  1. Hey Everyone! Tombstone here, I'm going to share the info I've learned over the past two days of this game, without spoilers Preorder bonuses/edition bonuses are obtained once you hit level 20 and finish the main story Power Cap is 300 Infusion has changed, you require the same item entirely to infuse, if you want to infuse a scout rifle, you need to infuse a scout rifle into it only exception to the above is Coldheart/Trace Rifles, they take Auto Rifles NOTE: You can infuse an energy weapon into a kinetic weapon, and vice versa All the TTK Subclasses have returned. To obtain them, you must hit level 15 at least, and reobtain Voidwalker, Striker, or Gunslinger to get the corresponding item. To obtain strikes, you must finish the campaign. Nightfall requirement is 230 power minimum Reputation rankups require 20 of their corresponding item, and you must be level 20 to claim them. Exotics are reobtained through your Vault system Destiny Item Manager already works The eververse transactions "Bright Engrams" can be obtained through gameplay, exactly how Motes of Light are in Destiny 1 Your Guardian's memories are bound by account, not character. You may start a new character and see the "Memories" Cutscenes Clan functions are disabled, they will most likely drop on the week of the raid (September 12th, 2017) Everything in your inventory tab, and your currency carries between characters

Hi! My name is Max, I've been known on the internet as Tombstone for just at 10 years now. I play the living hell out of destiny, more than I'd like to admit to at times. I'm a raid leader at heart, and I play competitively where I can. I'm a complete Lore nerd of destiny, and 50% potato on Rainbow Six. I'm always down to play, feel free to add me on my listed IDs! (Note, I'm in EST/GMT -5)

Well, I've been thinking about this for ages and I think it's time for me to step down as the site's main admin. First off let me say that this is a step which has been deliberated for months, and it's a very big move for me. We started this place together and made it our home, we have grown to become a family and I'm grateful for all the folks I've met on here. That said, I'm not going anywhere, and my reasons for this move will be explained shortly. I'll still be the site founder, I'll still be here, but I think my time as admin has been served and with @GazzaGarratt looking after the place, the site is in good hands and I'm confident he'll continue to be the admin this family needs and deserves. My reason for leaving is a personal one which has many aspects, the most important and biggest one being time and limited access. My degree resumes in October which takes up a considerable amount of my free time, and my overtime is showing no signs of stopping any time soon so I'd rather Lee take over full time. On top of this, I've neglected the forum considerably over the last few months which gives me a guilty conscience about it because I feel I should be doing more. This in turn makes the forum a bit of a sour aspect for me which is a huge contributing factor of me not posting much. By removing that responsibility once more and hopping in the passenger seat, I will be more likely to post as I can come here and chill out without thinking of what needs to be done. The site started off as a project I did mainly on nights when I worked at BT which meant I had tons of time and access 24/7. My new job means I work 7 days a week almost all the time and access to FG is restricted, which makes it a pain in the arse to post or do anything. This coupled with the guilt I feel for neglecting the place and my arsed runs out very soon. Not sure what else to say really. This has been a massive part of my life for a long time, it was my baby and I nurtured it to become one of the best places for us gamers to hang out on the web, but sadly my life has changed and rather than cling on to it like a first born child and neglect it until people start leaving (again), I'm handing it over to Lee once and for all. As I said I'll still be here, I'm not going anywhere, I'm just relieving myself of the responsibility so I can focus on my studies and my career and not suffer the guilt of letting the place go to shit. Apologies for the long wall of text, I can't even begin to tell you how much this means to me, but it's time and I can't think of a better owner than Lee. I love you all! Cheers, Dids

  6. Last night I got up to level 5. I had a few beers and just mashed through all the cut scenes and story stuff which I regretted today. I deleted my Titten and started again, this time soaking the story in and I must say that so far, Bungie have really pulled it off. The story is excellent and complete, it hasn't jumped around at all yet and there are no glaring question marks around it. The bad guy is excellent, actually has a good presence in the game which makes a nice change from the original. The combat is Destiny through and through, excellent and silky smooth. I like the director, so you don't have to go to orbit every time you want to move somewhere else. I'm in the EDZ still which I'm already getting a bit bored of at level 6, so hopefully there's more to explore and do. So far I'm loving it. Loads of activities and stuff to do, loads of people around and the missions have a great atmosphere to them. Great game, may it long continue.

You got to do what you think is best in the end. I wasn't around before Lee took over but by all accounts he has done wonders but you're still an important part of this place.

    Pay to win?

Just watching closely to hopefully see it won't escalate. It's a choice but it mustn't mess with the basic fundamentals of RNG grind. Via the FG App

  14. -The graphic are nice. -I like how much larger the planets are. -I like how you don't have to go to orbit anymore to change destinations. -I like how instead of a stupid mote of light you get a bright engram when leveling up at 20. -As mentioned above, I love how we don't have all these blue engrams we have to turn in every 30 minutes. -Loving the variety of Crucible game modes. -I wish they would utilize some of map space at the farm/tower. More vendors or something. -Yay! We don't have to waste time trying to find public events anymore. -I found the story boring and the bad guy underwhelming. He looked like he came out of Overwatch or something. Cute. -I love how we have to travel to just start a mission. I've gotten side tracked so many times doing this. -Vehicle missions. [emoji106] -Tokens, planet collectibles, and gunsmith parts, I love that just by collecting these things you can turn them in to gain rep and get a legendary. Makes you actually want to collect things. Now bring on clans, factions and raids. [emoji119] Via the FG App

  15. Of course!, then perhaps I am more inclined toward the Country Home rather than the Medieval Fortress (I would have lasted two days in medieval times had I been born back then...). To be honest, i am not sure I understand what sort of lava bridge you wanna build but I am up for it. I forgot to say, thank you to whoever built the fireworks dispenser near mine (/warp casa). Greboth, was thaz you?? Below there are a couple of videos from my town' Ball de Foc (the Fire Dance)... a traditional fire chasing event that takes place on 1 September every year in my town, Vilafranca del Penedes (near Barcelona)... the videos are from 2015 but just so that you get an idea of what we get up to :-) Salut!

  16. Technically infusion is claiming that you can infuse up to 350. So it's looking like that might be the end cap when the hard raid is out. Additionally, at least one exotic quest I have requires the raid, so there may be more. Nightfall has a 230 and 300 recommended power variant, with the 300 being called prestige. The two affixes currently are Prism, which is essentially a rotating burn, moving at a rate of a switch every 20 seconds. It only powers up the three elements, and does not affect enemy or kinetic damage. The other is that the Nightfall is on a 10 minute timer, but now if you go over time the mission fails. Killing enemies will add time, with two seconds added for red bars and up to seven for yellows. Also, don't save engrams. An engram is fixed to your light at the time of drop, not decrypt, so you can't hang on to an exotic engram until almost at max light for that little push like D1.

From what I can tell, save rep tokens and materials til your level 20 and have higher power levels. Via the FG App

  18. Like James i hate the scummy way they went about the first game. Fortunately I simply haven't the time for this so they can go swivel until the £10 GOTY year edition in the 2018 Steam spring sale[emoji23] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

  20. Without derailing this thread too much - SP and MP can be the same or offer different experiences. I have an SP world which I'm deliberately not playing in the same way as MP. Due to server load it isn't possible to build the 10,15, 20 or more farms required to automate everything so I'm keeping that to SP while enjoying MP for everything else.
