwork, I would like to see some precedent set to these deals. Whats really sad is that O'Brien is now out of the squad officially at Nottingham Forest so he can't play for the next 6 months which I find unacceptable considering this is his job and livelihood. Fwiw, I think this is a good watch to explain in front of the camera from a Director of Football.

  14. The sign of gaming times will definitely mean people move on quicker. Its interesting the stats though. What I see on the Steam one above is that it shows a larger than normal playerbase initially and what they did was gorge content extremely quick, which the hours played shows. I'll die on my iceberg hill by admitting that Battle Royale is a great addition to games, but it is just one game mode after all. I think those stats also show that 6v6 multiplayer is either played by ultimate hardcore MLGers (Counter-Strike) or casual core players like all of us. Players are making the BR games the next MLG scene, or at least trying to do that. Warzone imo, wasn't built to be able to compete with them. Not yet anyway. Its like the casual core version of the hardcore games, so you will always get more random from time to time. Its why casuals get drawn to it because higher unpredictability means more chances of winning a BR match. It would be interesting at some point if we found all the 5v5, 6v6 FPS Multiplayer games and stacked their stats alongside each other. I see Overwatch 2 is not on there at all, completely free too. I'm probably concluding I don't think these figures dictate if CoD has landed well or not. I listen and see many of us playing CoD way more than we ever have and that I believe its not just coincidence.

  16. My best game with a Pistol on Shipment was with the P890 and Kill Confirmed. 52 kills 28 deaths and 37 confirms. I was going absolutely ham with it. Everyone was running AR's, SMG's and LMGs etc.

  17. Hurricane gold. Damn prone kills doesnt suit my playstyle. Vaznev getting close to gold.
    1 point
  18. Vaznev SMG is Gold. Moved on to MX9 and Hurricane SMGs on the way next. Started Chimera AR too but doesn't feel like that will be a long one at all as its nice to shoot as stock straight away. EBR-14 is a slow camo grind alongside the FTAC. Like you all, I struggle with it too so only use it every now and again to keep the camo grind going on it.
    1 point
  19. If you don't care about your stats etc and I don't and if all you want to do is camo grind shipment is the quickest way. Shoothouse being in the rotation and it being a moshpit just helps vary gameplay. If the game didn't have so many trash maps I'd probably hate shipment but it's chaos for me actually makes it fun.
    1 point
  20. Shipment is brutal if you go in with a "non-competitive" setup. If you try the handguns for example and everyone is running SMGs and LMGs you are going to get trashed. That's why I prefer picking game mode. For example KC for pistols since you got to keep moving. Dom for range weapons like battle rifles, snipers, markman If you mind dying a lot shipment is probably the fastest. Now that it's combined with shoot house I tend to avoid it. I just can't get a decent shoot house game. So I play a game mode and get the map rotation instead.

  21. I dunno, for a game that was due for imminent release, delayed only by a 'trademark dispute' they are showing and providing sweet FA about this game. 9 minutes of walking through an area? For a finished game that seems a bit weird to me that they didnt have more to show. Too long in the tooth and seen too many games flatter only to deceive. I'm happy to be pleasantly surprised but here's my predictions, if it isn't delayed again.... 1. It will have massive network issues at launch and beyond. 2. It will have microtransactions and monetization will feature heavily. I do hope I'm wrong but World War 3, Dead Matter and a whole host of promising games that looked great but ultimately failed to deliver.. help temper any enthusiasm I might have ๐Ÿ™‚

  29. Personal experiences - cex is fine if you go in store, buying online can be very hit and miss with quality Ebay can be good if you know exactly what you are after but priced a little high Charity shops are much more difficult to find a bargain these days, a lot of them have cottoned onto the value and put them on ebay these days My best experiences have been smaller independant stores and retro game fayres. There are 2 or 3 local to me and they have recently been revamped so they tend to be my first port of call.

    E3 2023

No show for all the big names Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo give E3 the brush off | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Gaming's biggest publishers aren't coming back for E3's first in-person event since 2019. No doubt they'd rather run their own events which gives them a lot more control and they don't have to share the space with rivals. Pity because it was a nice tradition but hopefully this will see more independent devs and smaller publishers have the spotlight instead of the usual suspects paying for it.

  32. Have a look at local ads on places like Gumtree, oftentimes something decent shows up when they don't know exactly what they're selling or it's true worth. I don't have the room to collect but once I do, I'll be picking up some things here and then.

  34. I've personally found CeX (UK high street franchise) to be one of the worst places to buy retro games. I've found eBay and other online shops to be much more useful in finding better quality games!

So I think it'd max teams of 4 then you can go into different houses and different levels and need to pinpoint what kind of ghost you think it is by using different equipment. Then there's bonus tasks to get more money for buying equipment where you have to get close or have a chase with a ghost but don't let it kill you lol. When your playing as a group if you die you leave the chat aswell so getting left on your own gets the nerves going haha

Oh yeah buying it just for emulation would be stupid but the fact it can emulate aswell is a Brucey bonus.

  40. You know me and emulators ๐Ÿ˜… You can do what you want with it buddy, personally i'd be testing it out with proper PC games rather than emulated games as theres so many cheaper devices out there that can do that for you without the need to use a powerful piece of kit like this.
