What an absolute joke! Horizon Zero Dawn PlayStation 5 remaster reportedly in the works WWW.EUROGAMER.NET New reports claim a remaster of Guerrilla's Horizon Zero Dawn is currently in the works for the PS5. Originally reveale… We already have a perfectly good PS5 version that offers both resolution and performance modes with the latter maintaining 60fps and the former at 4K/30. Do we really need a £60/$70 'upgrade' of a 2017 game that will waste 2-3 years of development time!?? Looks like Guerrilla are out of ideas after Forbidden West and are playing it safe. This is yet another joke commissioning from Sony and a complete waste of all-round resources.

I don't think this is Guerilla's fault really, this is Sony pushing it forwards (they did with last of us 1). Ultimately they are doing it because the last of us 1 remake showed that people will buy them enough to make it profitable for them. Fully agree it is a joke though and I won't touch it just like I did not with the last of us, anyone that chooses to buy them (at least brand new) is just encouraging it and if Sony find it is profitable it could be something others do. Like I get remaking a 20 year old game, bring it to new audiences and what not but something that's under 5-10 years is just saft and just another example of the market just stalling and stagnating. It's why Indie titles are doing so well today because they dare to change things up, try something different.

The price feels insane. Probably because its a controller and we're still used to that type of money giving us more bang for our buck. I think I just sense they charge it because they can. The gaming market is evolving, gamers want more, so they develop more. And if SCUF and the Elite controller are already above the 150 mark, selling this for 210 won't bother them in the slightest. And as Chad says, people will still spend that money on them cos they can. I think the main challenge will be how sturdy and long will it last - reports of many Elite controllers having to be sent back within 6 months tells me this type of tech isn't as strong as we'd like it to be. Would love to own but game wise, not sure there is much pushing me towards it just yet....maybe if we end up rolling on CoD MW2 and OW2 hard then I'll consider it.

I'll still end up buying one. The Xbox Elite controller was similarly priced when it released. Actually, I could just get a Series X and use the elite instead!! MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Still on the fence about getting this straight away. Loved MW2019, especially the campaign though. Hm.

A lot of people have been waiting for this and it's finally happening! Konami are remaking Silent Hill 2 for the PS5 and it looks like it will be awesome! I remember playing the original Silent Hill and loving it so i really hope they do this justice. Also, they are making new games for the series which I think could be a good thing if they are developed properly and not rushed out. If they manage to maintain the creepiness that Silent Hill was known for then we could see some great games in the future. For £40 more you can get an Xbox Series S😂 Sony could've literally made SCUF obsolete and put them halfway out of business overnight but instead they've decided to put their prices in-line with them which is a farcical market justification. These controllers have insane margins so I can see why the likes of Sony drive profits through peripherals but at this rate it's taking the piss and will probably put more people off, and put their current position in the market even more questionable. The build quality on the DS4 was also pretty shit and MIcrosoft's very own Elite controllers have been known break quite easily so I'd want at least a 2 year warranty laying down this much money on just a bloody glorified pad. Sony have so far managed to tick every box on how to fuck up so far. Just need to charge £2000 for PSVR2 and then they've completed the set.
