Gamewise and costwise, its actually a really good month for PS Plus games. Evil Dead i'm looking forward to as its been a great co-op game i've dipped in and watched a few times when other people play it. Mafia is a classic remake and worth having in the collection. Destiny 2's Beyond Light Campaign and additional quests are a sizeable addition to someone who wants to give it a go but needs more than the free stuff to play it (plus the BEST raid in the game imo 😄). No idea about Olli Olli World...but its free now 😄

I've been recently reconciling my PS1 games as I did have quite a few naughty copied discs back in the day (hey, not my fault my parents clearly didn't want me to have the proper ones!) so I thought it was time to fix that. There's a few new ones below though as a few half decent deals came up with the game I needed so picked them up at the same time. Looking forward to trying out all teh football games later in the year and hopefully with others here face to face when I've sorted my space out. Fun useless fact. I could never beat Tenchu properly as it was rock hard when I was young. Couldn't even get past the first level boss! I ended up using the infinite health cheat to help me complete it instead. I'll go back soon to see if my skills have actually done anything in the past 25 years 😅

Wowser 🤣🤣 I do also love the idea in real life that soon we'll get these types of players through the ranks at Bolton. "Scholes to Giggs who crosses for Harry!" 🤣 I'm looking forward to starting a co-op game when @Findmartin comes round next time. I'll also start a single player one this week with Blackburn. Going to find Ian Moore at Stockport and offer him a luctrative contract for 12 years in exchange for 100 goals per season 😎

Respawn announced they’ll be seating this one until April. I’m glad to see them taking the extra time to make this one more polished and not hopefully tire out the people working on it in the process.

Stealing thread idea from another forum, and I'm unsure if we have or had one of these. We often times change up the games we are playing. So what games are you playing now? I'm in a war phase, so I downloaded Battlefield 1. I forgot how much fun this game is, hectic gameplay and lots of action. I only run as medic and I most of the time end up topping stats for most revives in a round. Gotta keep pushing somehow! If we have one of these that I've missed, delete or merge this thread.

Has anyone played this? It's scary stuff on your own with the lights off and headset on full 🤣 You can hunt ghosts in groups too, if anybody has it I think it might be a good game to have a laugh on. Thought I would throw it out there 🙂

Out in a couple of weeks and looks pretty interesting. Quite like the look of the mechanics with its mix of melee and gun plus the overall fluidity. The game is also reminiscent of many classics we used to get in the PS2/OG Xbox era. Way more appealing than these generic/safe titles that have come out in recent years with bland cover elements or The Division-type basic shooting.

Sony has sent out emails to PS Plus users and have informed them that they will be bringing an end to the PS Plus collection May 9th. If you haven't claimed any of the games, I suggest you do so now, and they'll be a part of your game library as long as you have a PS Plus account. Fucking Sony. I'm honestly surprised they didn't do this when they implemented the PS+ tiers.

The remade Mafia makes my PC turn into a furnace for some reason, so I'd like to see how it is on console so I can finish it 🙂

I think most people thought it was a fake game at first especially when we saw no original gameplay footage for a very long period and the devs were silent for months upon months at a time. However it looks like they've done a very good job overall with a truly unique setting and not only that, this is a rare game that actually seems to represent the gameplay trailers we've seen previous.

Conte is out for the foseeable future and we're playing against a sovereign wealth fund on Sunday, so that will be fun. Hope the gaffer is OK, having your gall bladder removed sounds pretty hardcore 😥

It's on Xbox GamePass so I'll more than likely check it out. When I first became aware of this game i thought it was riffing off (nor ripping) Stalker but now I can't remember so will check the video above, cheers👍

Can't blame them - the amount of work EA have allocated them is absolutely nuts. Pity every other EA studio is hot garbage. They are working on this, another couple of upcoming Star Wars titles and still supporting Apex Legends massively and trying to salvage Battlefield 2042. The first one was decent and this one should be equally good!

Personal experiences - cex is fine if you go in store, buying online can be very hit and miss with quality Ebay can be good if you know exactly what you are after but priced a little high Charity shops are much more difficult to find a bargain these days, a lot of them have cottoned onto the value and put them on ebay these days My best experiences have been smaller independant stores and retro game fayres. There are 2 or 3 local to me and they have recently been revamped so they tend to be my first port of call.

