Sounds pretty grim although I'd take things with a pinch of salt as it's a state submission from California California sues Activision Blizzard over alleged harassment WWW.BBC.CO.UK One of the world's largest gaming companies is accused of endemic discrimination and harassment.

I recently picked this up on my switch and fell in love with this game. It's a 2D metroidvania style action adventure kinda reminiscent of symphony of the night. You play as a little priestess named Lily and all your attacks and abilities are done through spirits you've purified during the game. There's hand to hand, swords, clubs etc, as well as magic ranged attacks. You also get permanent abilities like swimming underwater, double jump and such through the same spirits you acquire. Graphics are beautiful hand drawn sprites that move quite nicely. The gameplay is really spot on. There's some points where you'll be stuck in an animation and unable to dodge, but those are avoidable IMO. The music and sound is incredible as well. This is my kind of game so I may come off as a bit bias but if you're a fan of this style of game, you should dig it as well.

Another little gem I came across this week. I've only just started this but from what little I've played, It's really good. Top down, kind of diablo point of view, hack and slash with rouge lite elements I believe? Like I said, I haven't got very far. I'll post more when I've progressed further. The gamer in me is a bit sad about the state of the industry, but I've been sad about it for a long while. The rest of me who has gone through almost 5 years of this to some degree while at a certain employer in different "frat boy industry", who spoke to the press under anonymity out of fear of retaliation (I was not the original leak who got the ball rolling), who commiserated with others as news broke out in the WSJ, NY Times, and industry-specific news, who lined up lawyers in case the lawsuits started to come in, who worried about potential career and livelihood consequences... The rest of me is sitting back with some popcorn to see it all burn down. I finally was able to watch the trailer. This looks pretty interesting. To be honest, I never read the books or watched any of movies? TV shows? Whichever? I just could not get into them. I think a lot of the issue with the fantastic Sci-Fi stuff we all grew up with being translated to film has always been quite a feat to achieve. The audience for books is a different audience for live-action, as those who watch live-action do not generally have the patience for a story with all the rich details to unfold. Those of us who were avid comic readers are used to waiting for a story arc to unfold over time. Live-action-only audiences typically are not, which is why the budgets for such shows and movies never had the same budget as regular mainstream shows and movies. With Marvel creating a vast universe in the movies and coming back to TV, I think live-action-only audiences have finally gained the patience to get beyond typical bite-sized entertainment. So, stories like Dune can now prosper in the movies and possibly TV if they go in that medium as well. Some Sci-Fi stories are just really difficult to fully tell in the 2-hour (pushing to 3-hour) limit of movies. I know that one of my favorite book series was pushed to be made into movies, but eventually, the writer admitted that the amount of story that needed to be cut was just far too much of a compromise. He states that he is pushing for TV show like GoT, and all his fans agree that it is the better outcome. The first book alone has enough content for the first season, with easy segments for episodes. The special effects required would only be able to be achieved with today's (and future) technology, giving a more immersive visual experience. For Dune, I'll actually watch this when it comes out. I'm intrigued. Fun cast of actors with a few that are always a treat to watch in whatever role they land.

Basically a custom game feature (not a map editor sadly) where you can design your own matches and rules that can be played with friends or added to a dedicated server browser. Content including maps, guns and vehicles from past Battlefield games. Battlefield Portal is instantly the most exciting part of Battlefield 2042 | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Make custom Battlefield modes with stuff from Battlefield 1942, Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3. Looks kinda cool being able to have 2042 soldiers against WW2 ones!

1st race this week was an absolute disaster for me which kind of started off as early as the practice. I had done about 5 laps the previous night to learn the circuit in GR3 and had got down very quickly into 39s which was promising and then come race day couldn’t get anywhere near that and was even struggling to break the 41sec barrier in quali. And then the race happened... After apparently walking under a ladder whilst smashing a mirror and crossing Luna my black cat, I got the mother load of bad luck and a reasonable start ended up with me getting knocked into the gravel at the first corner and then then unfortunately rear ended at high speed at the chicane, which left my race in tatters, especially on a track like Sardegna. Just one of those things unfortunately ☹️ 2nd race was a complete surprise considering my lack of pace at Monza but I think there’s a different BOP for ovals compared to normal circuits, but either way the beetles high cornering speed really helped overcome my limits in straight line speed. So overall a mixed result with the circuit I expected to do well in ending poorly and the oval I expected to struggle on I ended up doing well The joys of GT Sport!

How have I missed this?! This seriously looks like an amazing feature and something that pretty much is right in FG's sweet spot. Is there any news that this is fully available for all PS4 and PS5 players?? I wonder if there are any restrictions of any kind - all the trailer ideas looked amazing, especially the shock medics against ze Germans with only knives!

Is it just me or this year is definitely quieter all round on the transfer news. I think its not surprising as clubs are having to try and stay afloat after the pandemic in the main. Its funny cos I see my clubs fanbase eager to see people coming like every year without them realising we aren't made of money like virtually 95% of all other clubs out there!

I didn't mind Origins at all more for the setting then anything else. But, I agree with you though about valhalla. It feels like a chore. I've got over 100 hours in the game and I'm at a point where I just can't find the patience to finish it. Every area in the game is literally the same thing. over and over and over. I mean, I'll go back and finish it when I have literally nothing else to play. But, man they really need to rethink this series...again. I'm not very thrilled about infinity either.

I watched a bit of a live stream on it by The Escapist. I'm curious about the combat. It looks more 3rd person hack & slash as oppose to the typical MMORPG. I've also heard folks compare it to Destiny in so far as mission structures and such. I'm not willing to put any money on it right now. I'd like to give a try myself so hopefully they drop an open beta or something.

I've been mostly reading D&D source and campaign books. I'm about half way through Dungeon of The Mad Mage (Which @Rumelylady streams on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm EST) Adventure book and I just bought the Sword Coast guide. I'll probably tackle that or get back on my novel fix. I really want to start the next John Gwynne series "Of Blood & Bone" soon. Really loved the first series and this picks up long after that.

I came in here to post about but you beat me to it 🖕 This looks absolutely awesome in all fairness. It should stop the game getting boring and keep it entertaining for years. I might create a game and whenever @Diddums plays he only ever gets a torch to use as a weapon.

You buy the filament (basically the plastic is uses to print) on spools for about $20 a spool. Then you go on to a place online called "thingiverse". That is where there are a TON of .stl files. the .stl file is the file type that a 3d printer reads to get the info from as to what to print. Then you basically just run the file through a program called a slicer so that it slices the model into layers (I use Cura) and then its ready to print. You can see all the stuff here on thingiverse to print. Just type in something and check out what comes up Thingiverse - Digital Designs for Physical Objects WWW.THINGIVERSE.COM Download files and build them with your 3D printer, laser cutter, or CNC. Thingiverse is a universe of things.
