Alternative Router to solve Wi-Fi Issues
Plumbers Crack and one other reacted to GazzaGarratt for a topic
After 3 days and a lot of tinkering I think I (really, we) may have solved it! Checked over all the settings and options on the Netgear. I knew it wasnt the fibre to the house so checked a few more things. I made the error of the century, by not having my fucking antennas on my PC. what a twat. Still though, it wasnt working fast at all still which was extremely weird. I noticed 'Smart Connect' was on in the Netgear app on my phone and switched it off - spoke alot to @crispymorgan and @Diddums across the past few days and decided to try and split devices across whatever channels i have to offer. Spin forward a few more hours and last night I had my PC on Wifi received approx 200mbps download and upload - managed to delete and reinstall Star Citizen within an hour whilst the guys were online. Also had my PlayStation on a different channel, playing Destiny and downloading a game. Testing it like this seemed to be the best way forward and it's seemed to have worked great! The only one thing that needed abit of a push was our TV in our room - I still have my Wifi booster for the channel that 'other' stuff goes on so that's in the hallway nearer to it, so that still works. Fingers crossed it will all still hold up now - suffice to say its send my round the twist but having you guys here to tap into and help me get through it all, I'm super glad and grateful! Cheers all!2 points -

Thoughts So Far
GazzaGarratt reacted to Plumbers Crack for a topic
Thoughts so far.. Things that bug me Buy food and drink , stow it in your personal inventory, log out....log back in - it's gone. Same with contracts you've picked up but that is possibly understandable Why is it so damn hard on some stations to find stowable food? Why are there no layout maps on all these space stations with "You Are Here" notations? Why don't these super spaceships have anti-glare windshields so you're not squinting into bright stars trying to see a pick up/drop off points? HMDS (?) outposts - currently can't pick up or drop off at these places..leave them the hell alone! Everything else is good so far but I'm only doing delivery missions at the moment to plump up the wedge! £££1 point -

Streets of Rage 4
GazzaGarratt reacted to Spacedeck for a topic
12 stages in total, I think 4 hidden retro boss fights, unlockable retro characters and it saves your progress by stage, so if you fail a stage, you can continue from the stage you failed but you have to replay the stage again, which are all pretty short anyway. If you die, you do have the opportunity to choose a different character or add some assists which will give you extra lives but will impact your score. If Normal is difficult (it is for me), I'd recommend playing through this game on Easy as once you complete the story, you unlock all other game modes and one of them is the retro arcade style with no saves. Overall I'm loving this game but it can be pretty hard going.1 point -

I've watched that Dude Perfect one before with my son, they are quality videos most of the time. And that Zak guy I could easily watch most days. His creative brain is off the charts. Fair play to the bloke. Now I want that chair that is actually 12 chairs in one!1 point -

Grandmaster Nightfalls
GazzaGarratt reacted to FallenDark200 for a topic
I'm down to run all challenges in this game or to help out where its needed. As the grandmaster nightfalls go there the toughest challenges yet. So patience and teamwork in a group is well needed. Patience is the biggest thing I have to help in these nightfalls but I'm willing to jump in and grind away if needed1 point -

Battlefield 5 is dead
GazzaGarratt reacted to Tar-Eruntalion for a topic
they had to make a remake of battlefield 1942 basically with even more maps, guns, vehicles, modes etc but they managed to fail so spectacularly they abandoned both of their games to focus on the next one that will come in a year or so, it seems dice is suffering from a lack of talent etc like bioware1 point -
Running / Cycling
AtomicGhost reacted to GazzaGarratt for a topic
Ever got shin splints from running that far? I don't want to admit it as there's abit of a senior management click with cycling at my place which i'm never a fan of...but cycling has always been something i loved when i was young. I can see how easy it is to rack some km on a quick ride. I'll be looking to get one for our holiday later this year if we're still allowed to go. Its been great to see my daughter learn her bike this past week.1 point -

Have you tried changing the wifi channel on your router? Download this app Wifi Analyzer - Apps on Google Play PLAY.GOOGLE.COM Turns your android phone into a Wi-Fi analyzer!! Shows the Wi-Fi channels around you. Helps you to find a less crowded channel for your wireless router. http://wifianalyzer.mobi ########## For the USB... and see which channel your wifi is on. If it's the same channel as a load of other routers then swap it.1 point -

The slightly delayed quarterly update 3.9 is being tested by the community before dropping to live. One of the new additions is the need to eat and drink but another pretty major addition is: Prison 😵1 point -
