I thought all of us swinging at the invisible double boss that we did to ourselves was hilarious. Definitely had Gollum with ring on vibes. I like to think it was just adding another layer of difficulty to what would have been an easy fight! I'm super shy too! But, everyone here makes me feel welcome. No worries on the English thing! We all understand you, and much kudos to you for talking to us in English!! I can barely learn my own mother tongues (Mandarin and Tagalog) as I was born in the US. It was great having you on!

yeah the first boss with so many people was a bloody clusterfuck, it was like fighting the gollum with the ring on, but you know with lightning etc i am very glad i started appearing on events too, get to know you guys although i am a tad shy and english isn't my mother tongue

Following some comments on WhatsApp, thought I'd set this thread up for race requests. I know @Mikepjbell and @JBR-Kiwi are interested in trying out the rally tracks. We could do that next week if nobody is averse to it. Not a massive fan myself but always happy to give it a go. Some also like the occasional wet experience. This week's Tuesday races are back mirroring this week's GTS daily races but it doesn't always have to be me setting up the event, tracks and lobbies, so say in this thread anything you want added or changed.

I was hoping to have more time too, although burning the candle after other game nights is basically keeping me going! From my POV is been a breath of fresh air having you guys get on with us and be so active and helpful. Its great that we're having more games with people across the pond and also I think you've supported the reason why we thought a private FG server was the way to go. I think over time from now we'll get people on the server that would love to create thier own designs in a community world as well as explore the larger world to help everyone get on together. I don't see anything stopping them do that, even Matty @Misneach_ got on for the first time last night and started work in his own way for the current island East Base. Super happy to finally get to play with John @Tar-Eruntalion too! Great having you around to have the most weird and crazy laugh a minute boss fight! 🤣😄

Name: Grand Central Location: FG Server, Home Base Now that we have portals, we need a hub to move about the map. After much "debate" about how they worked with @RenFengge , I was tasked with making a hub. I wanted to make a great mead hall anyway so the two naturally seem to fit. Alas, my designs were underway, and I think good progress was made. It's about 57.9873% complete at this point and will be done by the end of the week. With the portals downstairs and the FG Meadery upstairs, you too can enjoy a pint before dashing away to mine some copper or chop some wood through your favorite portal. Enjoy some in flight shots as the day progressed. I especially enjoy the dragon head, keeping our mead hall and portal hub safe!!!

I've been sacrificing a little of my sleep lol. We tend to go to bed at 9PM ET... but lately have been going to bed at 11PM or midnight haha. We hope you and everyone else is happy with all the progress.. we will be slowing down as we mine and whatever. So plenty to do for everyone!

The only thing I’d say is to using a wider selection of cars. We tend to stick to N100, N200, Gr4 and Gr3 - as do the weekly races to be fair. Though I think it could be fun to try some of the cars out the higher N classes. The only potential problem will be leaving people out as typically they’re expensive cars and those who haven’t played it much won’t have a car or be able to afford one. With the races announced the weekend before, maybe decide these a whole week or two in advance? As that should be enough time for those who want to join to obtain a car.

@phil bottle, @GazzaGarratt Well thanks for the feedback and kind words, I will take more in progress shots going forward. We will have at least 12 portals in this building. Can certainly fit double if we wanted to. My thought was having another hub somewhere. Like when we get to another continent. Think train station or airport. We can pick 12 locations of importance here, with a 13th leading to another station. These hubs would just be a leg in a connecting "flight". Will be better than traveling across oceans everytime! Although the dock you two were working on is going to make that first voyage special!!!

I wish I'd had more time the past week, the work done by everyone is pretty amazing to see.

Haven't watched the vid, nor am I taking a side...but Metallica are pretty famous for chasing down anyone who doesn't pay for their music or merchandise.

