I feel Call of Duty has lost its identity now. It used to be a WW style game but IW taking the risk of bringing it to modern times paid off with COD4 and MW2 but now 3 futuristic titles on the bounce is a put-off right off the bat. It does look good but it's not the COD I remember and once loved. Don't they ever listen to the community? Most people want a modern day game or a revisit to the classic era from what I've seen over the months. If they made this is direct response to Titanfall or something; then they've wasted their time as that hasn't set the world alight like we thought it would. Seems they are too scared to alienate the younger target audience who aren't old enough to buy the game by going back to a classic era either. I'm gonna get sick of this once the micro items baloney comes to fruition too.

You're hyped but you just don't know it So basically the 'reveal' was supposed to be on Sunday but Activision for some reason jumped the gun and decided to release it 10 hours or so ago despite launching a teaser site yesterday with a countdown? I suppose this means we have fuck all to look forward to on Sunday then. I'll HAVE to go to church now as I'm all out of excuses

Just seen the trailer, looks like CoD and Halo has a love child! Hope all the Sci-Fi nonsense isn't in multiplayer, that jumping could get very frustrating! All in all I'm not impressed in the slightest with that trailer, too many things look rage inducing! Can't wait to pre order.

I also got some more goodies recently so my tanking ilvl is 506. On a side note, I hit the point where I need to gather 3k valor points for the legendary quest. I stacked them all ready to go but unfortunately I need to collect them with the quest active, so that's put me back three weeks. Meh. Still, glad I'm done with those damn sigils.

I've said this for a long time, I hate futuristic games. Not interested. I will gladly switch to BF5 by the time I get a PS4.

I was getting excited for the next CoD. Now, I'm less interested. I'd much rather see them go backward in the timeline than into the future. I don't want nano suits, lasers, etc. I want bullets, good maps, and bad guys.

Haven't bothered reading anything but I love ww games. No scopes, red dots, heartbeat sensors, uavs or any of that other bullshit which can turn a slight lead into a thorough kicking. That's always been my issue with cod, that a good team can get their blackbirds and what not and basically dominate. It's beyond a nod or tipping scales in your favour, it's basically helping you turn the enemy team into a defenceless mess. Lose all that shit but keep the game pace and give us bolt action rifles, and maybe, just maybe ill deal with the pussy assed frogs again.

Watched the trailer again... Honestly I don't think this even looks like Call of Duty anymore. Why can't they go back to basics and make something like CoD4, MW2 or WaW. I liked it better when they had battles like in real war and not sci-fi spec ops. I usually like sci-fi but not in Call of Duty.

They've been working on this for some time now,way before TitanFall. So I don't think that's it. The biggest problem with Titanfall is they got the shaft by EA making it a xbone exclusive. If they released it on both it would easily be the top grossing game on both consoles. Granted it may be from lack of competition. I don't care if it's throwing spears and rocks if it's smooth,has really good maps and a good connection. I don't need all the fancy shit. Do I like the pick ten. Yea. I like the new system on Ghosts also. I wouldn't mind going back to the way it was on MW3 either. Fuck off with the tracker sights and target finders. Leave out the IEDs and bouncing berries and claymores. Go back to the soundless whoring like BO2. Just make it fun and worth my money.

Thank god we had two pro tanks yesterday who knew this stuff was this easy, tbh I didn't expect anything else from flex and the first two bosses. However getting Norushan on the first try was quite impressive. The sha gave us some troubles tanking wise, but we had it figured out by the 3rd try wich we were close on. Not sure what happened there but I guess it was alot of explosions + the raid wide aoe dmg, might consider picking up amz for sha. As to one tank recieving all the loot yesterday flex will gear the group up faster than the normals so it's all fine, soon you don't have to pretend to be the MT anymore! PS: It was fun to get started again nice to see some new faces in the mix!

Actually went much better than I expected. I have to defend the pug deeps ttho, they really saved our asses . We only had two bad ones, but they left quickly. The pug rogue and monk were much better geared than any of us (apart from the healers *cough*) I am looking forward to the tanks getting better gear (Cele, Burden wink wink, nudge nudge) Other than that, first time raiding with you guys was quite pleasant. I liked the chilled atmosphere a lot. It was also my first time healing in a raid outside LFR. I hope we can progress soon

Basically I could care less about setting as long as its fun and quick paced like COD should be. As for weapons and abilities whatever as long as its balanced or has a counter I'm fine with it. The community will still find ways to be a douchbags.

I don't get the hype over the campaign. As most have said, multiplayer is what we are concerned with. All in all, how much of the campaign is ever brought over to the multiplayer? Usually when it is, it's a toned down version, if my memory serves me right. The only time I get excited about the next new CoD coming out is when the multiplayer is revealed, so until that happens, this is all just taking up space. *shrugs*

Not really impressed at all to be honest. But not sure if that surprises me as all i'm interested in is multiplayer and the trailer only showcases single player. Looks like it's trying to jump on a bandwagon of futuristic shooters like Titanfall and Halo rather than doing it's own thing. But if it does go down that route they'll have to do an awesome job to compete with Destiny which will already have a couple of months of release in the bank

No way it would be WW1. That's such a boring setting for a multiplayer game. Bolt actions and revolvers for everyone. Killstreaks are mustard gas and wire obstacle. I never bought Ghosts, my son got BO2 a year after it came out for Christmas or I wouldn't have it to play, most likely not going to buy whatever's next either. BO was the last one I was excited about at launch.

Just everything i read about this game just makes me want it more and more. PvE, PvP and community events, skill trees, raid type things.... September 9th will be booked off work and maybe another day or 2 on top. Gimmie gimmie now!!

I'd love another war era game. Thr first few iterations of cod were extremly good and each one improved in the genre. Whereas the "modern" day era games are now a little stale. So long as there's some good innovation and thought i'll be happy. Ghosts screamed out to me that it was a game they didn't really give 2 shits about apart from microtransactions. Plus don't be afraid to steal the good ideas from previous games. Pick 10, league play, killstreaks that you actually enjoy getting! etc etc... With Destiny and the Division on the horizon they are really going to have to show something special to claw back some of the fanbase that was alienated in the last few games

I have a idea. Stop worrying about the campaign and do nothing but multiplayer. Worked for Titanfall. I will work for CoD.
