I've been to Barcelona. It was the most incredible trip I've ever been on. The city is very safe, we were up till 5am every night walking around the city. It was our presidents club trip for work and they put us up in the Hotel Arts (Ritz Carlton) right on the beach. The beach is fantastic with plenty of bars and restaurants right on it. If you go there, you absolutely have to rent a moped. Me and 4 other guys rented mopeds and spent an entire day driving around the city exploring. It's super easy to drive there. No crazy drivers....it's basically the same as driving around here and it's the same side of the road. And it's impossible to get lost because there are only a handful of buildings over 5 stories so you can always see where you are. Beach on one side ignore city, mountains on the other. You just hop on, and take turns leading the drive. Go wherever the hell you want and see everything The food is fantastic, the wine is fantastic, and the people there don't hate Americans. We're planning on going back in the next year or so.

I use moleskin, which is like a velvety version of athletic tape that comes in little cut-to-fit sheets. As far as the pain, I dunno, I guess you get used to it. I listened to a story on NPR about those African dudes who run on the ultra-marathons and win. Their culture puts a premium on being able to withstand pain. They circumcise the boys at about 13 with sharp sticks. I figure if a 13 year old can stand their stoic while his dick is poked with sharp sticks, I can run on blisters. I think about that a lot, actually, when pain of any kind is trying to stop me from doing something I want to do. That, combined with the knowledge that medical technology can replace my knee when I finally wreck the damn thing beyond the VA's threshold and I can usually find the motivation to ignore it. Except tooth pain. I'm a big pussy if my teeth hurt. I still won't let the dentist take my wisdom teeth out.

For the first one, the guy is in college, he should know Achilles, if not for the heel, then the mythological character. Probably not as funny as the next 2. The second one is funny as there is no way it could have been car, as the letter "R" had already been used. The way the show works is they give you a clue, like CHARACTER, BEFORE & AFTER and THING for a puzzle. The contestants then spin the wheel for money. When the wheel stops, you pick a letter. If that letter is in the puzzle, it gets displayed and you win that amount of money for each time that letter is in the puzzle. If the letter isn't in the puzzle, you lose your turn. So with the second one, The letter "R" was already in the word WORLD, so there is no way it could have been CAR. I find the last one the most hysterical and the one I laughed the hardest at. DICESPIN!?!?!?!? What the fuck is DICESPIN? The look on the girl from Texas A&M was priceless. She was actually laughing at him. MORON!!!

I should also mention i was lucky enough to get a ticket to the semi final on Saturday, was amazing that it went down to penalties but Arsenal fans really let themselves down. 80% of the stadium were Arsenal fans, which seemed really weird baring in mind it's a semi final but that's beside the point. The whole stadium booed every single Wigan player who stood up to take a penalty, just a shame that this is the kind of sportsmanship you get in football now a days. Honestly a few boo's here and there wouldn't have been too bad but it was literally the whole stadium. Got epic seats for the game, will post some pictures tomorrow at some point.