It's been a couple of days, eh? But, we spent those days really building up what we already had and farming/mining a different world to boost our resources in our FG world. The explored map is getting bigger with a few more details, so I zoomed in. Quick cut and paste to make a map. I'm not going to go crazy on making perfect maps. Notes: Merchant Outpost has been renamed as "The Vault" Dungeons will be slowly removed from the map as I can confirm which are cleared. Or, I will mark them differently as "cleared". Trolls will stay marked since they respawn and have killed many FGers today prior to the boss fight. My bad for not posting an updated map? Or, their bad for not checking the map? Hahah. Small section of the bottom part of the map got clipped. Next map update will obviously not have it clipped. Portals are in the process of being created. The most visited camps/bases/outposts have portals. @TurboR56Mini is working on the Portal Hall (or whatever he wants to call it) at Home Base. Portals work in pairs, so part of each pair will be at the Home Base. So, e.g., if you are at The Vault and want to go the Black Forest Base, you go through the portal to home to Black Forest Base. Home Base is the hub. Home Base has an area for farming and pigs.

It was nothing special just accessory stuff. Today was hard as program sent us back to squats and my knee is still destroyed. However, everything moved really well and had no pain thank god. I think still do that Le Mans track then but during the day in Gr. 2 or 3 in that case. Happy with Red Bull Ring or Tokyo again in the wet, it just adds that extra bit of fun. I really enjoyed that wet Tokyo race!

Unfortunately not Tommy, if I was, i'd be on PlayStation too. I'm stuck in a survival games phase on my PC atm (probably haven't had a different phase on PC tbh!). Its a grindy-esque which I have my fix via other games that don't really have the grind alongside them or if it does they don't feel heavy on you, like Destiny 2 and Valheim.

Sometimes you get funny glitches where only a few people see things like a troll... hilarious this troll was stuck at the entrance of our main base and I'm the only one that could see it! 🤣

Honestly Carl, these were a sight for sore eyes when seeing the progress take place yesterday. The hall was amazing seeing it constructed, sometimes more so than a finished product because it reminded me of how sometimes in films you see them creating building in the back ground and it felt like that! The portal will be a lifesaver in the early stages....we may need to think of where the others will go when we open up the map on the larger scale!

2/20/2021 Workout Squat Workshop Build weight to a 20 rep set. Do 4 sets. 4 sets of 20 reps @ 145lbs Bonus: 3 sets of 5 reps @ 185lbs Thoughts: Ask me to do 5 reps. Not a problem. Ask me to go to 8... Sure. Ask me to go to 10, I'll start looking at you funny. 20 reps? Coach Tim got some serious side eye from me. I hated it, but loved it after? There was still some time in the workshop, so even thought I was literally on the floor catching my breath (and enjoying the cool gym floor), he told me to do 3 sets of 5 at 185lbs. "Not too heavy since your legs are burned," he said. I laughed, but still did it. Stairs are now a nightmare haha. Regarding my weight, I did a scale check in just to see what damage I did over the last 2 weeks of relaxing. Still down a pound from February 1. Total loss of 7.6lbs since January. So, yay. Going to focus on the positive and not beat myself up for not getting to a total of 11lbs loss for end of February. It will come.

I completely agree. It does f*ck with my brain a bit too much when I participate in timed things like this. Instead of focusing on the gradual changes for longer term and healthier results. I'm taking a huge mental step back from the weekly weigh-ins. If I make the month, I make the month. If I don't, then it is what it is. My actual numbers and various endurance times will speak for themselves, not the scale.

Love they've already got a road map for this game. Here's the roadmap at a high level if anyone is interested: Be real interesting to see some further crafting elements to see what they can create. I haven't really even touched the surface with the seas so i don't the extent of what you can do now so its great to see even more coming in update 3. Not sure what they can do with Combat Improvements. I mean the game is pretty basic on that level and based on how it looks and how chill the game is, i'm not even sure it needs too much work. Its not like its going to be Ghosts of Tsushima anytime soon 😄 Definitely would welcome more enemy variants at some stage though but most exciting of all is that they will be doing even more bosses. Considering we're enjoying taking our time through them, its great to hear they're going to extend the RPG element of the game even further. A £15 game and without all of this it was already worth it.