No show for all the big names Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo give E3 the brush off | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Gaming's biggest publishers aren't coming back for E3's first in-person event since 2019. No doubt they'd rather run their own events which gives them a lot more control and they don't have to share the space with rivals. Pity because it was a nice tradition but hopefully this will see more independent devs and smaller publishers have the spotlight instead of the usual suspects paying for it.

Have a look at local ads on places like Gumtree, oftentimes something decent shows up when they don't know exactly what they're selling or it's true worth. I don't have the room to collect but once I do, I'll be picking up some things here and then.

I put this on my PPR but I thought I'd post it here as well. I manage to pick up, The Simpsons Hit and Run, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Sonic Heroes and Star Wars Battlefront 2 all for Playstation 2. I also then received a few other beauties including SSX and PES from @GazzaGarrattwhich I was extremely happy about. I've yet had the time to properly play any of them but I am very excited for when that moment does come around!

I went to see An Inspector Calls before my GCSEs, the Inspector was played by Tom Baker. It's a sad play but we all started laughing when he appeared. Quality Dr Who, though slightly before my time. Nice find @Macca89

Thats a great shout that even I struggle to follow! May give this a bash. I'd love to get to a point where we're all trying the same old retro game, maybe once a month to start with. It would be good to share views, opinions, tactics and also high scores ofc 😄 Maybe worth a separate thread at some point for us all. Even if its just 2 or 3 of us, i'd still do it.

I've personally found CeX (UK high street franchise) to be one of the worst places to buy retro games. I've found eBay and other online shops to be much more useful in finding better quality games!

Winter transfer window comes to an end today and it's been quite busy this year. I've spent the last month manfully ignoring click bait articles on NewsNow 🙂 But looks like Porro to Spurs is a real thing and Danjuma managed to score a goal on his debut, flukey though it was. I like Doherty but he's never been comfortable in a Spurs shirt, I wish him well if he goes to Atletico. Cheatsksi and Arse nil have been splashing the cash but a youngster Spurs picked up from the blue scum looks like a bright prospect to immediately be put out on loan. Wondering if the injury to Eriksson will make Utd splurge before the window shuts....

I played the Championship Manager series religiously from CM2 all the way until it split into FM/. CM04/05 was my last and I never really got into FM partly because of burnout and although it was made by the same people, it just felt a bit off. Haven't played one since. 01/02 was king because it was CM3 perfected after years of work and experience. CM4 was a bit of a change in terms of interface and the introduction of the 3D map but I quite liked it in the end. Cannot beat seeing your players with 20's all over their stats. My mate from school once played 144 seasons and ended up blowing his hard drive after going on an insane grind - ended up in the Hungarian league with Phil Scholes, Robbie Giggs and Thierry Harry as the algorithm was stretched to the max trying to generate new players. I didn't see him for the first 5 weeks of the holiday and I don't think he had a bath in that time either🤣 CM2 was a great introduction for me and I was often mesmerised by the background pictures. You can get the games from *cough *myabandonware for ease - I still think I have all mine boxed in storage.

I have been on 🙂 Up to level 14 I think now, been pottering about with a couple of friends and it play's fairly well, loading time's aren't too great if you fast travel and such but I'm not sure if it installed on my internal storage or external. It's typical fallout but I am enjoying something that isn't quite so fast paced and hectic and running round just trying to shoot other people. Kinda pleasant!

I've played it a bit on PC, and I believe @TurboR56Mini and @RenFengge have been talking about playing it too. I love the Fallout games. I'll install it today on playstation to see what it's like on console. I agree @GazzaGarratt as its free we should be able to get a few of us on it, get it installed 🙂

I would be up for playing this again, played a fair amount on the xbox and really enjoyed it 🙂

Thanks for sharing @slamminbones . Jedi Fallen Order should be one for you all to pick up. My son had it and it was a very well made campaign. Good combat too. Funny how we've been talking about Fallout 76 as well recently. Add it to the library. You never know if we might get a server in the future.

I never got round to uploading these photos late in the summer but I picked up my first sega saturn and first few games for it along with a PS1 game that was meant to be the prelude to the shadow hearts games on the ps2. Admittedly I have not played them yet but they are on my list to play in the near future, particularly Kodelka which looks just my type of game.
