Megaman battle network collection
Riff Machine and one other reacted to Luseth for a topic
Not sure if any of you played this on the GBA/ DS, I could never get into traditional mega man, I am not much for a side scroller but this spin off series I found really fun. It was pretty much an RPG with grid based combat and somewhat in the style of pokemon when it first game out. Well there is a collection due to come out next year and the date has finally been announced, having not played the 5th and 6th games I will likely be picking this up, does it take the fancy of anyone else here? Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Release Date Announced - IGN WWW.IGN.COM The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, which collects all ten Battle Network games, gets a release date for Switch, PC, and PS4.2 points -

Thanks, that’s the good thing about DMZ you can push ahead with a risky play and it’s not the end of the world if you fail. You only ever keep a handful of items and never any cash.2 points -

Always the case, pushing it a little too far is the name of the game.. It's definitely happened to me. Sounds like you've been doing pretty well otherwise so GGs on that 👍2 points -

Xbox 360 is my favorite of all time; however, the XBOXONE controller is pretty awesome too. For nostalgia... the SNES controller has a special place in my heart.1 point -

Finished the EBR and the Riot Shield gold. I then got the Riot Shield and Knife platinum. Was easy enough, took me about 35 mins to do the Riot Shield gold challenge and both the Shield and Knife platinum challenges.1 point -
Megaman battle network collection
Luseth reacted to GazzaGarratt for a topic
I bought my first Megaman game for the Gamecube last year (yep 2022 😉) so its never ben on my radar from when i was a kid. The only Megaman person I know here so far is Chad @Riff Machine so I usually take my Megaman advice from him. The Collection sounds cool though, something to maybe dip into if there is enough good releases in there to warrant its price.1 point -

How are you getting on with this @Macca89 ? It may help to understand what you're trying to specifically create and there may be other things out there. I have found Canva is ridiculously string at creating stuff, you just need your own idea on what you want to do but there are tons of templates - and the best part is that its free to use. It has a pro version that looks like it could give you more templates for videos and tope end stuff but if i'm honest i've never had the urge to use any of them as there's so much that its free.1 point -
DMZ
Riff Machine reacted to Tove for a topic
Had a “it was this moment he realised he fucked up” in my last game of DMZ, had a great run 25k+ cash, completed contracts, basilisk contraband for the headshot mission, 3 plate vest, large backpack, heading to exfil and ran into a squad exfilling a weapon case. Needless to say I made the wrong decision and tried to hang around in case it was a solo and I could get a cheeky steel turns out it was a cracked 3man but it was too late by the time I realised and tried to take them on as they were exiting their vehicle. Oh well live and learn I guess1 point -
Last movie you watched
IRaMPaGe reacted to J4MES OX4D for a topic
I watched No Time To Die Last Night for the first time. Satisfactory conclusion to the Daniel Craig James Bond story arc in what has become a very messed up timeline. The film itself was very wayward in tone - the opening 10 minutes resembled some sort of Twin Peaks drama and then it delved into a very lighthearted style similar to Mission Impossible before its Die Another Day-style outrageous finale before its tragic ending. The film just shifted tonally too much for my liking and it all became a bit of a mess. The main villain was quite OTT and very under-used and I can't decide if the scientist was a terrible actor or just a poorly written character. Ana De Armas's was fantastic but she only got about 10 minutes and the villain with quite possibly the worst fade haircut ever didn't really convince as an actor or character either. I did think some of the action scenes were good but the film tried too hard to be part-successor to On Her Majesty's Secret Service and at the same time go out with a bang. It was just all a bit too weird and I think a completely fresh perspective is needed for the future of James Bond and now would be a good time to do a full character wipe of the existing actors and start afresh.1 point -

Ahhhh a man of culture I see. Ghosts was that horrible it made you stop playing Cod as well? I have stated this hatred many times on this forum. Loved Cod for years then Ghosts came and I stopped playing for 9 years. Then came back. Ghosts had me tapping out by Christmas. 😂1 point -

For me it was the Xbox 360. Fit my gorilla hand’s perfect. Led to very little fatigue like PlayStation controllers did. My second favorite is probably the PS5. Same reason is it fits my hands well. However I do wish they made one like the Xbox thumb sticks.1 point -

Oh how I wish I had a big house and money to just throw at arcade machines. Last Saturday I visited Arcade Club in Leeds. Still an amazing experience and my favourite game was Manx TT Superbike, loved the bike and way it controls. I'd love to own one but definitely not cheap!1 point -
Gardening
GazzaGarratt reacted to cyberninja2601 for a topic
Kind of sorry I missed this before. We have a "community garden" in ottawa. It's basically a plot that you sign up for and if you get it you can grow whatever you want there. We were successful in getting one this year. We live in a Condo so we no longer have our own. We use to have one on our property before. It's about 20 feet by 4 feet plot. We grew eggplant, zuchinni, squash, green peppers, tomatoes, various herbs, some flowers, green beens and yellow beans. It was a marginal success. The garden has to be organic and we needed to get familiar with the sun patterns and the fertilizer. The beans were our most successful. Followed by the tomatoes With the Canadian winter coming we had to pull everything about a month ago. We have plans for next April. Another problem was that homeless people come and pick the stuff. I feel that if you are that desperate for fresh food that you have to come and steal ours. Go ahead and help yourself. Just don't waste it or hurt the plants. We mostly do it for fun anyways. b1 point -

Honestly it’s hard to say anything other than the Adobe suite. Photoshop and Lightroom for photos. Photoshop and Illustrator for graphics. Premiere Pro andAfter Effects for video. It can get quite pricey as it’s a subscription model but there’s other options if you go on the high seas.1 point
