A Dude spent $1,000 on COD points to reach the dizzy heights of tier 1,000 and this is his fucking reward... A CONGRATULATIONS MESSAGE LMAO! After level 250 there are lots of empty tiers where Treyarch didn't bother to create any rewards but if you reach the end you get absolutely nothing to add insult to injury! Whether they didn't expect people to rank this far/spend this kind of money or were just testing the water to see how desperate they were; this is the ultimate kick in the teeth and proof that the battle pass format is nothing more than a scam with absolutely no thought or basis. I think people would rather have purchasable supply drops at this rate as you know you're being fucked by the algorithms but at least you get something in return for spending money even if it is shit. The tier system is just spending $1 for nothing or doing a grind which you have to play 8 hours a day just to reach what people thought was the max level until 750 more were added.

Perhaps if we got a decent game in the first place then people wouldn't walk away and not buy future DLC. They didn't honestly expect people to shell out another £35 as year later on a game they likely abandoned just because Bungie may have improved and fixed some things. Well. The holidays are coming around and I've wanted to build a PC for the longest time. My laptop just doesn't do it anymore. I ultimately wanna just stick this baby by my TV and play there (32 inch Panasonic TV). The games I typically play on my computer aren't very crazy. I tend to play older games that I've never tried before. Old Fallout, Bioshock, (I'd love to play the first and second Witcher games!!!), I play a lot of co-op games with my friends on my laptop. We will run around and play Overcooked 2, Battleblock Theater or Trine, even Diablo games. But i'm at that point where it's impossible now. I love LoL (haven't played that in forever, it just can't handle it anymore!) In a nutshell, I play with IRL friends and I get my alone time when I play on PC. As opposed to the PS4 which I'm pretty much in a party the whole time. So don't worry! I'm not converting! I need to build an introvert machine. THE BUILD I've been watching loads of videos. This seems to be pretty 'budget'. I'm questioning the memory though. If I had a nicer computer, i'd like to try and edit videos properly. So any ideas? I still think we're losing focus here, exactly as detractors of game violence would like. Not one single REAL woman has been injured throughout this entire fiasco. If there were solid evidence that this game inspired hundreds of people (I'm not going to say thousands, that's just stupid) to go out and commit violence against women then there would be a legitimate argument against exhibiting this particular content of the game or for removing this portion of the game completely, but I don't think there is and I don't think there ever will be. The so called negative influence of violent games, is the same as blaming aspects of the television, movie and music industries for why kids grow up to become maniacs, contrary to more legitimate reasoning such as abusive upbringings, peer pressure, gang culture etc.

That's the problem with assuming a subsection of the population is identical. Generalisations eh. As a rule of thumb I tend to stay clear of punching anyone unless it's in self defence, but I hope I'm classy enough to know that advocating the punching of women is not a good look, for myself, or this forum.

There is a capability which we could purchase that allows a user to upload and download files - we've never had a need but this could be explored if there was more interest. We also would have to consider the cost. I'd love to get this place recognised more for the sake of all the wonderful people here, just have to balance things up. Shoutbox came here before my time and was found to discourage posts and threads on here so it got shelved. People do you use WhatsApp and Discord (we have a FG discord channel, whatsapp doesn't work the same) to "chat" and that will happen regardless of this place. The era of instant notifications and quick messaging is how many want to operate. I'll embrace whatever we all want to use as long as people don't forget that the central home of FG is the website as there's more here (posts, info, videos, quizzes, events, widgets that much more, etc) than all other platforms we're on. Like with most things, there's usually a cost and time investment involved but these shouldn't be blockers if we want things. We can make it happen if a lot want it.

At the end of the day it's just 3d models beating up on other 3d models. How can anyone with two or more brain cells to rub together be unable to see that? If it starts here, then where will it end? I got offered a job at a software company in support, but seems more like a call centre rather than a proper IT support role. Minimum wage too with not much scope to progress, interview and company seemed very unprofessional too (difference between laid back and unprofessional imo) Weighing up options but think I'm going to stay where I am which is much better money (£400 extra a month) and jusy keep studying hard in my CompTIA A+ and keep an eye out for proper IT support jobs coming up

Controls are definitely bad - clunky, cumbersome, unresponsive at times and over-complicated. For the level of polish Rockstar games have, it beggars belief that they still have such difficulty with implementing refined and user-friendly controls. GTA V was a big improvement for them but by no means perfect but RDR2's controls feel even worse than that years later. Not sure if a part of it is engine-related but certainly the layouts could've been done simpler and better. The other day I went to hitch my horse in a town by pressing the triangle button but the option disappeared in an instant and replaced itself with 'Rob' because an NPC got in the 'hitbox' so instead of parking my horse, I ended up saying to the guy 'gimme all your money' instead and all hell broke lose! I was only going for a haircut and beans FFS!

Man, that was savage! 😂😂😂 I'm reading a few bits on Twitter and a lot of game developers and game employees are condemning the guy saying that and felt sorry for the developer as it wasn't his fault. Now, it must be horrible to be put in that position and it's never ideal however, 1) he's entitled to his opinion and 2) when Blizzard chose their developer to stand up there, whether he likes it or not, he represents the company. If he is the only person to talk to at that moment then he is jointly responsible to receive that criticism. I think he handled it pretty well tbh, but I don't feel too sorry for him as if he didn't want to stand up and represent Blizzard he should've told them so. On a separate note, the removal of dislikes is just depressing to see.
