    Ouya "basically dead"

Hi. This is an "I told you so" thread. Remember when people were talking about the OUYA? Remember when I said it would be a huge flop? Remember when people said it would be a big hit and revolutionize the gaming industry? Doc and Pepperidge farm remembers. http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2014/03/07/hit-kickstarter-video-game-console-ouya-is-basically-dead/ So, you know, I told you so.

    Ouya "basically dead"

LOLZ I remember posting a few times how this was nothing more than a way to play shitty phone games on your tv. Now I see it at Target in the clearance section regularly. Sidenote: I bought that Atari Collection that you see there. That shit is amazing!

    Doc's firearms thread

I went to the range today and at 5 yards repeated my drill with live fire. My first shot was 1.82 seconds and in the "A" box. Second shot was 1.85 seconds, also in the "A" box. I ended up shooting 100 rounds, all my reloads. A 230 gr plated FMJ over 4.4 grains of Winchester Super Target. About 50 draw and fire one shot. About 30 draw, one body shot and one head shot. About 20 with an instructor watching me at my request to see if he could spot any flaws in my technique. First target of the day (note I used both sides, so some holes are "in" and some are "out" from the perspective of this shot. Almost all "A" box hits. I did start stringing left as I started getting tired. I know why, gripping too hard with my right hand.

  4. I've picked up Papers Please (£3.49) and Prison Architect (£9.99) so far which are supposed to be two very good and addictive indie games. Not much else I'm interested in at the minute and a fair few games currently reduced I already own. Desperately wanting STALKER bundle to go down though.

You can keep your "free" healthcare. I don't want or need the government minding my business for me. That's beside the point, though it's also American

    Rap

While rap is far from my favorite genre, my childhood was absolutely filled with it, and even now, I've taken a few souvenirs from then with me. Old rap is best rap. You can argue and say I'm wrong, but I'm Allah himself.

    Game of Thrones

They left out my favourite quote from the books. Gutted. “Lord Tywin Lannister did not, in the end, shit gold.” - Tyrion

    Rap

I'm in the same boat. It's not the same anymore. Like with every other genre of music it's so saturated with no talent hacks and 79,000,003 sub genres I don't have the strength to sift through an ocean of shit to find a diamond. Take Southern Rap for example. I hope they all die. I do come across some acts that interest me though. Most of the motifs are satirical or about movies and weed. If you're into old old school rap/hip hop 'Kiweeeey' you should talk to Bees. For a pink ass Hitler baby poster child he sure does know a lot about the foundations of American rap, and he'll rap the songs to you while shaking his head like he's in a tourettes fit. It's mildly uncomfortable and you'll look around to see if someone is watching but he don't care. Lately the only hip-hop I've supported has been my man Josh's side project Weerd Science. I enjoy the off color humor and reoccurring themes. He writes and plays instruments on a lot of the songs so it's kind of unfair to rappers when someone who is musically talented to begin with makes what you do look easy and you like a turd in the process. Uh oh!
