Looks pretty poor. 95% of the world didn’t even know or give a shit this was being revealed. Doesn’t help that the guys showcasing it are annoying as fuck. Still it seems better than the cartoony embarrassment that is Black Ops 4. Mechanics looks decent at least but interface looks a bit busy.

Whilst he was annoying like @phil bottle said, I'm really excited for this. That looked pretty good to me, definitely a different spin on things with same loadouts for everyone, no specialists in this mode whatsoever. Makes me think about our private match nights and how fun we could have even just between all of us in this mode.

 

Even Drift0r has come out and said the gameplay was something he just wasn't expecting from an Infinity Ward game at all and this is seriously a CoD game that is looking likely to be better than a ton of previous games.

Activision probably see him as a great person after he scammed all those kids on CSGO Lotto. They probably use him as their main supply drop salesman.  Any other company with integrity would have disassociated themselves with pieces of shit like that. Coming to think of it, there isn't one likable person in the COD community who is honest and fun to watch. I had to be really selective last night in viewing videos as I didn't want to click on one of the cocksucker videos.

Check out Prestige is Key. By far one of my favorite YouTubers. Exclusive Ace is good too. Both seem like honest people. Prestige is definitely critical on the things that suck. I’m actually surprised that they invited him to the event after all the bitching about supply drops in Blops 4

I watch Drift0r now and then and I think he puts more effort into his videos than any other of the COD YouTuber's and does some unique content but once in a while he lets himself down by criticising Activision one minute and a day later he's back sucking them off because he doesn't want to lose his annual event invites. I get his channel is based around COD so he needs to keep both sides happy but holy shit some of his material ends up being really contradictory especially if done in quick succession. It's a bit like TmarTn when he slagged Activision off for supply drops and then the very next day he opened $15,000 worth on video whilst baiting kids to do the same CSGO Lotto style. 

 

I don't think Activision are too bothered about criticism like they used to be though and it doesn't appear they are too phased by even their own contracted cocksuckers slagging their scumbaggery off. They know people will still pay up and as long as the YouTuber's keep making content and playing the game daily, the franchise gets the desired exposure.

I think YouTube's algorithms have made things worse and it's all about the grift for many of these characters now. It's a shame but there are still a few decent ones left.

As for this game, I really want it to be good. It looks awesome from what I've seen.

Rumours already circulating, suggesting this game was originally supposed to be Ghosts 2 but Activision wanted it changed to a more appealing brand but didn’t want a MW continuation that would alienate this gen of kids who never played the first three. Looking at the interface and menus, I’d say it’s a strong possibility that this was the case and halfway through release it’ll probably be confirmed as true just like all the BO4 rumours were proved right. The game seems behind schedule too. 

 

I hope they don’t waste too much time on developing 2v2 either with their deluded eSport direction. It’ll be fun to play now and then but 6v6 is where it’s at and hopefully ground war too.

It does have a more of a competitive feel to it. I'd like to see the random gun generator on a gamemode with 6v6. That would be hilariously good fun.

Finally some raw footage without those streamers screaming like idiots after every kill. Some of the weapons don't sound very meaty and I think this game is going to have an identity crisis.

I thought the guns sounded great tbh and saw quite a few comments agreeing, nice to see footsteps back too but probs be nerfed when people complain lol

I think it has to have one now given where the core FPS playerbase is playing BR games from time to time. They also should be able to develop Blackout a little further, I'd love a Rainbow 6 esque BR with smaller map/quicker closing in to give faster matches. That's where Apex has it better than BO.

Funnily enough, on the opposite side, BR game PUBG is now - I hear - developing a story mode.

Exactly what Apex Legends are doing too. I think it's also why Overwatch is building a PvE game. The demands of having a game that can do both PvP and PvE are very much want people want these days.

I hope the motion blur can be turned off but other than that, I am looking forward to the MP reveal. The blur just gives it too much of a cinematic feel and makes the framerate look a bit low. Hope we get a nice variety of maps too with different terrain types and sizes. It's embarrassing how Treyarch kept recycling the same old shit over and over and then change the time of day and weather to really stretch it out as much as they could. The likes of Firing Range have been done to absolute death - BO1, BO2, BO3, BO4 day/night/rain etc....Fuck me, sick of it.

 

If they do a BR mode attached, they'll probably go for something like Alcatraz size-wise as opposed to a full scale Blackout type mode. BR is beginning to fade in its usual format and Blackout has been struggling for some time so I can't see them going for something too grand especially if it's free. I would've loved to have seen a massive BR in Prypiat on a 1:1 scale where the radiation acted as the gas - that would've been amazing IMO. Sadly COD devs spent too much time focusing on the future era and wall running to truly innovate like they used to. 

 

This gen has been a total wasted opportunity but they may well go out on a high with this.
