I only own viva la pinata but I have read alot about video games. My hopes is to one day either be run over by a car or fall down stairs so I may never have to work another day, just play viva la pinata. I imagine my wheel chair would be soaked to the tits in viva la pinata stickers. I only know Daddums and Infaption but im sure if anyone wanted we could skype chat through a viva la pinata session. I absoloutely prefer it this way. For me: 1 - You don't regret prestiging. I used to hate prestiging and then going on to play in a shitty session. Sometimes you need to go back to the perks you want or the guns you feel comfortable with. Now you can go back to your "favourite" soldier when you want. 2 - You can have game mode specific characters and loadouts. You can have one set up for Dom, TDM, SnD, just choose which one before you play. 3 - You have overall more control. You can finish one guy off first, level up 2 at once or all ten.

I've spoken to a few people who have said that "Microsoft changed their tune, it'll be fine" etc etc. As you say, the fact is that Microsoft have shown their hand, and nowhere in their deck do they have gamers' interests at heart. Everything about the reveal was just "take take take", they made it pretty clear that their only intention was to squeeze gamers until there is nothing left. Everyone was saying how well Sony did, when in fact they didn't do well at all. All Sony had to do was not fuck up. That was it. I give it a year before some of these restrictions for borrowing games and second hand stuff are all implemented via a "security update" - either that or MS will find another way to fuck their customers over. mark my words. I'm even willing to put money on it.

So what do you guys think of create a soldier, compared to the way prestiging has worked in the past To me it's going to change the way I approach the game I think. My plan is to max out Wen, so effectively do prestige 1 as if it were just a prestige, but then after that I can't see myself maxing out the characters in any order at all. Instead I'm going to set them up as if they where 'class sets' , and dedicate each to a specific game mode. I might take them up to say level 20 before dedicating them, but it will mean I'll end up working a number of 'prestiges' at the same time depending upon what I want to play Anyone else got plans for how to use this new feature? Also I'm not convinced that I like it better than the way prestiging has been done in every other CoD. I used to like the run through to pick up just one more class slot, now for 27 squad points I can end up with 30 class slots. Anyone else prefer the old way to the new way? It's definitely one thing I'm crediting them with, it's a great idea. Prestiging was getting stale, it's made more interesting in for me. And for Cal, he just messaged a photo of him having named one of his characters Beaux Knerr . I'm going to be his cousin, Juan Kerr.

You only get prestige emblem 1 for a completed character. If you unlocked all your squad and complete number 10 but ignore 2 through 9, you'll get prestige emblem 2. I've just prestiged for the first time. As soon as I finished level 60 (you have to complete this level, not just hit it, same as previous CODs), my emblem changed and I'm using the same emblem now on my second guy. I took over something like 180 points so my second guy already has my favourite class and 6 loadouts. I like this, but not everyone will. I enjoy levelling up, but having the choice to change to how I want to play as well. This can work either way if you wish. I've updated my PPR with my prestige 1 stats.

I'm sure you only go up a prestige each time you get a soldier to level 60. It isn't that suspicious, some people have had the game for weeks and you even get people who will take a week off work/school and play it till the disc burns out!

Playing hardcore today noticed wiretap didn't work, enemy sat com's don't bring up the mini map so its a wasted perk choice. Not sure if it works perhaps if you have a sat com operational.

Dave, it's fine, the party system is a bit weird at the moment. I seem to be OK when my NAT is Open but it's flicking between Open and Moderate at the moment. Also, if you get multiple invites, it's not that we're trying to spam you, we've been changing party leaders when people can't join which means we have to send a new invite.

As far as I know IW never announced that it was a re-skin. I think that is where some of the anger is coming from (not that's justified in my opinion). Treyarch embraced what they were doing and announced it. IW seems to have just slipped it in. I think that's the difference. I personally don't mind. I liked Dome and I like this map. Both are fun for me and both play different.

First of all...I love the hell out of this game. I do have a few complaints though 1. The challenge system SUCKS. I miss the old version, I can't complete some unless their "selected" which is retarded. 2. I miss weapon stats, I want to see how many kills I got with the lsat, how many headshots with the msbs ect. 3. I miss cool guns. Like the ak47, M4A1, desert eagle, colt 1911, M60,UZI, barret .50....you know all the badass guns lol. 4. Ghosts/elite what ever the fuck is annoying, only available for phones, nothing on the xbox or computer....bad business idea on their part. I was missing S&D but their returning that game mods, so that's all good.
